Hey guys, so I'm seeing that the new warning on LGs HG2s says "not for e-cigarette use". Did ANYTHING AT ALL change inside the cells? Or is this the same superb cell we all have been using the whole time?

That warning is on most cells sold in the last year or more. Just what I have seen from my personal 1st hand experience..............

I'm pretty sure they're just preparing for if or when the gov't attempts to regulate sales of batteries.

Manufacturers are covering themselves with these notices. These cells were designed to be used in packs with much lower current draw across the pack. With single use and lawsuits surfacing because of perhaps questionable use by consumers they are putting warnings out there now.

You’ll see this type of message on most newly purchased cells I expect, still fine to use just buy from a reputable source

Alright thanks! Yeah it's a bit unnerving using cells that specifically say "not for e-cigarette use", unless I can be sure they're the same batteries. Thanks!
