Going to try it. Don’t have Oba Oba but it’s on the way.

I love it, made 100ml yesterday! I can tell it's going to be one of those "the older it gets, the better it gets," so a bigger bottle was the only way to find out for sure...lol! My 30ml sample didn't last near long enough!

So I should make 120 mls to start. That’s confidence.

Lemme put it this way...if you don't like it, I'll buy it from you, reimburse the $3 you paid for the recipe, and pronounce you insane. :giggle:

Wow, now that’s an offer I can’t refuse. It has to be good stuff.

Just in case any have wondered, HIC's Lemon Pudding Cake kicks serious butt.

You know, I don't eat anything lemon. I'm not even fond of lemonade, but I love lemon vapes. Go figure.
It's probably one of my favorites of his, but his homevape cheesecake was a life changer when I tried it.

"American style" sweet vanilla custard with flavor elements of popular favorite cookies, including vanilla wafers, buttery shortbread cookies, and cinnamon grahams. This recipe requires FlavourArt flavorings including Oba Oba, Zeppola, and Premium Custard (contains diketones; one U.S. source is diyvaporsupply.com; one U.K. source is chefsflavours.co.uk) plus TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust.

p.s. The cookie part reminds me most of vanilla Teddy Grahams (remember those?) - thus the odd recipe name.
I have to ask, how different would it be if I subbed for regular old custard? Maybe a hint of AP to mimic the buttery notes / diacetyl?

Negatory - that flat-out won't work. FA Custard and Premium Custard are not at all similar; acetyl pyrazine would not help.

Sad face. Thanks for the follow up. I'll have to think of a way to tweak then. I'm pretty sensitive to diketones so I try to avoid. And that isn't just an assumption, I've personally experimented to verify and noticed it's an issue for me. But damn is it delicious :(

I did still buy the recipe of course :)

Awww, if there were a way to get the same flavor without it (or even something ballpark close), I'd sure use it. More flavors are possible without diketones now than ever before, but that distinctive sweet butter remains elusive without diketones. I hold out hope that FA will some day find a way.

I finally got around to vaping this last night. It's a full bodied vape that satisfies on the high and low notes. I did change the cinnamon a bit by going with .5 CC and .25 Rich Cinn. I'm going to experiment with that a bit, but it is an ADV for me as I do love cinnamon. I do vape on average 5-6 juices per day to keep the cinnamon fresh, usually light fruit recipes that helps balance it all out.

You really nailed this one, HIC.

I love Inawera Eucalyptus Mint. It's strong, cold, great flavor! I have a recipe with it: http://vapingunderground.com/thread...like-a-white-cloud-menthol-disposable.279078/.
Thank you @HeadInClouds , that looks good! I'm trying to get something close to the Ricola elderberry lozenges flavor profile. I'm getting a sore throat along with the cough and stuffy nose that herald the beginning of a month long cold and it will be hell trying to stay with my ADV. I've been able to vape menthol liquids in the past so this time I am getting creative. It's time for a trip to Nicotine River.

I haven't seen the elderberry flavor of Ricola, but I made a recipe like their "original" flavor: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-herb-drops-like-ricola-original.43700/. I'll have to see if my local Cost Plus has the elderberry flavor next time I'm there.

btw, here's one I use for a sore throat: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-sore-throat-helper.59935/. Hope yours feels better soon.

Cost Plus might have it, I usually get it at a little German shop, regular shops don't have it anymore.

Thank you for the links. Here is my problem: I never liked licorice and I steer away from anise, it brings back memories of a two day hangover from smoking a hookah in college. How do you get a hangover from smoking a hookah and what does anise have to do with it? Simple: you put Ouzo in the Hookah and smoke it all night:zombie:

I have been vaping HIC’s Lemon Pudding Cake that I forgot I mixed 3 to 4 weeks ago. In addition to being a delicious vape, the lemon has not faded which is amazing as lemon mixes tend to fade for me. I have to wonder if one of the other ingredients helped the lemon take hold in this mix and if so, which one. Wonderful vape.

I think the FA Torrone really helps it out

You're right - mostly Torrone (also Custard). First time I realized how great that trio is for enduring lemon flavor was in this really old recipe: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-limoncello-torrone-parfait-lemon-liqueur-mousse.1839/.

Good to know — thanks. Limoncello Torrone Parfait is another very good one and one of my first mixes which also included Italian Cream Soda, German Peach Gummies and Lime Coolers. They all are excellent with Lime Coolers being absolutely AMAZING!!!

I am planning to mix your Teddy Bear Custard recipe. I know I have FA Cinnamon Ceylon but I have misplaced it in the wrong place. In case I cannot find it, can I use FLV Rich Cinnamon and if so, at what percentage or should I wait till I find my Cinnamon Ceylon?

Sure, I do. They're different though as RC is sweet and CC is like real cinnamon.

A few posts back, @bobnat mentioned liking it with .25 FLV Rich Cinnamon plus .5 FA Cinn Ceylon. You could just use the Flavorah. Opinions differ on strength, but 0.25% is sure a reasonable place to start, even if it's the only spice flavor you use.

That sounds very much like your post above (#3667), just with Cardamom instead of Ginger. Tell us how it turns out for you!
It turned out alright i suppose. I vaped 10 ml and didn't hate it, but it didn't capture the taste i wanted, and it was a little muddled, and not bright and fresh as i hoped. Done with it, don't have enough time, skill, experience, or desire, to try to make it better ! I don't really spend that much time coming up with my own creations. I've only tried a few, if i don't come close to what i expect on the first attempt, i give up on it.

Agree — I also find HIC’s Pumpkin Pie recipe to be addictive. I like to vape this one fresh whereas with Gingersnap Milkshake I steep.

Lemon Pudding Cake and Gingersnap Milkshake are among my favorite HIC recipes. I like almost all the ones i've tried ( probably close to thirty between Gumroad and the earlier recipes ), but there are a few i make over and over. Off the top of my head, Sublime Key Lime, Blueberry coconut Smoothie, Banana Tiramisu, Jamoca Almond Fudge, Italian Cream Soda, and Double Caramel Cappucino fall in that category too. From the ones i've mixed more recently, Cornbread , Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich, and Coconut Granola Bar will probably be mixed more than a few times as well !

I mixed a 10ml bottle of the Teddy Bear Custard. What a big mistake that was because now I have to make a bigger bottle. FLV Rich Cinnamon at 0.25% worked out perfect for my taste — I can taste the cinnamon however it is not overpowering which is how I like it. Have not had time to track down FA Cinnamon Ceylon and when I do, will split the two. Thanks for this very tasty recipe.

Same for me — of all the HIC’s recipes I have tried, they were all good and some I liked more than others. Cornbread was so authentic and tasty however I could not vape much of it. I tried the Gooey Coconut Cookies recently. I do not vape many sweet vapes and needed something sweet not to say I like coconut. I don’t know if my taste was off as I was getting an intermittent soapy taste. I will give it another try down the road. Other than that all is good. AiV sent me a couple of freebies of their own extracts — Blueberry and Lemon. Both smell very authentic and the Lemon like a fresh squeezed lemon. Now I need to come up with some type of simple mix.

FLV Sweet Coconut mixed with FA Coconut is superb. I never liked any other coconut and now I mix the stuff 120ml at a time.

Thanks so much. I do have FLV Sweet Coconut so will split 50/50 with FA Coconut. This was one of five or so free flavors they sent me when I purchased Rich Cinnamon. Is it the Gooey Coconut Cookies that you are mixing 120mls?

YEAH I found my Cinnamon Ceylon in a plastic bag where I had my flavors to mix Gingersnap Milkshake. I had planned to mix this a few weeks ago and got interrupted. Left everything in the bag instead of putting them away in their appropriate place.

I do it at 70/30, FLV/FA, but you'll want to experiment with it.

My photo description of FA's Pazzo Burlone (Joker) flavor. FA describes it as cannoli, but I'm reminded of these Keebler cookies.
If you like FA Metaphor, Vienna Cream, and vanilla cookies, you'll like this FA premixed flavor.
I'd say it's a quick and tasty vanilla cookie for new DIYers...and a good introduction to FA flavors.

I can’t believe I missed all the fun  for whatever reason I stopped receiving notifications so I thought @HeadInClouds was busy & therefore no posts. OMG, I missed so much :(

Trying to catch up, but no Creme Brûlée for me, since diyvaporsupply is out of the FA Premium Custard
