I received my Kit in black & right away I thought this is a heavy mod for a single battery even if it is a 21700 until I opened the battery door & realized a 21700 Battery was included

A very pleasant surprise as none of my local shops have any 21700 batteries in stock & thought I would have to test this with an 18650 with the included adapter. FYI take off negative side battery protector that is provided for shipping purposes. While charging the 21700 I threw in an 18650 & tested with my ProCore X tank & C4 coil. First thing I noticed was the battery door was not a tight fit it was able to rock side to side slightly (same when using the 21700) then looked at the magnets & thought they were on the small side for this device but after looking closer & me not being able to leave things alone I lightly squeezed the top “wings” of the battery door & issue is gone the door is now a snug fit & these magnets hold better than expected. The device looks like an Espion but close to the size of the Evic VTwo but with better ergonomics. The finish feels rugged & with the slotted sides. It grips really well in the hand. Fire button is a very nice size & very well located. 18650 battery life is on par with other Joyetech single 18650 devices which in my opinion are usually really good. Now it was time to start the function & life test using the 21700. To do any adjustments on the device you must unlock the touch screen this is simply done by pressing the function key. However you have to do this for every change this & monotonous on fist setup or when breaking in a coil. Once set it is not bad. Navigation is very easy & menu is fairly basic. The hardest thing you will have to do is set the clock! Touch screen works very well but is sensitive. Big fingers may or may not have slight troubles with the screen but for my smaller fingers it performed well. I was really liking the device then I screwed on the ProCore Air with the provided ProCore A coil. As like every coil I have ever used I primed it well, filled tank & let sit for a min of 5 minutes. fill is easy light push of the top of the tank to slide it open. Now came in the break in. Recommended coil range is 55-65W. As always I start my break in 50% less than minimum recommended them move up 5 watts after every 10 puffs. Well here is where things did not go good when I got to 50 watts flavor was incredible clouds were very good. It was very close to the Freemax Fireluke mesh then a couple dry hits came & had to lower to the 40-45w range flavor diminished (but was still above average) & clouds were poor. 1st coil died after 77 puffs. So I installed 2nd coil repeated break in (to put in perspective C4 coils last me between 3-4 weeks & thousands of puffs) with similar results this coil lasted around double unfortunately I don’t remember at the moment of the exact count but it was around 150 puffs. I contacted Joyetech & they are looking into the issue. There are only a few reviews so far online & one other youtube review had the same issue. I am hoping it will be fixed before launch as if it were not for the short life this coil would be amazing. I cannot wait to retest the ProCore A coils they were definitely good enough to deserve another chance

Final thoughts: Although the battery door needed a slight tweaking & the ProCore A coils need some work this is a very nice device for the price & what is included but be aware it appears there are two kits (although I am not 100% sure) one comes with a 21700 & one does not & the price difference is minimal so in the description make sure it states it is included. The ProCore Air is similar to ProCore tanks with more Airflow if you like large driptips you should love this one

Average online pre-buy price $65. Again not bad for what is included & a really decent 80W Joyetech product
