Been looking myself just to try something new. I'm liking the bezerker.

The reason that these have caught my attention is that with a SMALLER hole closer to the coil where the air hits the coil, this creates a higher-velocity air flow, which in my experience creates more flavor, and more heat-feeling to your mouth, without needing high power...

My main use will be on the v1 of the Pico Squeeze for now.

Please tell me your thoughts - good, bad and ugly regarding these atomizers listed above.

I must've missed the Ammit....or just ignored it.
I would say of the other two, the Galaxies is a bit better flavor and more flexible.
My main dislike with the berserker was the awkward way the coil mounts, the need for very long wick tails, the overall chamber size (too big IMHO ) you get a hollow vape....well, at least I did.

I agree with bear on the berserker. It’s just not quite there. I tried multiple coils and coil placement and it never really popped.

Advice?

I do NOT do much in the way of working on mods - funny, since I run like 30 mech squonkers...but it's true.
Still, I have one that I want to "gut" - and just use the box replacing the contact strips and 510.

Any source that's good for both? Most stuff is always out of stock on Moddog, but I figured Moddog or Modmaker for the 510.

This is kind of how it's set up - I'll want to get a 510 that's "flush" even if I have to drill the delrin. And I'll want to go silver probably.
Might leave the "spring" approach for battery variance - that or just shim up the contact point...

Go the silvered out modmaker 510

Strips can be copper for springiness. Then solder on a .999 silver pad to make the contact point with 510 nut

You can get contact strips and the 510 from mod maker. I know they carry cooper strips,but I think they have silver plated also. And you can get the silver kit for the 510.

You could check brosciencevapes also. They are in the US and carry the mod maker 510s and bottles. Don’t know if the have added the contact strips or if they plan to. I’d give you a link but I’m on my phone.

An update on my issues with the Inbox v3...

I let it set for 5 days. Not that it would do anything, but maybe there were capacitors inside that needed to fully drain, and thus allow a full reset of the device.

During that time I discovered that there was a newer version of Escribe than what I had installed, so I grabbed that, and installed it over the previous version (Win7 in VirtualBox, since I am on Linux and refuse to install Mono on Linux for the Linux version of Escribe)...

The new version the interface is slightly different (in 'Advanced mode' or 'Manufacturer mode') but otherwise pretty much the same.

I did a factory reset of the Inbox via Escribe. Setup my profiles and materials, left alone all the settings for cutoff voltage and amp drain settings. The default cel cutoff for 18650 was already set at 2.75v.

I then put in one of the older LG HG2 cells, and tried 4 different atomizers on it, all with different resistance coils, 2x SS316L and 2x Kanthal. Vaping on it maybe 40 mins now.

Lo and behold, I'm not getting the flashing battery icon any more, all the way up to 30w.

If it stays like this, I will consider it solved and the issue due to a glitch in the firmware that was cured either by the new version of Escribe pushing the settings differently/better, or that something inside the Inbox where the firmware was saved got corrupted, either some flash storage or an EEPROM chip...

If the issue arises again, I will definitely open a support ticket with Evolv, but for now, fingers crossed.

Thanks ever so much to everyone that offered help, advice and suggestions. I truly appreciate the support, and wanted to say that I think we have a great group of folks here in this thread.

Old school-ish, came out just right: dual Ni80, 28g, for 0.4 ohms.
Perfect! And a new squishy bottle for the Woodvil.
Maker is an oddball RDA - Air from the top is chanelled halfway down the chamber, aimed at outer edge of coils - I like it.
