What are those small wide rubber bands for?

When I order juice online, sometimes they send promotional things like cards, stickers, or these small rubber band type things that don't stretch very much and they have the company's logo on them. I took a pic to show an example of one. What are they for? They don't seem to have much use and I was just curious what makes them include these things in an order of juice if they don't have any use? Is it just a 3D promotional item instead of a paper one? I didn't know where else to post this question so I hope this is the right place.

Those go around the glass on a tank. It's a bumper. So if you drop it the glass has a form of protection from shattering.

Its a vape band. Back in the day and some people still do, these were used to go on your tank. Too be more precise they would go on the plastic/glass and that should prevent the tank from cracking if dropped. Older tanks, RDA, RDTA, RTA could have better flavor output if the band was assembled on top of an unadjustable airflow etc.
Nowadays its more vendor advertising than an actual useful accessory, however some people still swear it works and keep using them.

They are called vape bands. You put them around the top of your tank to protect the glass from breaking when your mod gets knocked over. I keep one on all my tanks and have (knock on wood) never broken a tank.

Cool, I'll put it on my Nautilus X. Most of the rest of mine are Nautilus 2s and don;t need it cause of the metallic top. I got a couple Triton 2s and a Kanger Subtank I could put 'em on too. Thanx! I've een really lucky when it comes to my glass so far and especially now that I have carpet instead of hardwood floors. A nice thick carpet pad is sooooo much more forgiving than a hardwood floor (obviously).

I just lost my Black Coil Art Vape Band the other day~! I actually walked the path I took in the parking lot and didn't find it.

Vape bands work surprisingly well. I've dropped my set ups on concrete more times than I care to admit. Not one single tank has cracked, or broken. They may not look ultra glam, but they certainly work.

Can't really say how well they work for leprechauns.

I spent a few bucks on a "silicone wedding band" off of ebay because I don't like the logos. I'm clumsy and it works.

Size 10 fits a 22mm tank. 14 should fit a 25mm.

I picked up some of the wide bands on FT a while back. They've been great! So many drops, I should've had to replace my glass many times. Not once have I had to... yet.
