Excited- I’ve had a Mech squonker since the reo days. Ended up finding a good deal on a pulse 80w. I know they aren’t the fanciest mods; but, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s also my first foray outside of the 18650s; other than the old 18490 provape mods. I’m clearly late to the party, but damn happy to be there. This is an ideal grab and go setup for me.

Looks like a Mesh-hadaly

Better names = A "Malady"? A "Had-a-Meshy"?

But no - it's not mesh, it's just a very very weird bit of ultem, to reduce chamber.
Looks to me like it will BLOCK airflow, and I already rarely use my Hadaly and Entheon because they are, to me, a little too restricted... But I'm sure it'll be right for some folks...

You know already who makes it ;)

I know nothing more than the picture and the MFG.

Psyclone Mods Citadel
Man, they're really getting mileage out of that Hadaly airflow... looks nice, but I'm very curious about that ultem insert in the deck.

Double coil with an insert - am somewhat anti-insert - but that goes back to the bad old Goblin days, lol

Wonder what the well will look like

I am sure its a single coil, but with the deck having posts as such allows universal winding ( CW or CCW) similar to how the SSM RTA is pictured here...

upload_2018-8-30_18-54-49.png

Although I really don't know, but it would be very odd to see them make a dual coil RSA with that insert-whatchamacallit

Hi Squeeps!
Took some breaks while working the past couple days and paid a little visit to my vape groups on Fessbouk, I have them all on a ‘list’ (200+ !) and try to just go there once a week, but I’ve been crazy busy, leaving in 2 months for France again and I’m out of my head, so it’s been awhile.
It was like visiting another planet this week. There is so much new stuff coming out. SO MUCH. Too much!
Looks like since everyone is all obsessed on vintage gear now, the big next wave is 18350 mech BF’s for salts. I think Seigi (Tiny Little F#krz) was the first to revive Paolo’s (Frankenskull) 18350 idea from a couple years back (the Frankenweenie or somethin?) ...Seigi had a vendor make special bottles for his because it’s so small.
Everything’s going Mini again yo!

For me, trying my best to dodge these Labor Day sales ...but stumbled today and bought 3 more Asmodus mods. I really dig em!
Daily bangers that hit fast, long battery life and good lookin too.

Welp... Time for a disco nap.
Rock on everyone, hugs to you all.
Even (especially) @The Cromwell !

That looks more like one big coil on a deck that can accommodate two smaller coils, which I have done many, many times. We'll see I guess. I love the Hadaly, would like the Entheon better if the wells weren't so deep.

Welcome back!

Cheers dude!
I’ve posted a couple times in the BilletBox thread/forum but shelved my BB for the time being, and I’m technically not ‘Bonkers’ anymore either... but y’all are family!
They need a forum for ‘obsessive compulsive vapers who wish they were French and have a new THE ONE every other week, with amazing collections but prefer the TFV8’

But... until then...

I hated the way the original TFV4 vaped it was just way too hot for me.When I picked up an AL85 kit which came with a (baby beast) I gave away the tank in trade for a Spirals + if I recall correctly.
That TFV8 still sits on my donation table. Not even my neighbor who's a cloud chasing fiend will take it.

I tried a clone Goon and hated it. Later, got an authentic 22mm Goon and loved it - I still have two of those in rotation.
Never really thought either the 1.5 or the LP looked like any improvement for how I use Goons (dual simple coils, and 2/3 open - which is pretty airy).

neo-blackgoon.jpg

I keep forgetting to try a goon.
It and the hadaly have been my go to atty for the last two years.

I have 22 on my boxer mech squonker, before that it was on my vaporshark.
I keep the hadaly on another Mech squonker.
A 24 stays on something more high powered; but, I just popped another one on the 80w Squonk box and it’ll probably stay there until the mod dies.
The only other atty I’ve liked over the past few years was the original recoil and that stays on one of the big power boxes.

Undo the small circle contact part that holding the positive...pull off positive...thread back in insulator....put positive back on, thread small positive nut back in.

Happens with the MM510 when they are used with RSAs with long pins and 510 threads, you hear the spring go crunchy before it seats flush, you've gone to far...

Hi5

Edit...when I say positive, the black wire, since it's coming from the positive terminal

I'm back up and running ... I'm gonna take it to the local vape shit hole and have them tighten the nut . I can't get in there with the needle nose pliers

The black plastic part ( spring housing+ feeder tube housing) was pushed out from a long 510... you can see that the second brass ring (Upper) has also been pushed off the plastic...not a fault with the MM510...but one of the reasons they aren't used in conjunction with lets say a RDA like a complyfe with super long positive pin.

If that plastic job is stripped and wont thread tight...don't fret to much...you can buy one online (MM510) fairly cheaply.

Even the better Moddog 510/ SVASK 510s have this issue that if plunged to far it will push out the plastic part.

As for the black plastic part going back in... doesn't need to be more than hand tight...and if you look at it, you will see a separation line in the middle...as long as you are mated to that, you're good to go.

The upper brass 15mm nut you can use a flat head and tap the edges of the nut...again it doesn't need to be cranked tight... just tight enough as to allow you to unscrew a RSA without it spinning.

Derived from Latin silva "wood, forest". This was the family name of several of the legendary kings of Alba Longa. It was also the name of an early saint martyred in Alexandria.

In essence it means (Man Wood):teehee::teehee::teehee:

Sorry to hear about the hand issues.
It’s flat head screws though, which help make it easy to build on.
Especially if you buy the prewrapped coils that are so prevalent nowadays.
Not sure how bad your hands are though.
I keep sporadically trying subohm tanks but I still can’t get into them.
-every rank I get I break the glass on within a week.

Ordered mine from 3f last month. Supposed to ship the 30th but I think it's been moved to mid September

So the original 3F listing for that Gloom from a few days ago is gone, replaced with the Black, Blue, Silver. But the 3F listing doesn't mention anything about MOSFET.

The original mechanical Gloom clone from a few days ago is still listed on 2F website, along with the new Ulton Black, Blue, Silver MOSFET versions.

Hmm. Mech or mosfet I figure 25 bucks wasn't bad. I'd rather have a mosfet though

I have the black Ulton Mosfet one in my cart at 2F, along with the $13.50 version of the KRMA so I can compare it to the Ulton KRMA version, you know, for science!

Told myself no more vape gear this year, but I can't pass up a MOSFET Gloom for $26. :giggle:
