Narda, you should be able to find a decent clone. It is an outstanding flavor output. If you can also find a clone of the Darang, steller flavor
Im so ocd man and it might sound dumb but I cant bring myself to get / use clones.
I like the CoilArt Mage, bottom airflow, doesnt come with a squonk pin though. But the CoilArt DPRO does, and it fits the Mage. Could probably find a spare squonk pin, and Mage is probably cheap nowadays

http://www.coilart.net/dpro-rda-screw

Mage tastes great but air isn't as smooth as my Templar or Drop - DPRO has good flavor too, but it almost whistles

You have a drop rda? I heard people talking about it but I was hesitant to believe the hype.

It's probably the most convenient RDA I've ever owned

I like it, havent tried a pure flavor build yet (with 2 coils close to the air holes) but it's good enough for me with one coil in the middle - either up top above the posts
IMG_20180519_125125~2.jpg
or low between the posts, with the top air line closed

Very thick clouds for sure, flavor is there but not concentrated, smooth air and perfect o-rings

I understand I'm much like that myself. I only use Clones if

1. Authentic isn't available
2. Evaluation before buying high end Authentic
3. Out of spite for an asshole company

The Narda falls under #1

So I got in my pulse 80w regulated squonk, the templar, and the wasp nano. I put two builds together with the wasp nano on the 80w pulse mod and the templar on my VA spade. Dual twisted 26g 2.5 ID 6 wraps in the templar at about .3 and a Single 26g twisted 3.0 ID 8 wraps at about a .8 Here are the pics. Also any advice if I built these wrong or advice to improve building on these is very appreciated. Would love to use the wasp nano on the spade but have a lot of trouble building low single coil builds for mechs.

Good looking combos.
It's not hard to get a low ohm build on a single coil, just use either 24 or 26 gauge Ni80 wire, parallel 5/6 wraps around 3mm id, comes out to .17-.24 depending on wire gauge.

I run this setup with 24ga Ni80 in my entheon and wasps, always comes out to .16-.17ohms and fires instantly and perfectly on my single battery squonkers.

It's literally the perfect vape for me, I like it hot and with as little ramp up as possible. This isn't too hot and is very flavorful, while also being easy on the battery. I only change change batts once or twice a day, and even then they are still at 3.7-3.9V when I put them on the charger.

That's vaping about 15-20mls on one battery change, better than my dual battery regulated mods running dual coil RDAs.

Using a single parallel coil is the same as using dual single coil build.

In theory, but they vape quite differently, I believe since the wires are touching, sharing heat, and only heating one wick, they really act more like one coil of a larger gauge than they do two separate coils.

Just as in theory twisted wire builds are the same as parallel, but they vape quite differently.

And, how I build my parallel coil, is by taking one long strand of wire and folding it in half before wrapping, therefore ther is technically only one wire used in making the one coil. Semantics I know, but if we are splitting hairs....

If you want to boils only the purest single wire-single coil-low ohm coil, just use 22ga SS in a single wire configuration, it will be low resistance and perform reasonably well.

Actually just put some ni80 aliens in my templar and a single ni80 alien in the wasp nano. Both builds came out to about .18 and .19 however my templar is getting really really hot. Is this normal. Oh and the templar is on the regulated pulse 80w squonker. The spade is hitting hard af now. I dunno if it is from swapping to ni80 or what but damn.

That's a bit of a hot build for the Nano, I'll only but around a 0.3Ω build at the lowest in my Nano, mostly around a 0.4Ω. Also how fat is the wire? I'll use around a 30x2/40 SS fused Clapton.

28/36 for the dual setup in the templar and 26/36 in the nano single coil. I cant use SS it gives me a bad taste.

And I just saw VA put a new spade out that takes a 21700 so I had to order one... I think I have a problem lol ;)

I'd use smaller core wire no larger than 28g, should be fine with 36g, no fatter though. But again it's too hot of a build for a Nano, I wouldn't go any hotter than 0.3Ω, if using Kanthal just go with spaced a 2.5mm coil.

Too hot is subjective, .16ohm is perfect for me on both my nanos, a hadaly, and my entheon.

Just got my drop in as well. Put a dual coil alien build in it. I forget what it ohmed out to. I think it was between .2 and .25 somwhere. Pretty solid flavor. Not sure what I like better between that and the wasp nano. Guess only time will tell as I use both more. :)

Excellent flavor RDA

Super easy to build on too
Also in my somewhat limited, but consistent experience, using several different kinds of cotton, it always takes 15 or 20 hits for the flavor to settle in with new cotton.
