Yay!!! More brains! Jump in anytime. I’m gonna mess with mixing in a little bit.....trying to catch up with my life and get my son on the road to LA to start his hopeful film career. A little melancholic today.....

Oof, not to derail, but I wish both he and you luck and good fortune! Going to LA is a massive move, hope he makes it big! As a parent myself, my stomach sinks thinking of sending the little birds off to go be big birds on their own. Hoo boy, I both envy you and dread that I'll be in that position before I know it. You've got people wishing you both well, you may not know these people personally, but well wishes are being sent either way.

Added three drops of coconut to about 11ml of juice and already this is a keeper for me. Like I said, no idea if it's anything like Chef's Nilla Cake, but it's good and I hope will get better over the next week or so. I'm going to finish what's in my tank now and try to let the rest sit for a few days.

I've edited my recipe on the previous page of this thread to reflect the current mix.

Still think banana would be great here, just a smidge.

All this talk of buttery, creamy, vanilla-y cake got me going today. Got together three versions of recipes that sounded like it would match the description, let's see how any of them taste. Hopefully by the end of the day.

Been on a losing streak the past couple weeks, today I ruined an already failing attempt at a cereal fruit loop/pebbles/capt crunch kinda thing by adding a couple drops of FLV marshmallow. Maybe it will take a back seat by morning.

Glad I mixed yesterday.....not much going on today. But.....the more I’m spending time with Nilla Cake, the more I’m convinced there’s a touch of Caps Cake Batter in there....especially by the smell. Hopefully, I can get my act together tomorrow and make v5. Melancholy is not a good motivator.......

I def hit BCF yesterday.....I’ve been curious about tropical flavors recently, too! Diyordie put out that pog clone that @Mykreign posted and now I’m awaiting flavors......

So....I just mixed v5 of Nilla Cake. This one is definitely smelling like it’s heading in the right direction.....hoping the cake batter chills out a bit.......

TFA vanilla cupcake 3%
Caps Cake Batter .5%
Caps French vanilla 2%
FW yellow cake 3%
Caps VWC 1%

Edit.....also....
FA Cookie 1%
Cap super sweet .25%

Double edit.....anyone have any other ideas? Additions? Critiques? Has anyone besides me and @CrazyChef v2.0 tried the OG?

@CrazyChef v2.0.....any input? I might put a smidge of super sweet, just to give it that “commercial”feel.....I’m going to try it tomorrow.

Did the same dang thing with that butter cake idea floating around. I have a feeling it was the TFA Marshmallow, but this bottle is yuck. Dang. Gotta remix without that addition. Or maybe it was something else, I dunno. Hmmmm.

I have everything except the cream soda and the marshmallow, but mixed it anyway, with a sub for the marshmallow. Damn, this is good! Not the OG, but damn! Nonnas Cake is something I would have never tried to use, but what a great idea! Post this in the recipe thread! Yum yum yum!

It smells damn good, but I know I don’t like cake batter fresh, so I’ll give it a go tomorrow. It may need a week to really marry the flavors.

Im in the same boat as you I don’t have the FW Cream Soda & I’ll have to use FA Marshmallow, I do have everything else. I’ll mix some tomorrow.

:hug:Thanks, burley. Tears were shed this morning by both of us, but I know he’s a smart, strong guy and will be just fine. Mama, on the other hand, was mopey today. I gave him roots and wings.....all will be well.

I think I might hold off until I have a chance to mix it without the Cream Soda. As I've vaped through the day today, think the mix might actually be better without it.

So.....I’ve tried it. It’s yummy! Not quite the OG, but heading in the right direction. Sweet, cakey, rich.....Cake Batter there, but not prominent. I might up the cookie a tad, maybe add some butter? Let me know what ya think!

The time after my youngest daughter moved away from home was one of the most difficult times of my life. She had become my shopping/lunches/movies/general craziness buddy, and I just crashed and burned when she left home. Cried for a month. It is so hard letting them go.

Are you concentrating mostly on v5 now? I'm about to order flavors, and would like to mix whichever one you are working with most.
