But when I start matching my drip tip to my hair bow, someone call the authorities please.
We'll call the fashion police first! Since you don't want to spend your time fiddlin' with coil builds, do yourself a favor and get a MF bridge full kit for the BB. 0.5 ohm EUC coils for DL, or 1.3 ohm EUC coils for MTL. I like them so much, I put one in each BB I own.

From dry hit to leak. Lol gotta love the insider. May be my fault though. Had half a tank to check for wicking. Everything was good then I decided to top off the boro. Leaked after that. Did I open the vacuum sealer and that's why it leaked?cleaned everything up and now it sits on a paper towel checking for drippage

I never had the patience to keep trying to find the sweet spot for the Insider. I gave up on it.

Sorry you are having issues, but other than what I said in a previous post, I have nothing else to add.

Anybody here have experience with the Mi-Pod?

Tightness/openness of the draw (compared to what you are using in the BB [or otherwise] for context) and reliability are what I was looking for...

I am so confused now.

BB is fine, but I feel like I am still chasing something and cant put my finger on it.

Are you looking for DL or MTL? I'd suggest either getting an A-Tank and the EUC coils with the Atlantis compatible sleeve for DL. If MTL is what you're after, I'd go for the MF Bridge Full Kit and the EUC Drizzle coils.

I've not tried them myself but it seems to be what BB owners are after if they're not rebuilding.

Can someone tag Brew to weigh in on this? (and maybe he'll tell us if he's had any bunk EUCs and how many he's gone through!)

I think I actually have it now. I believe the leak was my fault. Opening the glass was a no no. Lol wicking and no leaks. Just gotta remember I can't chain vape it

Thanks for the reply.

Looking for a restricted DTL or open MTL, that sort of 'middle-zone'.

I have the A-tank and tried the Triton and Atlantis coils, and found them unsatisfying and either gurgling or dry hits even up to 50w, regardless of juice ratio from 50/50 all the way to 80VG.

The 0.7 Ohm 'Nautilus 2' coils are 'almost' there, as are the 'Kanger SSOCC' 1.2 Ohm coils, but just a hair too tight on the draw for me.

The Kanger RBA head is fine, or was fine, but I'm just bored with it now, feel like I'm still chasing something because of the boredom.

Exocet, Insider, VapeShell, Basterd Coil, Triton RTA all built a dozen or more different ways, and only one I was happy with was the Exocet, but IMHO it vapes the same as the Kanger RBA head.

Are there MESH coils that would work in the BB? Maybe the EUC ones have a mesh option?

No mesh coil heads of which I'm aware. Those seem to be pretty huge for th most part and would probably not fit in the Boro width wise.
Give these a go... for $8 and change they could change your life lol! Then the interchangeable cores will run you about $7.99 (plus shipping) per 5 pack stateside.

Dude. Vaporesso CCell .5’s in the A-Tank = Pure magic. Great draw. Just don’t use a high VG juice and they’ll last a month.

Yep if you have an A-Tank and want to lung hit your BB this is the easiest way to get into the EUC coils. If you decide to give a go we'd love to hear your thoughts!

I got some of those. The .5 come with the a-tank adapter. Hoping the 1.3 would work but that's a no-go as Brew stated I believe. Haven't tried the .5 yet but will update in a week or two when the Atlantis coil I just put in goes bad.

I honestly don't know how the 0.5 ohm EUC coils are, I tried the 1.3 ceramic and 1.4 traditional EUC coils with the most restricted draw in the MF MTL kit and stuck with that since it was what I was looking for. There are no Vaporesso MESH coils that would work in the BB, I don't think, the only one I see is 0.18 ohms....
I'm not sure if @troydestroy tried the 0.5 ohm coils in the BB, I think he also has the MF bridge.

Will do my man. In the cart. The CCell’s are gonna be a tough act to follow, Tom Buckley from BBBay swears by these too (he’s a top dude btw, sent me some juice when I was in the UK)
Thanks A LOT. This just adds to my Snoopy’s doghouse of a fasttech cart. bring on that damn summer discount code already!

Thanks for the suggestion. However, I'm not comfortable with ceramic in my atomizers.

Reading the MSDS for various materials used in coil heads, tells me that in the event of inhaling ceramic dust, you may end up with lifelong and very serious health problems.

Maybe I am paranoid, but I'd prefer to err on the side of caution and not take the chance.

Well, to each his/her own. It's all good to me.

I have enough health problems as it is (respiratory and otherwise), and I am more cautious than most for what I allow into my body and vaping my own DIY unflavored 100% VG juice is the only outlier right now, so extra care is required in my case.

PG makes me very sick, so I cannot use it. I prefer to avoid ceramic and possible airborne particulates from it, if that makes me paranoid, then I'm ok with that.

No worries brother. I was not offended at all. Just explaining so as to find a solution that works within certain safety parameters for me. Information is power. Sharing as much info as I can...

I appreciate your reply here and reaching out. Sarcasm is fine. Please carry on as normal :)

I am in the same boat as Jmoney...if the MF bridge ends up being the shiznat...the rest of my attys are gonners...even the well wicked and coiled Insider I am truly enjoying right now...cause I already know...I'll go to rewick it and it will vape like shit lol

But seriously, the MF bridge is the BB's last chance for me... if it fails... I already ordered the RTAs and Mech...really want one of those Satburns ;) or a Brushed Nemesis...but those things are nearly $200 now lol

Nemmies still cost that much? Figured after the bubble burst on the whole tube mech trend they'd be cheaper. Or is it retro and that's why it's retained it's value?

Shipping and them charging VAT when you're not supposed to be... so there is an additional $59 tacked on...

$191, close enough to $200 ;)

Not necessarily retro...but somewhat true.

Nemesis mechs still hold their own to modern 18650s in total voltage drop, with the added feature of being able to run them in 350/500 modes.

Heck the short 350s are making a come back mostly due to higher rated 350 batteries...even CompLyfe is making them... which baffles me... for the top rated 350 is only a 10a/1100mAh by mooch, which doesn't seem all to good for the Cloud Crew...but for me on a Skyline RTA or KF5...more than enough...

30w vaping is where I am at on squonks, and 15-20ish on the BB ;)

The ceramic EUC .5ohm is an airy DL to me. Similar to. 9ohm CCell in a-tank. Much looser than .7ohm Nautilus. Don't recall Kanger enough to contrast or compare. Hope that helps!

I gotta tell you guys (and gals too), the MF bridge is the end-all for my idea of MTL vape. The BB was purchased with MTL in mind ( all three of them) and now I'm a happy camper. The MyBlu put another bee in my bonnet so I ended up buying a JustFog c601 and a Minifit. Not bad for what they are, but the BB rules for MTL.

Hello all I am new to this forum and just picked up the sxk dna 60 billet box. I am using the insider and I can say this is a fantastic vape. I had to much cotton the 1st time with high vg and I was getting burnt taste. Then decided to rewick and cut the wick on a angle so just the points are laying in the wick wells and this is damn near perfect vape. Very well built and very pocket friendly. Btw I am running ss316 Clapton at 1 ohm 2.5 mm . I am new with the billet box and tips would be great on fighting up the draw a little more.

Welcome to the nut house...

I recently did a wicking pictorial of the Insider, but it seems you're banging away just fine.

If you're referring to making it more Mouth to Lung...depending on which Insider you have ( Mouth to Lung or Direct Lung Version ) there is only the dial for the AF to adjust, and plugging the air vents on the side of the BB itself with your fingers when you inhale.

If this is not what you were asking...then, umm... Bananas

WELCOME TO THE NUT HOUSE! lol

Thanks for the response guys. I'm usually a MTL type so I guess plugging some of the air holes on the side will do it. I also ordered a moisture plug from one of the guys on this forum and he said it was MTL so hoping that will help. I did turn down the air control ring but I still got some playing to do but otherwise this thing is fucking great and wicking like a champ.

The SXK Insider is the DL version unfortunately...you can bring it down to a nice restricted DL...but it wont ever do MTL... the Plugs to go under the boro can help, but know that with the Insider and whatever plug you get, you wont be able to use the AF Dial anymore...

There is another way... involves using Heat Shrink tubing... but you can cover the air ports on the Insider (near the 510 connection) then cut out the amount of air you want going into it... Generic for sure... but it works.

I was actually reading someone using a piece of a straw to do the trick. But to be honest holding some of the air holes on the side is actually giving me a perfect vape. What kind of coils is everyone running if the have a insider . Looking for something for a little more flavor . I am so used to my kayfun prime, its definitely close but maybe it might be the coil. I don't do the fruits or sweets more of tobacco's. Glad to be in the crazy house btw lol.. Thanks again for all the info

Honestly, simple 3mm 5 wrap spaced 26g Kanthal has worked for me each time... .77 can add another wrap for .85ish

I've built Micro Aliens and Fused for it, but always has some dry hits...so I stick the simple wire in and enjoy.

So I just got a message from FT telling me that the RPG SXKUSBBB should be in stock on 8/18. Not a big deal for me seeing as I have a black one that's my daily driver. Just annoyed that I had to contact them when I had an order placed already... I must be the only one lol!

That being said if anyone needs to contact FT I would definitely recommend getting in touch with them via FB Messenger if you can. They respond much quicker but it's usually between 11:00pm to 6:30am EST. It's almost like talking to someone in real time!
