Storing juice in the freezer?

I got told this when I started vaping a few months ago. My brother-in-law told me to and I didn't really question it since he had been vaping for ~4 years.

Is this okay/beneficial for your juice? I've got about 5 bottles and only use one flavor for a few days, then switch.

Degeneration of the ejuice will be slowed down greatly in a freezer.
I keep my nic, flavorings and such in a deep freezer. Also keep my PG and VG in there.
Only thing that I have seen effected yet is TFA Brown Sugar Extract flavoring which is apparently real sugar extract becuase it crystallizes in the freezer.
But a warm up and shaking and it is fine again.

For you I would say that the refrigerator would be fine if you want to use it to keep juice in.
of course no issue at all if you use your juice within a month or two and keep it out of direct sunlight and at room temperature.

Its the taking in and out of the fridge or freezer then warming some creating condensation cause your replacing the old cold jug air with new warm air. For smaller bottles its not really a issue but larger bottles with more airspace that gets replaced the juice could become off. I've never froze juice but froze my 50/50 100mg nic with no problems. I also froze my tobacco concentrates and TA's in small glass containers, used them with no problem.

I store the nic in the freezer. Pull it out before bed, mix the next day - room temp sans condensation - and stick her back in the freezer. As long as it's just a liter bottle, and it's 100mg, I doubt it's going to dilute much over the gollowing months.

Juice and such will not actually freeze in the freezer.
Just get thick.
We are vaping antifreeze remember :)
The freezing point of both PG and VG is far below zero F.

but yes a lot of airspace in a bottle is not the best thing whether in or out of the freezer.

I split up my liters of nic into 120 ml glass bottles for freezing to keep away from possible plastic stuff migrating into the nic and keep the airspace down.

I seem to recall a cheap-ass -(I like cheap-ass ;-) - clever trick - for the worriers: Marbles.. Just add some more marbles to the liter every time you swipe some base.. Minimize the airspace all the time.

Me, I'm just not going to worry about it overly. No matter what I do, the base is still healthy enough to give me a buzz or headache if too high, and it's still cheaper than smoking ever was - including all the years handrolling, and those lovely, lovely meerschaums.

I've stored extras of juice, even half-used bottles of juice in my deep-freeze for 1-2+ years now. Key is to bring them back up to room temp slowly to prevent condensation. I'll double bag the juice, put it from the freezer to the fridge, let it sit in the fridge for a day. Then out of the fridge, still double bagged, for another day. They seem totally unaffected, taste just like I remember them. Great way to save those spare good juices and to store extra stock.

Unopened stored in freezer... anything OPENED goes in fridge or on vape shelf. Depending on how soon it will be used..... new juice gets stored on vape shelf... a shelf in my safe. For steeping/aging..... juice can move from shelf to fridge...... if not in regular rotation or further aging might be detrimental or I want to stop or slow aging process.

My God......Putting marbles into the bottle to minimize the air space is genius. Where was this when I was buying and putting nic into the freezer. In around 2050 when my great grand kids may run out of the nic I've bought then I'll pass the idea so they can "I coulda had a V8" slap their forehead also like I just did reading the post.

As long as said marbles are clean and not from your kid's toy box

I've got gallons of 100% nic transferred to 32oz Amber glass growlers. Then, 12oz, 80z, etc. in the freezer. I was wondering how the heck I'd shake a thawed 32oz of nic when I leave no air at the top. I knew I'd have to split up the batch due to the air issue.

Marbles! @PoppaVic Brilliant!

@The Cromwell You mention you have yours in "deep" freeze. As in sub?

As for pre-made juices, I've tried a few techniques.
*Fridge is short lived. Best to store when you can fill a bottle full (from an additional bottle after it's been in use for 6+ months to maintain viscosity and flavor preservation.
*If you intend on using it within a year and no need to store, you're good at room temp.
*I just found over a dozen bottles that I tried, put back in my vape drawer and found colored droplets at the top top of the bottle. Condensation turned to mold. Toss or flush and sanitize it. Dishwasher actually works good on the top shelf. Or, shake the daylights out with hot water and iso alcohol and rinse.
*I've OVER purchased hundreds of dollars in juice as a noob. I'm looking down at 15lbs of juice I need to get rid of that I've had since 2016. And it was in the fridge for a year or more.

Overall, if you'll be using it within a year, you're good at room temp. Anything beyond that, chill. But not for another years.
Me and my wallet are butt hurt over this learning lesson.

For me, the answer is absolutely no.

I store my nicotine base in the freezer. But I like my finished juice to age like wine. The older the better. It won't age well in the freezer.

@Ms. Trixy IIRC, it was a gunstock refinishing video - linseed oil cans will harden, (just like on the gunstock), when too much of the liquid is exposed to the air - so the stock refinishers would plunk in the marbles to raise fluid-level and reduce air-surface.

Gotta' love old-timey simple ;-)

I just love the idea. But shaking the 32oz bottle with marbles....I'd better be really careful when shaking the hell out of the bottle. Brilliant.

It is a freezer only freezer which typically run colder than a refrigerator freezer.

Damn. I just bought a freezer for food. I heavily vacillated over getting a horizontal one for all of my nic and bases. I may still do that, but it will be a small one.

For me, the answer is absolutely no.

I do not refrigerate or freeze any e-Liquids or Nicotine. Never had any DIY supplies go bad although some forgotten open e-Liquid bottles did get dark as all hell and I did not give two shits about dumping a few ML's down the sink.

I have one about 4 ft long with all my nic and bases on the bottom and food on top of them.
flavorings are in there too.

I'm going to do that. First, I need Mr. PigPen to get his sh*t out of my space! He promised me a portion of his massive storage areas. Oh goody! I get 5' x 2' to use. I'll have some deeper room next to all of his gun stuff collecting massive dust. But yes, that was my first thought Cromwell, but I hit the proverbial jackpot for food and got the stand up.

Plus Mom has nothing to do in Prescott so she shops. She sent me huge boxes of steaks, fish, meat a crock pot and 10 large boxes of crock pot meals. It's taking up half of the freezer!
