Battery Placement

I bought an unregulated box mod made by Cigreen with mechanical connections and I already educated myself about the Ohm's Law and Battery Safety so I think I'm already fit to use an unregulated mech mod. The mod is parallel but my problem is the negative connection wire is soldered to the 510 pin and from my understanding, the positive connection should be the one connected to the 510 pin but the sticker for battery placement shows that I should place my batteries the other way around. I have not used the mod because it's getting me confused and I don't want to take the risk of blowing things up especially my face. Should I obey the sticker or should I ignore it? or will it work either way?

I'm gonna be using a 0.31 resistance with a pair of LG HG2 batteries with it.

Thank you for your honest answers.

Can you post a few pics and/or tell me the exact make and model?

Like: Cigreen "Cloudripper V4"
That's not it but there has to be a model number.

A picture of what you’re looking at would help most.

There should be a red wire going to the positive of the 510 and a negative going to the nut of the 510. The but is the ground. It basically grounds or neutrals to the body of the mod.

But please send a pic so we see what you see

Yea, You should be OK to put the batteries in exactly like it says.

As long as the center red wire (or whatever color yours is) is connected to the switch as well as the very center part on the 510 and the ground wire goes from the bottom up to the outside of where the center wire is then you are set.

If you want to be extra special careful then put the first battery all the way in then just ease the second one in barely at first.
That way you'll know instantly that it's right and if it's not the battery isn't even in the mod yet and you just pull it away.
