He wont like a revvo. It would be too much for him based on his mtl preference. I'm using one right now and can confirm. I would suggest getting him an mtl tank... zenith, nautilus, nicholas, and use a single battery smaller mod to run it. Squonking just isn't made for him as the options are limited to get a tootle proofing prebuilt squonking attie. If he can get into building then he has options, but until then there just isn't much out there for him. He seems like a pod system candidate if you ask me...

The coils need about 80W to come alive, so he'll need a dual battery mod at least. The Revvo is a novelty tank (ARC coils), it's just a juice burner with a mediocre flavor, we don't sell very many of them. Now the Uwell Nunchaku is another story, can't keep them in stock.
Yeah. I'm afraid he doesn't have enough focus to do his own builds, even if I could get the coils he needs. I'd still have to build for him. I'll do some more checking around, and see if I can find what he will need
I don't mean to be a dick, but this lack of "focus" sounds medical.
Mind you, I am already deep into bifocals and avoiding trifocals, supposedly getting cataracts, and both hands are developing the same issues with different fingers that sure as hell feel like arthritis. (I still build and install all my own coils, and periodically even wind a clapton in anger). This affects my capabilities in rebuilding, gunsmithing, reloading, etc.. I still manage to persevere, (but I admit I am getting old enough I may PIF my assorted tools to nephews/nieces)
Well I finally decided on the SXK KRMA for the Luxotic and the YFTK Mazarin for shits and giggles. The Mazarin comes with 2 decks and will be fun to play with vertical coils again, shades of my old Origin V2.
He has ADHD. I did find some fused clapon wire with 2.3 ohms of resistance on Fasttech. Considering his preferences, he'll want that on an iJoy Combo. If that will make him happy, that's great. I don't want him smoking again. That shit stinks!
We both wear bifocals. Mine are no line. I am used to fixing jewelry. I have the dexterity and the focus.
I PIF'd a Smok Big Baby Beast to him for his non-squonk mods. Not sure how much he might use it, but when his clearomizers run out of coils, he won't have much choice.

Really can't recommend those types of coils from FT for many, many reasons
He'd likely do best with regular coils for tootle puffing - as a tootle puffer myself, any type of Clapton is likely going to be too much if he is still using clearos

If you want a squonker for a new vaper, you need a tighter draw, and simple build.

I'm using the Rose III (authentic) at work today, while I love it as MTL, really had to work it to make it flavorful
Even the authentic Rose Trillum is affordable, think it was under $50, but with Sarah's man saying funk paying for the one linked from VapinArt, figured this might be more up his alley <$12
And we all know we get more flavor from atty's which we can build to suit our vaping style...but those .9 cCell coils, I use those in my BilletBox and I'd say its 85% of what I would expect out of an RSA flavor wise, and I use them between 18-21w

I think it might be a V1.2...a modmaker 510 was a direct replacement without having to drill or cut anything out according to the current owner.
Has 24g silver battery contacts and comes with all the original contacts, 510, and contact screw set etc...3 different doors as well...battery was said to be slightly tight but if I don't like it I'll just get 26g silver contacts and fix it.

Got my L'Octopus and Purge mods today at work..got an extra door with the octopus as a bonus...that purge mod is nice...I'll get pics up later...looking forward to trying the B2k RSA that came with the octopus as well...Oh and a huge 120ml bottle of French dude french toast juice (un opened) I got with the purge.

I was thinking about that today, BUT didn't do it.....
So just took delivery of a fastech parcel with a few spares etc and also a couple of these Dwarv tips ... I'm seriously impressed at just how comfortable they are, also enough restriction to make my regular 0.5ohm builds really sing

My entheon st clone finally came in form fasttech, my forwarder had misplaced the shipment.
The squonk pin doesnt work, grrrrr. Its a tab shorter and the threads are messed up. Tried using dnetal floss to thread it but mods can’t read it.
Any idea where to get a pin, or should I just buy another one?
Frustrating, given purchases take so long to get to me.

I had the same problem. I used an extra pin that is the same size as a goon pin. Not sure of the measurements. It didn’t really work either. Resistance kept jumping around. The threads just aren’t cut deep enough. I would suggest just getting a refund or store credit and find something else.

I avoid ST (Steam Tribe) products, they are the junkiest of all the clones IMHO. If you want to go through the hassle you can get Fasttech to send you another pin or a refund. It will take quite a few support tickets and a bit of time and perseverance. They will eventually cave in and give you a complete refund without having to send back the defective product, they always try with the $2 credit BS first though.
Oh man that looks sexy AF.

So a bit of follow-up on the Basic RDA. I spent a lot more time, builds, and juice with it and here is what I found:
Coil placement is definitely best so the airflow is below or close to below the coil. Flavor changes a fair bit as a result. However, it still struggles on dessert and more nuanced flavors. They end up muted. Even running strong single-note dessert flavors like straight custard, I noticed them being a bit muted. Single-note or simple candy/fruit flavors did much better.
The AFC-ish top disk has a pretty big impact on flavor. Since it is hard to align, it can be a bit of a pain, similarly the whole top cap isn't easy to know if it is properly aligned. I wish there were notches to align like the Pulse (never thought I'd use the Pulse in a positive comment). I had the best luck on the Pico Squeeze with simple .3ohm round wire spaced. I think the issue with complex flavors and muted flavors is all down to the top airflow. It is a shame because EVERYTHING else about it is amazing. Impossible to over-squonk, leak, no spitback, etc.
If anyone else has one or gets one, I'd love to hear what your experience is with it. Especially dessert flavors and builds/placement.

I got an Entheon pin from psyclone mods. It was a hadaly pin but it fits and works. Checked the pin from a clone hadaly into authentic Entheon before I purchased.7 bucks plus same for shipping. But it is an option. I just went that route because it was fast and direct with hoping. I got some Entheon pins from fasttech and they we're wrong. Figures
