Hi All, Anthony Vapes back here with my review of the Vapefly Wormhole RDA, please see the bottom for disclaimers and links
Introduction:
The Wormhole RDA is the latest RDA from underrated vape manufacturer Vapefly. It’s named the wormhole in honor of stephen hawking which to me makes no sense. He didn’t vape as far as i’m aware of and i doubt his fans care about vaping. But that’s all i’ll comment on that in my review today. It’s a dual coil RDA with a clamp deck and tons of airflow options and can be used as a single coil RDA as well. It’s available in 3 colors SS, Black, and Gold. It’s available online in the 25-40 dollar price range.

Initial Impressions and features
When I first got this RDA I found it pretty interesting. There are a ton of airflow options, probably more than i seen on any DTL RDA out there. It’s best suited for dual coils but can be used as single coil as well as the air options are there for it. I really liked the look of the PMMA top cap and matching 810 tip. On the SS one i have it’s clear while the black has a matching black one and the gold has an ultem colored one. Gives it a very unique look and makes it great for dissipating heat so no hot lips. It also doubles as an air adjust. The build deck looks fancy but is really just a clamp deck with a built in adjustable airflow on it. Wasn’t really sure what to think from the start other than it looks cool and unique.
Build Deck and Wicking (pics above)
Let’s talk about the build deck now. It’s made primarily for dual coils, however you can install a single coil if you wanted to as the air options are there to support it. I’ll go over the air options later though. The deck itself uses a dual clamp system. It’s straight across and not staggered. I’m not sure why, staggered would have been nice. You need to install both coils at the same time as well and with thick wires it can be hard to get to the leads to clip them. Not an issue with regulate round wires and such. The post screws are good quality flat head grub screws and the clamps are screwed into them. It’s 1 screw per clamp. If you unscrew the post screws too much the clamps will fall out so be careful. They don’t include spare clamps either. You just throw them both in there and tighten once screw at a time. It’s not an easy deck to build on. You can fit max 3mm ID, i wouldn’t go bigger but with a low number of wraps you could. Not an easy deck to build on and it’s a little tight in there. I’d say it’s fine for advanced builders. Intermediate builders may get frustrated and beginners shouldn't bother with it
Wicking is pretty easy as well, just drop it down the sides into the deep juice well. It’s an RDA so no tips or tricks needed. You’ll either drip or squonk on it.
Performance
Performance wise, I used it as a Dual coil RDA only. I ran 5 builds in this uses tone of air options on each. The 2 above, 2 other fancy coil builds, and one more simple round wire (22 Gauge 3mm ID 8 wraps). All Builds 2.5mm-3.5mm ID. I recommend doing 2.5-3mm i felt 3mm was the sweet spot for this RDA. it’s an interesting RDA. it performs well with the right air combinations. The 2 i found to be the best is either a medium build (the smaller one pictured above) with the middle airflow closed using side airflow only or with a huge build (larger one pictured above) with the middle air wide open and the restrictor removed and side air. Overall flavor can be really good when built correctly and just decent when not. It’s not made for a large ID coil but is made for a lot of wraps. It’s really best used with large coils and high watts and air fully open but good for medium watts as well with smaller builds and the side air only.
