If you want no leaks it's probably best to look at top airflow rtas. Here's a shirt list to give ya something to nibble on.

Single coil top airflow.
1) OBS Engine Nano. Great flavor and do not leak. A bit fickle on the wicking until finding the sweet spot. At one point I had five of these and down to three after giving two to wifey.
2) Geekvape Zeus. Just picked it up not long ago. Better and smoother airflow than the Engine nano but even more fickle than the Engine nano to wick. I'm a big fan of the engine nano but now prefer the Zeus.
3) Asmodus Zesthia. Haven't gotten one yet but I've seen great things said about it. I plan on getting one for sure.
4) Vapefly Horus. Seeing mixed reviews on this but IMHO looks good and would like to get one of these as well.

Dual coil top airflow.
1) OBS Engine 2. Just came out and the reviews so far are looking really good.
2) Digiflavor Themis. Lots of positive reviews on this one.
3) Geekvape Zeus dual coil rta. Just came out and looks alright. IMHO, a poor man's Themis. Would take the Themis over the Zeus dual coil all day every day.

As for MTL. I see alot of good things said about the Vandy vape berserker and berserker mini. Same with the Vapefly galaxies.

Look around and watch some reviews to help you decide what's right for you. :)

Oh man, I'm sorry. I just realized you're looking for 22-23mm rtas. The rtas I listed are 24-25. DoH!

I honestly can't think of any 22-23mm rtas except for the OBS Engine mini dual coil which is 23mm.

I've enjoyed the Geekvape Ammit for a little while now. As long as I've wicked it properly, no leaks, really nice flavor. I like an airy MTL, so it's been perfect for me.

Taifun gt III, Hussar, and even the skyline - the latter is too $$ for me, but the other two are just damned reliable.

Monster v2 clones I have are also acceptable, not sure what a V3 changes.

SXK Doggy Style for MTL. 22mm, 3.5 ml, good flavor, never a leak in 6 months or so of use every day. Bottom airflow like God intended. Got mine from fasttech.

Agreed. I vape mine with the air wide open for a restricted DL, so it does both. Mine have all been foolproof to set up, not leak and not dry hit.

Outstanding Ryedan, never knew it would make a good restricted DTL. I presume you use a wider bore drip tip as well? I don’t care for metal tips so I use narrow bore acrylic or Deleon etc. for MTL on my doggies.

It is pretty versatile David. Then again, I can DL almost anything that's got more airflow than a CE4, it just takes longer . I also prefer plastic DTs to metal.

Max airflow on the Doggy is similar to how I set up the Rose V3 which was my favorite atty until I tried a Doggy. I also really like the Aqua V2. It has less max airflow but I'm still happy DL'ing that. I use 10mm x 15mm DTs like these most of the time on all these. The atty airflow openings are way smaller than the openings on these DTs so the atties limit the airflow. When I use DT's like these I get a bit more heat and TH and I like that sometimes too. These may give me slightly less airflow, but it's close. I'm moving towards these more lately.

22 MTL is easy. Vandy Vape Berserker Mini RTA. No leaks, great flavor, easy to build, easy to wick. DTL is tougher. If you can stand 24mm; the Footoon Aqua Reboot RTA is the best flavor RTA I've ever experienced (and I've got a bunch). It's easy to build, wicking is easy once you get the feel for it, and it doesn't leak.

Serpent Mini or Elfy.
Both pretty good restricted DTL.
Once I get the wicking down, they don't leak a drop.
I think the Serpent is a bit better on flavor than the Elfy (and the Elfy is 23mm).

Is the reboot a dtl? How is the draw on it?

It is a DTL. and it's a tad restrictive because to really milk that awesome flavor out of it, you have to close off the airflow a little.

I haven’t used a tank in years, but can you compare it to say a goon or recoil rda?(in terms of airflow)
Or in comparison to the petri 24 rta?

I don't have any experience with the recoil, unfortunately. But it's more restrictive than the Goon. It's more restrictive than the Petri and flavor is way better. It's the most flavorful RTA I've ever experienced. And I have a ton of RTAs

Well the petri wide open has been the closed thing that I’ve had from a tank that I enjoyed.
The airflow is as important to me as the flavor, I’ll sacrifice a little flavor for the airflow. I was hoping this would vape similar to that one.

have you tried to wickthe nano per the "guy on reddit" method by just laying the wick on top of the juice ports like an rda?

i have a berserker mini and recently got the galaxies mtl. im enjoying the berserker once i got the build right. my wicks last over a week. going to study the builds on the galaxies. was surprised the flavor wasnt at par yet with the berserker. problem should be with my build. id recommend these 2 tanks.

with the berserker, theres a trick in refilling. it seeps a little but no big problem.

guys with berserker mini, do you experience seepage in the airflow holes? i do every once in awhile. not sure whats causing it. positives on the berserker mini, great flavor, easy to build, and i love the size. can adjust the smoke by simply adjusting the airflow. no big diff on flavor. awesome for stealth vaping.

ive set up my galaxies. it has slightly better flavor than the berserker. no seepage so far. only negatives imo, it produces more smoke on smallest airlfow compared to berserker. its a taller tank. whistles when i use bigger airflow. may need to tinker with the cubes provided for airflow at bottom of the coil. this tank performed better with a micro coil than a spaced coil.

both tanks are keepers.

I have the Coppervape Skyline. Great clone. Build quality is actually really good. Everyone says it's got better flavor than the Kayfuns and it's way less expensive. It's both RLH and MTL. It's got different airflow options for each. Flavor is awesome on this. I just wish I could open it up a bit more sometimes but it's great for MTL or a RLH. Just want a regular DL hit sometimes.

Far a 22mm

If you can get your hands on one still the Syntheticloud Aeoulus 2 Pro RDA is a nice flavor atty that has a unique reverse threaded base that doesn't leak:
