Help with Wasp Nano Build

tried using steam engine however everytime I build what they say my readings are not even close. I am just looking for a single coil build with n80. Preferably naked single wire or twisted. I dont have the right building materials to make claptons and try aliens atm. Also tried so many dual coil builds in my drop. Readings were all over the place. I was building in that thing for hours and eventually gave up and just put a build in it with some premade juggernaut wire lol.

You could try a parallel coil. What size wire you have? I used to do 26 parallel about 8 wraps.
Also if steam engine doesn't get along with you, you could try the vape tool app on adriod or iPhone. A great app.

26 or 28 works best for me.

So what exactly is the leg length? Is that going to make a huge difference? Are ppl really measuring this while building?
I've never actually measured it. But length of leg from coil to tip I just usually cut the legs long enough for what I need. I don't think the length actually matters measure wise.

Tried a parallel 26g n80 build and vapes great but flavors not as good. Not sure if the flavor with parallel coils isnt the best? I usually use twisted coils. The parallel build came out to .28 which may be the flavor difference since I tend to build slightly lower then that for a warmer vape around .2 ever do a twisted or parallel n80 build in the wasp nano like that? I usually use 3mm ID.

If your coming off on ohms with steam-engine using twisted. It may be the pitch of the twists. I can never get twisted right. Haven't used it in a while

If you post a screenshot of your steam engine set up, I might be able to troubleshoot why it's so off

So 21700 batteries wont be in until tomorrow unfortunetly. Im going to probably try and set up a build in my nano tonight so Ill shoot you the steam engine profile after the build. Probably will do a simple twisted or parallel build. Ill throw some pics of the new 21700 spade up too :) ;)

So I just put a .19 parallel n80 build in the wasp nano and ready to try this 21700 spade out. Just waiting for the battery to finish charging ;)

Yea man it's all in how you like to vape. I like a warm so bigger coils work for me. Sometimes finding the right build sucks. Build, wick, vape repeat with a different build. Lol

Ya I am going to try a .3 build when I get home. I usually like a warmer vape but in the nano I am getting quite a bit of spit back and in the mornings my throat hurts a little bit so maybe .19 is too hot i dunno.

I just built mine for the first time last night and it came out to .47 I'm loving it @ ~35W

I know it's not really helpful for the OP at the moment but I'm using some pre-made wire from Advanced Vape Supply 30g triple core fused clapton. I think it was 7 wraps 3mm ID.

I haven't used an RDA for over a year maybe two because I wasn't happy with anything I'd tried/purchased. This one is a keeper

That's usually what I've got in mine. Between.2 and .3

Ya I put a build in there and must have put an extra wrap by mistake lol. Was aiming for .3 and came out to .34. I am going to rebuild rea quick tonight and hopefully get it right this time around .25-.3 I think that will be the sweet spot for me.

Love the wasp, definitely in my top 3. She has air for days and can hold a beast of a coil. I’ve tried fused claptons, staged fused, etc but my favorite is simple round wire Stainless steel 22g 6 or 7 wraps spaced, around.2 to .24. Simple, easy great flavor and due to less coil mass ramp up is much quicker than some large complex coil.

Don't ever feel like juggs or any exotic coil is where you have to go. Especially because most are horribly made, pre made coils using sub par building materials.

You couldn't go wrong with fused Claptons. Everyone uses them. Including myself. I like framed Staples but that's a different story.

Your using single coil for flavor. Although the juggernaut coil is not one of my favorite builds, the flavor is probably pretty decent compared to a round wire build. It also probably ohms out significantly lower than your parallel builds will. So, your attributing flavor with heat of the build. I tend to agree that with warmth comes an entirely different, sometimes better flavor.

My recommendations are, if you have a drill you can manage fused Claptons. 26, or even 24 x 36. Eventually I'd go up to 40g minimum. 36 will get you there. You don't need swivels to make great fused Claptons. It's nice, but you don't need it.
