My buddy has a tvl bulletproof rda and cannot figure out the tool used to loosen the screws on the build deck posts. At first it looked like a small Allen key, but it was not. Does anyone know?

They may require star bit drivers. These are not Philips head screwdriver but a screwdriver with a star shaped bit. Know it sounds all the same but for whatever odd reason it isn't. Look for drivers labeled in sets as T drivers, think these might be what is needed.

Imho, I'd find a hex that fit close enough and just use it while being careful. Then again, stripping might play a role as a problem going that route. I'm also needing to look into torque drivers or star headed drivers. Got a mod that needs one if I'd ever decide/need to taking it apart.

Possibly y'all might find a little mystic blue screwdriver that has a squared off blunt tip. Look in your little mystic blue screwdriver collection for one of those. It might work for you. Don't tell me you got no little blue mystic screwdrivers. They roam about freely and are taking over the world I think.

Apologies, not intending the above to read sarcastic or belittling.

Those look like Torx bits from the picture I Googled and you can buy a complete set for pretty cheap most places.

Called a Torx driver

I can't tell you what size, somewhere around a T 5 I think

I got one of these, I recommend it for anyone (but from a different website, I hate FT now)

Torx drivers are great because they'll also work in worn-out hex screws. I haven't had to replace any stripped hex screws since I got this set at Christmas
