My order from slowtech has finally made it to the states. In a few days I’ll have my wasp and my entheon clone. I gotta start wrapping coils for them now because somehow that will make them get here faster. I don’t know how but it just will.

Yeah I am perfectly fine... Buying an authentic NarDa going to cost me a fucking ton! :sarcasm: Think I will have to settle for clones my goodness... some dude quoted me $575 for a Dar
Had us worried there for a second... that NarDa is the Frankie of RDAs. Good but is the vape THAT good? I've heard they whistle like a mother.

I'm nearsighted (-1.75 in right & -.75 in left)

went stupid on my first pair (I'm so destroying them in the first week when they come). Though I've always worn my pair of wayfarers for the last decade, thought this would be an interesting change up (actually were looking at this in sunglasses last year till I saw the price)

I've got a couple boxes of decent older frames if you ever want a beater pair. They're a mix of different types from Adidas, Timex and all kinds of others lol.

They whistle like a whole family! I have the air open about 1/3 to 1/4 and it is ok but if you open it more than 1/2.....of course I'm talking about the clones here.

You could buy 5 Odis 16's and have money for double sets of caps....

Hi. Just registered on VU and was wondering If someone could give me their opinion on this. Ordered a black little orca and just wondered if this bottle would fit? The diameter is 17.5mm the same as the mm bottles. Thank you :)

That will depend entirely on what kind of guts are installed in the Orca - MM bottles will fit most, but in some the firing pin will touch to top of the bottle

The one I have whistled the first time I built on it and I stashed it for a few months... few days ago I took it from the desk drawer and built it again...no whistle even when wide open...stuck my CSMNT ultem drip tip on it and I haven't put it away...put 60mls through it already and 3 wicks; I really dig it.

Got some new wire in today... might try and build a fancy Alien for it... like 4 core 30g - 40wrap N80 3mm 4/5 wrap for a smoking .32/.34

Thank you for your answer. Was going for the same setup as this box. Same inner dimensions just going to use 0.5 silver plated copper instead of plain 0.7 copper. :)

Weeeell, lookie here. The authentic is only $100. Been chewing over the idea of getting one for a long while now. Keep coming back to a feeling that if I pay over $25 to $30 for an RDA it's going to need Platinum or 24k Gold somewhere. In other words it'll need to really up the "wow factor". I figure too most of the clones we can find at least meet 50 -70% quality of the authentic. That considered it doesn't seem worth $100 for an authentic NaRDA, at least to me, kind of the same with Reos as well.

I do not mind a slightly inferior product at a lesser cost, especially given these products in general are rather durable. I can buy say 10 NaRDA clones for the price of an authentic, and do a bit of jimmying on them to knock out the whistle, or turn the afc holes sideways and have plenty of naRDAs on hand to last a few lifetimes. :)

My biggest complaint of the moment? I went and done got some blood poisoning, yet again. Darn coil wire pokes my fingers. I'm eventually gonna s--m--a--r--t--e--n up and wear thimbles when doing up builds, or so I tell myself. ;) :)

MSRP might have $100 but you’re never getting one close to that price

That is Hanky Spanky - a Little Orca with silver internals - and I love it to an unnatural degree, lol
That's basicly what Armageddon (and probably lots of others) tried to copy and failed miserably! Why would anyone buy a Armageddon full price when you can get that is beyond my understanding.

Oh yeah, I'll not disagree as folks buy them then their value only increases. You also got vendors coming in and buying up 'runs' and having the company need to keep producing more, further increasing their value by way of limited quantity. There's always bound to be 'bottlenecks', although those can to some degree be mitigated if 'its' done 'right', funny how it is difficult to find that exact 'right' though.

The rda in question though is out of the "norm" in these categories. The prices are flipper prices and no one sells them anywhere close to retail unless it's to a friend and no one ever knows about those transactions. It's become one of those eliteist must have hand check items.

Alright, @The Cromwell I hope these can let you see if I'm doing fair with the 26 awg SS316 parallel building, or not. If I'm not what can I do to improve? The brass Wasp's build is only 9 wraps and that put in at ~ 0.35 ohm according to Steam Engine, the Stainless Wasp is built at 10 wraps, which SE says is ~0.36 ohm or so.

Got no hot legs and they glow from center out in a nice even orange/red glow. The coils are not gunk covered, rather, the stainless steel has annealed itself with the pulsing heat. I just did use a wee bit of space between each wrap too. This genuinely made them into springs in a way. *chuckles* Keeps reminding me of the old Slinky toy.

Yep, there's the 'eliteist' angle as well. Sorry, I just cannot see my way clear to be a *cough* snob *cough* like that. To me it seems to say "hey I got more money than sense/cents/scents and gotta compensate so I buy status crap." Although and again, that's only my humbled opinion and likely not worth rock salt buckshot. :) I can understand the desire to an extent but it's just not for me, then Paris fashion runways aren't either nor are Armani suits and $6,000 leather loafers.

Don't take it the 'wrong' way though. I can walk with Kings and nobles just as easily as walking with the homeless, the common man. People bottom line are people. :)

Bet you never part with Hanky Spanky. :) Know I would not. Well, maybe but only if they had a real desire to get into vaping and needed the help genuinely. Then too, I'd give away the shirt on my back when I wore a shirt. *chuckles* Still, a Hanky Spanky would tough to give up.

"C'mon yer better 'n' this ye old dog, no tears." *sighs* They broke his mold, I'm sure.

No way would I pay Flipper prices on a NarDa...or anything really...I would go 50% above retail though LOL...

I knew going in prices for them would be outrageous...and I am perfectly content with the Clone I have...

So much so, I have 2 more in my FT cart of other wonderful items of want ;) Just waiting on one of their 15% sales to pop up soon.

Wish I had a 'Dar to compare, but yeah... it can remain a leaverite at flipper prices.

Not everyone has the time, skill, tools and/or patience to build their own -

I currently do not have the time to do it right - but have high hopes for next year in that area

Mine was put together by Minimal Saint before the great no-clone conflagration

Did anyone else see that image of the eLeaf Pico Squeeze 2 that was floating around? Looks to be a fully regulated upgrade of the original.

Also, more of a PSA (I'm sure most already know and I'm just late to the party) but the Wasp Nano with the resin top is a bit of a letdown. It just doesn't fit as snugly in the resin and at times is insanely loose when warm. I may try different O-rings to see if I can get a better fit.

A lot of Bonkers seem to feel that was a photoshopped hoax - but hope for such a creature in the future

Mine didn't do that but a lot of others had that problem - pretty hit or miss I guess with the resin

I don't take it the wrong way, I buy things I like. Sometimes those things are expencive and sometimes they're cheap but either way I can normally barely squeeze them in that vape budget lol. Still haven't figured out a way to fit the wasp nano into the vaping budget!

Ive re-wicked my narda clone up again, not used for a month or 2
dont know why i stopped vaping it.
Oh thats right new Atomiser,
Still performs perfectly
No whistling Airflow, there was some posts about just smoothing out the edges a little to take dome of the noisy off, with a round file or sand paper, costs of these authentics flipped is just ridiculous
And there used most of time too, has been some good clones of them sxk started making them again too,

Bah! C'mon FT has 'em for around $12 a pop. *chuckles* But yeah, can understand buying what you like. Can even understand having a limited budget that might make a person hold off on Wasps, it was like that with me for a bit. I usually run about a month or so behind current trends, if, and that's often a rough one, if, I like the notions of the 'current trends'.

I buy mainly for function but am finding even that sort of limits itself. Put a decent build on a sardine can and get a decent vape. Can get sardines for around $0.89 or three for $1.25 at the local grocery. *grin* So lots of bells and whistles don't really seem keen for me. As you, I buy what I like. :)

Won't tell anybody they're wrong but at the same time can say I think some go plumb silly over a lot of glitter. :) Ah, but I do sometimes as well, falls in with that famous author I know, ... Saul Goode. ;) :) :D

I filed, sand papered, buffed, wiped down ... still had a little whistling. Figured then to turn the cap on it round to go cross ways, no more whistling. Might need to get one or two of those sxk ones later on. Not sure which clone co. made the clone I do have. It didn't cost more than $10 to $12. Still like using it, not quite sure yet about the NaRCA. It's alright but no NaRDA or NaRDA clone.
