Can someone guide me

I have asked countless people look endlessly and still have no answer to the real answer.
I have celiacs desease and pretty sensitive to gluten...
I need to know if any flavorings used in e juice could contain gluten..
If so what flavorings would i want to avoid..
And or what flavoring companys would i want to avoid or use...
Im not a vet. Vaper just getting started to use cbd..
I have encountered one vape juice that makes me a slight bit ill and thats transistor galactic milk.. Awsome stuff but if it gets me sick i canr use it.. And its 0 nic.
Any help would be awsome thanks in advance...

I highly doubt there is gluten in any juice or flavoring

I too have Celiac disease and have been vaping five years

Some people are very sensitive to PG or VG - rarely both

A small minority also show weird reactions to certain flavors - it is hit and miss though on which flavorings and the cause of the reaction.

It's something folks generally have to find for themselves by trial and error

Your best bet would be to mix your own juice so you know what’s in it. Other than that call or email the makers of any juice you’re interested in before purchase. I’ve never looked into gluten but I can’t inagine it being in a lot of juices but what do I know.

Gluten is a protein which is typically created from wetting wheat flour. There is none of that in ejuice.

There is alchols made with wheat... And depending on the distalation process...
So if any of the flavorings is made with those its possable to get a reaction...
Im so glad im getting some answers...
Id love to keep this going for others..
But would like to thank you all...

VG is sugar alcohol derived from palm or soy - most of us who DIY use palm

PG is derived from petroleum

The flavorings with alcohol are not distilled spirits from grains

PG is derived from petroleum

Sorry not true.....................

PG was used commercially well before the invention of the first e-cig. PG is an organic solvent (meaning it is naturally-occurring) and is colorless, odorless and clear, and has a faintly sweet taste. You can find PG in a lot of the food and hygiene products that are likely sitting around your home right now

It's petroleum based

"PG is a synthetic product obtained from the hydration of propylene oxide, which is derived from petroleum products."

Biobased PG has the same chemical make-up as petroleum-derived PG, but is produced from renewable, low-carbon feedstocks, such as sugar alcohols from corn, sugar cane, soy or sunflowers.

Welcome to VU Inkfreak. No Gluten in eliquids and the juice you had sounds like 44lbs of sweetener.Could the sweetener have made you green around the gills?

I've also seen some VG made from beets and it seems viable to make it from them. Not sure I would want to try VG made from potatoes though. So much starch in potatoes, it might all turn into glucose.

Apologies, self edited. What I had posted was a bit low end humor & didn't contribute to the thread's subject matter. I concur. It is very unlikely e-juice contains gluten.

Still trying to convert human derived methane into viable fuel, as in flatulence injected into an automobile's fuel tank.

I think they were doing research into that but ran into a couple problems. One I believe was not enough energy produced per fart to be a viable fuel source. I will see if I can find the article when I have a chance.

you may be having a reaction to nicotine / nightshades. but before you jump down that rabbit hole consider cutting your nic level,, and if that has no impact you can try avoiding dairy products.

glutens, sugars, nightshades and dairy seem to be the most common 'triggers'

hope you find your trigger soon

you may be having a reaction to nicotine / nightshades.

Solanum melongena, or the commonly known eggplant is a relative of Atropa belladonna or that commonly called deadly nightshade. The family of plants also includes tomatoes, potatoes, and aubergine. This was one those which upon taking an interest in herbs, I was guided to know more about with some haste lending to caution.

Another was digitalis purpurea also commonly known as foxglove. Foxglove was given for centuries as a tea to patients suffering ailments of the heart by the witta or wicca. Modern medicine finally caught up when it was realize that foxglove contained the right amount of chemicals in the right combination to effect treatment.

This is not to say to go out and drink foxglove tea right away if you suffer heart problems. Consult a physician first, what I post here is simply personal anecdotes and knowledge from research. It is not valid medical advice.Digitalis or foxglove can be quite deadly if you go mucking about with it, without having adequate knowledge and experience, even then many still avoid mucking about. I stress, consult a physician or licensed medical health professional before reading and using any medical type of advice from the Internet & Web.

@kross8, I know you're aware of all the standard disclaimers and having common sense to be careful. I'm directing the last paragraph to those who may not.

A third was castor which produces one of the most deadly toxins on Earth, ricin. Ricin can go undetected unless a medical examiner knows specifically to look for it, symptoms may resemble typical cardiac arrest. Ricin is odorless, tasteless. A once infamous method of administering it was to lace a shot glass with it and let the targeted party enjoy a shot of Scotch as the Scotch. It was also sent via postal mail inside envelopes to some U.S. Senators a few years ago. Oddly, the week before that I was reading up more on its toxicology over the Web / Internet for use in a fictional story plot. Suffice it say that story fell by the wayside.

Also, so it's clarified, I am not advocating anyone go tra la laing around and start a murdering spree using Ricin, nor inciting that. I'm merely presenting information based upon research. Trust me, if you do go doing such, those who need know will know to find you immediately. I say this from knowing two important facts. 1. The N.S.A, F.B.I, C.I.A and likely a dozen or so other acronym agencies do monitor my communications, what i look at on television, what I listen to on the radio. 2. They monitor this site as well as any Internet & Web communications I use/make, unless of course I encrypt it with AES encryption and add my own randomly chosen cipher as well, even then I'm sure they likely read my thoughts. No, this is not paranoid delusion either. My wife can attest to it and not because she's my wife. She has seen it.

Francis Bacon says it well, "knowledge is power." This is in part why I am so, ... interesting to these types. I enjoy learning, enjoy gaining knowledge, then forgetting it. *chuckles* It is said no one knows about me. That saying is indeed true, I don't even know about me. Excuse me, I was never here. :)
