Hi All, Anthony Vapes back here with my review of the Rincoe Ceto Pod Kit, please see the bottom for disclaimers and links

Introduction:
The Rincoe Ceto is the first device from new vape company rincoe. Not that it’s either here or there but as many of you might remember bear from smoant around here, well he works for them now as well as another smoant rep. For their first device they went with a pod system which is quite popular these days so hard to blame them but also have a Manto Kit coming out with the Manto Mod and Metis Tank. The ceto is available in 5 colors Black, Gold, Rainbow, Blue and silver but they are all mostly black with a small color trim and a carbon fibre plate on one side. I seem them online for around 20-22 USD which is a good price.

Kit Rundown
The Rincoe Ceto a flat short style AIO (all in one) Pod kit, meaning there isn’t a separate mod or tank that can be used with anything else. It does have replaceable pods so you can carry spares , and is styled similar to the kado stealth. It’s really small though and very easy to pocket and carry around. There is not adjustable air on this device. It has a good capacity of 2 ml and barely uses much juice at all. The battery is listed at 370 mah so a good size for such a small Pod device like this. It features built in USB charging listed at .5 amps and charges in about 60 minutes, which is pretty good all things considered. It also features Pass Through Vaping while charging. The drip tip is proprietary and part of the pod but unlike the kado stealth which felt like the hole was on the wrong side, this one has the hole on the right side and feels much better to use. The device has a carbon fibre accent on one side and the the side is a glossy black which can be a fingerprint magnet

The Pod itself is really easy to fill. It comes with an empty pod and the pod includes the coils built in as well so you can’t change coils in the pod like a breeze 2 for example. One of my favorite things about this is the pods are magnetic so they are easy to remove and stay in place perfectly. I think that’s a great design. It’s just as easy as removing a magnetic backplate battery door. To fill them there is a rubber plug on the bottom that you pop out and the fill hole is a decent size but needs a fine point bottle. The twist tops won’t work well but a glass dripper fits in fine. The pods are tinted as well which can make it a little hard to see the juice. I would have preferred no tint ot a lighter tint personally but since the pod is almost fully exposed as the top part of the device it’s not too difficult to see like it would be with a little cut out window.

Usage is pretty easy. There are no buttons on the device and no on or off. You just inhale to vape. Not much to discuss there. There is 1 LED on the Rincoe Ceto as well. It’s a small pinhole one above the USB port. The light is on when taking a puff and if it’s blue that means there is a 30% or more charge. When it dips below 30% the light turns reds. I would have liked maybe 1 more stage for a high, medium, and low but it’s decent enough. When it turns red time to think about charging it. When charging the device it works the same way. It’ll flash red at under 30% and flash blue over 30%. When charging is completely it’ll just stay lit blue with no flashing. The device has constant output of 3.3V so you get the same puff from a full charge that you would at a low charge which means it operates at around 8-8.5 watts. One more thing to note, the manual lists some protections and such. Short circuit, Low voltage, over vaping, and overcharging protection.

Coil Performance and details
The Rincoe ceto only has 1 coil option which is built into the pods. It’s a 1.3 ohm coil that runs at around 8-8.5 watts. It only comes with one pod so i wish they included a spare. In the manual it states to replace your pod ever 5 fill ups (10ml). My first pod i used always felt kinda off. It vaped ok at times and other times not so much. Sometimes it would misfire and blink like a short. It took a long time to break in as well and started with a funny taste. After 10ml it was barely firing so i decided it was time to try a new pod as they sent me a spare. I wasn’t impressed with the device as a whole at this point. So i loaded up pod 2 and it’s been night and day. I’ve ran 16ml through it already with no issues. Flavor is good for a pod system, better than most of the one’s i’ve had. No misfires, break in was only a few puffs so very minimal and i can chain vape it as well. I used all 50-55% VG nic salt juices 24-30 mg nicotine. It gave me no issues it was like a whole different device. Coil QC is sadly an industry wide problem with any premade coils so it’s kinda expected but the good ones are really good and the bad ones not so much

Pros:
  • color options
  • good 2 ml capacity
  • passthrough vaping
  • easily removable pods
  • easy to refill
  • good build quality
  • nice looks
  • small size for easy portability
  • good flavor and coil life for a pod system
  • autodraw works great
  • fast enough charging
  • good battery size for such a small device
  • price point (around 20 USD)
  • consistent output
  • fast charging (a little under 1 hour)
Cons:
  • coil QC could be better
  • fingerprint magnet
  • pod is tinted a bit too much making juice level harder to see then it should be
  • only one pod comes included (should always include a spare)
Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend this POD AIO or not? I don’t like to do a hard yes or no, but this one i’m going to lean towards the yes. It’s a slightly better version of the kado stealth. It doesn't have the after sizzle some people didn't’ like on the stealth and it fires a more consistent puff due to the low power consistent output and the mouthpiece feels on the right side. For this style of pod it’s a great choice for sure and i’ll add it to my list. I just hope they improve coil QC but i can say the same about every company out there.

This is Anthony Vapes just keeping it honest, hopefully you all can say the same and i’ll catch you on my next review.
