Hi everyone, I'm looking for a smaller mod to carry with me at work. Even tho my RX gen 3 is already quite small I am looking for something even more compact that will easily fit in my pocket. I use crown 3 tanks, .05 ohms at 75 watts. Just got the P80 and am not thrilled with it's build quality. Would like something more durable, possibly AF compatible or at least good software.

Honestly, if you only need a VW mod, just get the Noisy Cricket II-25... adjust your build to use it...dual battery mod though...no screen...but would more than be durable, plus they are fairly cheap.

Going to assume you meant .50 and not .05 on that RTA ;) ... Didn't even think the Wismec Gen whatever would fire at .05.

Anyhoo...food for thought.

True, but it's pocketable and durable - affordable - and 75w is no issue on it.

All that room you are going to save by having a single battery mod is going to be refilled with a new need to carry more batteries. IMO at that wattage on a single cell isn't going to carry you very far.

I regularly use my little Evic Mini's. They work as advertised and the firmware is hackable.

I know that a single battery won't run long. The thing is with me working construction it has to stay on me. I tried the breeze and breeze 2. Neither did it for me.

Breeze and Breeze 2 don't give ya the clouds sensation from vaping, but it sure would give you the nic fix if you ran them with salts...

I still think the NC2-25 is a solid bet for working in construction...but paired with a RDA and a 30ml bottle of juice to drip.

Only prob is I don't build coils. I'm an electrician and I'm am avoiding anything that requires building. I know myself and will obsess over it.

I’m an EE, I know what you mean by obsess over the building. However, from a vape perspective, there is no substitute for me.

If you have to have single battery. Might I suggest something that runs the 20700 or 21700, you’ll be thankful for the increased run time.
Something along these lines

With both of these you can run an 18650, 20700 or 21700.
You can start with the 18650s you have and always go up to a single 21700 or 20700 with it later to add runtime without needing to carry around an extra cell or girthier mod.

I wanted small for work. Something that would hold up, do the job, not cost a lot, easy to replace. Went with Eleaf Invoke 200w .
Not much taller/wider than side by side 18650's.

The Vaporesso Armour Pro is a new single battery that has just come out. I don’t have it so I can’t give you personal perspective but it looks really promising. Vaporesso makes some really good mods so it’s likely that trend will continue with this mod. It’s pretty light, pretty small, and pretty. It also has options for batteries. It can use the 18650, 20700, and the 21700. Best of luck to you, I hope you choose a good one.

The Invoke is pretty tiny, I can see the battery door coming apart after one drop or pocket hit, though... You could duck tape the battery door on though lol, it's shorter than even most 1 battery mods, so it's a good choice

The Joyetech Espion is a little tougher and just a hair bigger

You don't have to build! That mod is small and powerful and tough, just pop your Crown 3 on it and you're good

75 watts on a one battery mod will get you through your lunch break, but then what

First Meg your name has me rolling

I checked out both of those I agree the eleaf door looks rather under engineered. The espion looks similar in size to a predator or captain. Guess I need to be open to a 2 battery mod

Two batteries makes the mod pretty heavy..
I have a Revenger X and its damn heavy.. thought it was tucked in my safety vest velcroed up and all.. bent over to grab something and the thing slid out on the pavement.
