VandyVape pulse 80w

hey guys I’m a little new to this RDA building etc as I have vaped for about 3 years using aspire ltanks with pre made coils.

I recently got the Vandy Vape with a dead rabbit sq which is sooooo much better than a pre made I dot know why I didn’t do it earlier.

My question is it came with a Efest 30a 18650 but I’m wonderibg what’s best for an upgrade? Is a 20700 much better and longer lasting?

Also what charger should I be looking at getting A’s I think I’ll need 2 batteries

If that mod takes 2x700, (and I think it does), and you are suffering an Efest-anything - Yes. By all means buy a couple 20700 or 21700. They have higher amp-ratings than most 18650 and they usually lug around more maH as well.

I have not invested in any of the 2x700 family - having plenty of 25r's and vtc5a's. But, yes: you want to get a charger as well.

It will take 20700s but not 21700s. Not up on who makes best 20700 but I have some vapcell 20700s I think mooch rates these at 30A 3100mAh.

When you get a charger you want one with extra slots so you have more room to get 2x700 batteries out.

I avoid Efest batteries, they have a bad reputation. I think @Ralph_K is steering you in the 'right' direction on batteries. You could also look for Sony or LG batteries, these both are usually on par with being 'good'. Whatever battery you do get, be sure you buy from reputable vendor/s. I like going to IMR but there's a few other good vendors online and off.

If you can use 20700s, do it!

I feel they're so much better than the 18650s.

I run a Luxotic NC on 20700s and used 18650s with it, too, never had 18650s back in it after that test.

I personally use Enercig EC-27HC, but beware, due to a double wrap, those are a tiny bit thicker than a standard 20700 and don't fit all mods. It's a very tight fit in the Luxotic NC and I don't know about the pulse.

The Xtar VC4 is a great charger for the money and will charge your 2X700 batteries at 1 amp if you charge em 1 at a time like I do.

I got a nitecore D4 and putting 2 2x700s in first 2 or last 2 slots will charge both at 750ma while still being easy to remove. Not a fast charger but that is the point. I have 3x 21700s and 3x 20700s so I don't have to wait for batteries to charge
