The Drop Solo is the latest in single coil RDA's to hit the market.

The Drop size really isn't what one would expect, measuring in at 24mm tall by 22mm in diameter. When you first open the box it does give the look of a miniature Drop, but with the same design and looks, just smaller.

The current colors available are SS, Black, and Gold. So, the clear or PMMA portion will be tinted accordingly. The Drop Solo sent to me was SS so the DT and PMMA portion is Clear.
For those that have not hear of PMMA(polymethyl methacrylate) is a transparent thermoplastic. Developed initially in 1928, it is a synthetic polymer of methyl methacrylate and is often used as a light-resistant or shatter-resistant alternative to glass.

Inside the box you get:

1 x Allen Key
1 x PMMA Mid Cap
1 x PMMA Top Cap

Above is the side by side comparison between the Drop Solo and the Drop Solo with the PMMA DT, Top, Mid cap, and the base Beauty Ring. The Beauty Ring gives the Drop Solo a cleaner look with you device and will barely show the grooves where the top cap meets the base.
For those who wonder what is the depth of the Juice Well, a very surprising 5mm, yes 5mm.

The Drop Solo pictured above on the Geekvape Aegis Legend which will help give you a perspective on the actual size of the RDA.

The Drop Solo does come, as with its big brother, the mid cap airflow adjustment, 20 holes combined, which can be done by either closing 1, 5, or 11 holes.

With the PMMA section pictured above you can notice that the RDA is shorter and the chamber is a bit smaller. The Flavor with the PMMA section seemed to have a tiny bit more flavor and surprisingly did not get hot while in use. It is also easier to see if your cotton its getting dryer and how much liquid there actually is inside the juice well without having to remove the top cap.

The Drop Solo has a nice raised single postless build deck which could not be easier to work with, which gives you the choice of inserting your coil legs thru the top or bottom, accompanied by to large flat head grub screws makes this RDA great for beginners, well, and for those of us who have stripped out many other types of heads.

The performance with the single 0.35 clapton was surprisingly good, using different mixes of liquid(80/20, 70/30, and 50/50) accompanied by the 5mm deep juice well, I didn't find myself having to worry about the cotton drying out after 2 puffs. The airflow is a tiny bit restrictive compared to its big brother but the flavor I found to be spot on, even starting my wattage out at 40w all the way up to 60w. The sweet spot I found with this coil was around 55w, plenty of flavor and just the right amount of vapor production.

Overall I am impressed with the Drop Solo for it being a single coil RDA, especially for the size, the 5mm deep juice well, and the optional PMMA sections, which make it shorter without compromising flavor.
If you are looking for a single coil dripper that is easy to build on, has good flavor and vapor production you may want to check this one out, but if you are the type of vaper looking massive cloud production this may not be the RDA for you.

I hope you have enjoyed this review of the Drop Solo RDA and I thank you for taking time to read it.

As always, Vape Safe and Vape Happy,
