Do counterfeit tanks/mods exist? Also is fasttech/gearbox reliable?

Do fakes for those exists? For instance those Crown or Vaporesso tanks, or mods?

I bought a tank that advertised a meshed tip (NRG) but it came with a regular (no mesh) tip. The mesh tip is shown on the box, manual and website. The store claimed all tanks of the same kind came without it too and blamed it on a manufacturing error. Thankfully I got a refund.

Now I'm looking at fasttech / gearbox. Aside from dreadfully long shipping times, are they reliable? No fakes? Also any experiences using their DHL shipping option?

Also for countries with iffy ecig laws, do customs usually block ecig accessories (tanks, coils, driptips, etc) even though they are technically not ecigs? I already have a mod.

Clones are everywhere. With FastTech... you need to make sure it says "authentic" and with Gearbest "Original". There are a lot of shops that sell clones and don't tell you they are clones. So it's best to ask here in the forum about any particular vendor if you want to be sure. I can attest that when FastTech says "authentic" it truly is. I've ordered plenty of items and verified them.

Both Gearbest and FastTech shipping can be pretty slow. Gearbest being the slower of the 2 for me. An in stock item at FastTech gets to Ohio in 10-13 days. Gearbest, if it's in the USA warehouse is pretty fast... other than that I've had items take as long as 40 days.

The only items I've heard of being held at customs is e-liquid and mods with internal batteries. I've never had anything held at customs personally and I've placed tons of overseas orders.

Even if it says authentic or original, you will have sometimes missing items or different items in the box, even if the original packaging shows it as included. I got last year a ijoy limitless plus. The package shows that a smoked replacement glass is included, as well as a 510 drip tip connector and a silicon sleeve to make it single coil option. I didn't received any of that and the replacement glass I did get was clear.

After a long fight with that vendor (not gear best or fastech) it was said that only the webpage discription matters and not the original packaging. So if I were you look at that discription before purchasing or buy locally or ononline vendors that are in your country.

I do have no issues with gear best so far but wouldn't vouch for them either, however if you chose the priority line on checkout and pay a couple bucks, you'll get your items within 7 days. But both vendors sell items that are not stocked, without disclosing that, so you find yourself sometimes watching the package up to a month on processing status and the notification of items not being delivered to them from the manufacturer, which is bs. Proceed with caution if ordering from China would be my advise,

Everything that I have purchased from Fast Tech I have received from them in under 6 days and is authentic. Works wonderfully well and is complete in its packaging. I am in New Zealand. I normally pay for the express shipping to me which is like $4.90 I think. for shipping that is dirt cheap and well worth it, in my opinion. I hope this helps :vino:

Placed my very first order with fast tech on 3/3...Making sure everything was shown as availabe to ship.
Received my shipment yesterday on 4/7...So 5 weeks,,And it's only a partial shippment.
Prices and service were good, but if your in a rush, Id look somewhere domestic.

Really depends on where you are in the world and what type of shipping you select -- I'm in New Zealand and I choose the NZ express pack for free and I get mine in 6 days or less
