New coil, no flavor coming through

I started vaping around 3 weeks ago and got the smok majesty 22w mod starter kit. The first coil it came with was amazing. It was the x-baby Q2 .4 ohms. Everything was great. Last night I noticed it tasted a little burnt so I figured I would switch the coils to the other one that came with my kit.

I put in the new coil which is an x-baby t6
.2 ohms. I noticed I had to turn the wattage up considerably to get the right feel, but what I also noticed is that I'm not getting ANY flavor....?!?! It just tastes like bland vapor.

Can this happen with different coils? Anyone else experience this? Does it have anything to do with the ohms? Will it go back to normal if I buy more of the first coils and install them? This is just so weird to me. This juice had a lot of flavor before, and now.....nothing.

Welcome to VU megsnd. To answer your question, yes the coil choice with those can absolutely affect the final flavor. Some of them are meant for chasing flavors and others for chasing clouds and somewhere in between.

Thank you! That helped a lot and explains why the flavor is so different. I increased my wattage and I'm finally getting some flavor from it but not what I'm used to from the Q2. I'll have to pick up some more of those coils for the future. Who knew there was so much to learn with all this vape stuff

Congratulations! Hm, it's been roughly six months now since I last sneaked two drags off a cigarette. Gave the cigarette to my father in law after I got those drags. He looked at me with a grin. "Good to see you finally do that," he said.

Been rough for me walking away from thirty five years of about half a pack to a pack a day habit. Think I finally have but not going to beat myself up if I still on odd occasion feel like a drag or two off someone's smoke.

With the Baby Best coils I tried the Q2, X4 and the T6 or 8?? Went back to the X4 because in my opinion they are the best flavor for my style of vaping.

This month is 4 years since I quit smoking Cold Fucking Turkey~! Woo Hoo??

Big congratulations. 18 days is huuuuge considering how many of the death sticks can get sucked down in a single day. Stay with it and give two big middle fingers to big tobacco and big pharma.

In my humble opinion once you get passed that first 2 weeks the rest is easy.

2 1/2 years here with a single puff after 3 months. Just because I had to know how bad they would taste.. it was actually worse than the first time I smoked. OMG i get nightmares still. When you dream you are smoking and wake up still tasting it. GOD!

That was in part why I sneaked my drags. Another part was just coping with life & stress in general. IRC, we had gotten rather busy with work in the firewood and my wife's brother-in-law had been an a-hole. Him being an a-hole wasn't surprising but he had kind of taken it a little more beyond the usual pale.

I had gotten word about my one brother being addicted on m*th and just was not quite all together in a mood to deal with a-hole. My mind had gotten a little out of what we were doing, ergo I kind of foggily missed a cue to move a log. So her bro-in-law figured it was up to him to chide and scold me.

Me, being not keen to deal with it just stayed quiet. Later her dad went to fire up a smoke. I asked him to let me light him up and maybe bum one from him. Me and him had spoken just a little and so, he knew what was in my mind and how I was processing everything.

I think most anyone reading can infer that, if not then maybe I'm not the one with mental health issues.</note to moderators/staff>

At any given life keeps moving. By the way you had mentioned hugs leading to all kinds of various unintended possibilities. You're correct that they can. I think I'm now preggers from giving you hugs. *chuckles* I've been having weird cravings for split pea soup with squid. My wife isn't sure what to make of it.

By the way... my buddy I bummed the drag off laughed when I choked on the smoke. He stopped laughing when I let him hit my RDA at 200W on a cloud build. Muwhahahahahaaaaaa...
