Teddy bear custard is the bomb! I absolutely love that stuff! Always always always in my rotation. Spend the $$ for the recipe.....totally worth it!!!!

I agree. Unfortunately, I've had to stop vaping Cinnamon. As much as I love it, it was causing problems that cleared up as soon as I stopped. At least I have lemon. :)

Wow! 3rd package! What else flavors did you pick up?
Lol! More Custard Premium, Mexican Fried Ice Cream one shot, Devon Cream and Cornish Cream Tea. The last order had Custard Pi, Creamy Custard(both FA) and a few other random flavors.

I think I have a hoarding problem.....:D

Well, I’ve been reading back and found all the positive chatter about the cornbread recipe and gingerbread milkshake. I needed the fa corn, so I ordered it along with yes, we Cheesecake, health cabin white chocolate and FW Bavarian cream. Also bought the recipes.....where’s that Enablers Anonymous group again?:giggle::giggle::giggle:

Many of you know about my caffeine addiction and love of coffee vapes. I'm vaping this as I play barista in the kitchen. The vape is better than my coffee, lol.

New today at HIC's Mixes : Raspberry Truffle Cappuccino

p Raspberry Truffle Cappuccino.jpg
"Inspired by raspberry chocolate truffles, this is a sweet and very smooth dessert vape that tastes like cappuccino made with extra cream, sweet raspberry syrup, chocolate syrup, and an optional sprinkle of dark cocoa. This recipe uses only diketone-free FlavourArt flavorings, including Cappuccino and Chocolate."

So....I went to Chef's site, or at least I think it was, looked at the bewildering "one shot" page and honestly, it is rather too much. I'm not a custards person, just looking for a few lemonade (raspberry preferred ) and other tropical types.
Any and all suggestions (links if you have them) would be greatly appreciated.

So new to DIY, my first kit is still in the box. Wanted to thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. I’ll be doing my first mix tomorrow, because what I’ve read here makes me comfortable.

Congrats on moving to DIY! I hope you'll update us on how you enjoy the process as well as your results.

well, I got so excited and didn't wait... I mixed 10ml of White Chocolate Covered Strawberry at 3mg nic with a 70pg/30vg mix last night. I did not sample it yet , but it smells really good. I shook it up and put it in a dark cool place, to wait until I get home from work today. I need to find a flavor my wife likes, and the right nic level to get her away from her Marlboros. I've been vaping a premixed Rum Coffee for two years now, it got me away from my Marlboros. I stepped the nic levels down and don't even need to add it to my future mixes. Thanks for all the "likes" and positive support. I'll update on how my mix turned out later after I try it.
I bought a DIY kit from Vapewild here in Texas. The 6 flavors I chose to come with the kit did not specify whether they were PG or VG, is that normal? The directions were well... non existent, and the juice calculator i found asked whether they were pg or vg based. I have a feeling i'll be doing a lot of reading on all the threads here tomorrow, so as to not ask questions that have already been answered. But I am excited to start a new hobby that'll save me money, and give me great pride. THANKS AGAIN!

can I be a member of #HIC's-Cult after all I've read today? Am I allowed to ask, where do y’all order your Flavour Art flavors from?

Of course, welcome to Hic’s Cult :D.

Most flavorings are PG based unless otherwise noted. Most of us order from Bullcityvapors.com there’s a standing coupon code for 6% off “VU6”. If they’re out of stock on something theres ecigexpress.com, nicotineriver.com & wizardlabs.com.

I use this calculator; http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create

Looking forward to your update on your first mix.:)

"chocolate concrete" sounds like "brownies" to me:
http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/35761/chocolate-concrete--just-like-school.aspx
If so, the closest I've made to that is this one: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-chocolate-marshmallow-fudge.34992/, but looking at it now, I think I'd cut back on the acetyl pyrazine, add your favorite vanilla custard flavor (not FA Custard, due to the lemon) and some peppermint/spearmint. That much FA Cocoa will wreck havoc with your wick/coil, but maaaan it's sure tasty.

Ok friends, my day 1 update: I’ll claim an 80% success rate on my first mix. I didn’t think I tasted the “ white chocolate” part, and definitely tasted the strawberry. My wife really likes it - and that’s who I made it for, hence the majority of a success. I tasted my “white chocolate” concentrate, and that flavor was in the mix, I just don’t like it.
Knowing that it was a 1 day steep, I’m going to try it again in 3 & 7 days to see what happens.

End result... I’m hooked on DIY!!! You fine folks are stuck with me

White chocolate usually needs time to develop. Don't feel discouraged! I have a certain white chocolate flavoring that takes weeks to pop but when it does, it's the tits! I initially gave up on it, forgot about it and vaped it a month later. Thank God I did!

If you don't like a mix initially, try just storing it away for a while and keep coming back to it every so often and take notes on how things change with time. This is also helpful as you'll start noticing what fades faster or changes the most out of a mix and can compensate for it if need be.

Good luck!

I use medicine flower white chocolate btw. It's killer strong and needs a few weeks but once it's ready it's the best IMO. If only using fruit flavors with it, start low - like 0.2% or less maybe! You can always dilute it to make it easier to mix with.

Not the most beginner friendly flavoring out there but figured I would share my 2 cents since I've struggled with white chocolate for some time until I figured it out.

The white chocolate covered strawberry tastes much better today! All I’ve read on steeping is true.
Now I’m ready to tackle a juice for ME. I’ve been on a house blend Kahlua knock off for two years... so there’s the type of flavor I like. I’m NOT looking to copy that, but draw upon it. I chose creamy vanilla, Jamaican rum and coffee with cream to make a enjoyable flavor. Any suggestions on percentages, I want an even mix - but I call upon yall’s experience. Does one of the above flavors tend to walk all over the others? Thank you in advance for any and all advice.

I credit FA's fantastic coffee flavors with helping me quit smoking; most of my earliest successful DIY included them. This one is relevant: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-kahlua.1850/.

Those are the ideal flavorings for proper Kahlua flavor, but I have a feeling you'd like extra Jamaican Rum. FA's coffee flavors are strong & prominent in mixes. If you're aiming for super-creamy flavor, use less (half as much?) Espresso before adding your favorite creams. It's easy to add more Espresso to a mix that's not-quite-right, but if you begin with too much it takes more effort to dilute it. Small batches are a very good idea while you first experiment with FA's coffee flavors. Espresso can gain some strength as it ages in a mix, especially if you use lots of PG or if your nic base is a little rough. The higher your ratio of VG:pG and the smoother your nic, the more Espresso you can use before it's overwhelmingly strong. You could make a little batch of my Kahlua, see how it strikes you, and adjust percentages in future batches.

This one was my very first favorite DIY coffee mix: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-irish-lass-creamy-vanilla-irish-whiskey-coffee.1819/. It doesn't include Espresso, but it's one you might like anyway. I knew FA flavors were best for me when I realized how tasty such a simple mix could be! I first posted that recipe on another board; VapingUnderground didn't exist then. Those very old recipes all used light flavoring, so you can double that to 2% of each ingredient.

There's a Kahlua White Russian recipe in my store, too. No other brand can beat FA for coffee mixes, and I love coffee, so I make lots of them!

I made that recipe at like 9.5% total & I will wait for it to steep before making any rash decisions, but depending on how that goes, may have to consider "backin' her down" a notch!
I enjoy the recipe as is after a full day or two everything melds together for delicious yummieness.
