I really like some of Hangsen's tobacco flavorings, but honestly ...I'm looking to expand...how do people think Inawera's tobaccos stack up against Hangsen's, and which Inawera tobaccos would you recommend..if any. or for that matter are there any tobacco flavorings you think are better than Hangsen's

I'm a big fan of some INW tobaccos.

My personal, all-time, desert-island one from them is Vanilla for Pipe. Beautiful alone or with other stuff. (Really excellent with TFA Red Oak Tobacco, FA Oakwood and/or the Flavorah "faves." (Cured Tobacco, Kentucky Blend, Red Burley)) From the looks of things and chit-chat I witness, it's getting harder and harder to find.

Aside from that, let's see... Gold Ducat would be number 2 on that list. It's mellow and yellow and stands well on its own. Mixes well with "dirty" flavors, or take the high road with it and vanilla it up.

French Pipe would be number 3. Decent stand-alone, a little musky and a little more "punchy" than the previous two, but I enjoy those kinds of tobaccos and this is that without it being too skunky and offensive, or unpalatable.

Gold for Pipe is also a good vape, but it's got a little bit of a floral note to it that I don't dig in long sittings. Once in a while I'll run a tank of it, and it'll be fine and different and enjoyable, and I'm glad when the tank is done so I can get back to my regularly scheduled programming.

Shisha Vanilla, but ... I kinda can't recommend it as a tobacco, it's far more vanilla than anything tobacco related. Just a nod of recognition to this guy as I go down my line of them.

If you're looking for something as close to Hangsen as possible, look at Tobacco Symphony. It's very reminiscent of Hangsen's Highway, No. 5, and Gold & Silver flavors. Actually, if you threw those three together you'd probably get something close to INW Tobacco Symphony. I like it. It's pretty much, in my experience anyways, a one-ingredient, complex vape. Don't really need to church it up much, and I absolutely dig an occasional tank of those "Gold" flavors, as I've always considered them. Hangsen Highway and No. 5 are so very obviously ingredients in some vendor juices that I found when starting out, and my goodness gracious am I happy I found them again. Little strolls down Memory Lane, so I'm probably really prejudiced here.

Kinda think that's about it for my recommendations. I've tried others though, my thoughts on them:

Black for Pipe is meh. It's musky, it's strong and full flavored at low doses, but it's not particularly my cup of tea. Tastes a lot like someone was trying for an authentic cured kinda taste, it just doesn't get any lung-time with so many better tobacco flavors out there.

Tuscan Garden is ashy, dirty and musty smelling. I think it would do well with the right mix, but I don't dig it alone and haven't played with it.

Sphynx is lighter, floral and perfumey for my tastes. Almost fruity, I want to say there's an element of citrus in there, too, and nah, I didn't enjoy that one.

Morning Rain isn't exactly disliked, but not something I'd recommend out. It's a prominent profile with high notes of... something. To me, it kinda smells and tastes close to an air freshener, so I can't do it. Can't say it's terrible, just not for me.

Coffee Paradise Tobacco is gross.

Hope I've helped!

edit, tl;dr - Vanilla for Pipe, Tobacco Symphony, Gold Ducat, and French Pipe. Stay away from Coffee Paradise, it's nasty. If you want a couple killer tobaccos, look around for Flavorah's Cured Tobacco, Red Burley, Kentucky Blend. TFA's Red Oak Tobacco is excellent. FA Oakwood is awesome with almost anything tobacco related. FW Coumarin Pipe is my guilty pleasure, I drink that stuff, but everyone else hates it, so more for me.

Coffee paradise is great to me mixed with Fa espresso and some cream.
To each their own, for sure. Only coffee flavoring I've found that didn't make me retch was WonderFlavours' Brazilian Coffee, spot-on authentic coffee flavor.

INW DNB for adding an ashy effect and some throat hit. It's not a standalone, more an enhancer or additive. Excellent write up @burley!

Black for pipe should be considered as an additive imo. Just a little bit for a bolder tobacco vape.

I found INW's normal line of tobacco flavorings to be completely uninteresting, except for their DNB, C-Tobacco, and AM4A, which are all useful as additives in small percentages. You need to be shopping at BCF for INW Wera line to get to the good stuff. These are the flavors I used in many of the tobacco recipes I sell:

Dark for Pipe
Black for Pipe
Gold for Pipe
Garuda
Virginia
Capt Jack for Pipe
Dromedary
TAB Cuban Cigar

In my experience, those are all unique and very worthwhile to have in one's collection.

To echo a sentiment already expressed, I view HS tobaccos and excellent bases, and the INW Wera Garden line as excellent additives. Using both produces recipes that are SO much more than the sum of their parts.

If your main experience is with HS tobaccos, I would also recommend picking up FLV's Flue Cured and Red Burley, both I'd say very much have a place in every tobacco fan's arsenal.

You can make a huge range of very unique and complex tobacco recipes from the above mentioned flavoring ingredients.

Oh, and since @burley mentioned INW's Vanilla Pipe, I should bring up WF's Vanilla Ruyan Custard. Absolutely blows INW's Vanilla Pipe out of the water. No comparison whatsoever, just a much more interesting and tasty vanilla tobacco type of flavor.

That's a bold claim to make, no sugar coating needed. I'll throw it in a cart on an order at some point, but dethroning an all-time top fave is a tall order for something that, by name, moves away from the pipe tobacco notes that I find so appealing in Vanilla for Pipe and replaces it with custard.

I've been wrong before, though, so I assume nothing without tasting it. Thanks for the head's up. :)

To be honest, I don't have a vivid picture of what Vanilla Pipe tastes like. I just remember quite a while back a customer requesting a vanilla tobacco flavor, finding that I had vanilla pipe in my collection, starting with a tester of that, and being unimpressed, then going on to create something from scratch.

WF's Vanilla Ruyan Custard, though, impressed me quite a bit. There are nice layers to it, and I'd say that the "custard" note helps brighten up and separate the vanilla flavor from the tobacco flavor, so you get a pretty 3D flavor profile right out of the gate at 6% standalone, so not super concentrated, but if you like this type of vape I think it's definitely worth having to play around with. :)

Oh, and I wouldn't call VRC a "pipe" tobacco flavor, if by "pipe" you have in mind a spicier type of tobacco flavor, but it does have a quite nice and distinct cigar type tobacco flavor at its core. I haven't had a chance to play around with it in mixes yet, but I'm sure it will play very nicely with pipe tobacco flavors.

If you're looking for it, I believe Vaperstek recently started carrying the entire INW "for pipe" line

Where else are people finding INW's Wera Garden and Tobacco Absolute flavorings? Just checked BCF and was dismayed to find that they've dropped a bunch of flavors I've been buying there for years (Black for Pipe, Dark for Pipe, TAB Virginia, TAB Garuda, and a few others).

I was looking over INW's official Polish site, may pull the trigger on some larger bottles to stock up. I'll check out the .com site now, thanks!

It's been a while since I ordered from e aromat. When I compared prices(with shipping) e aromat was the clear winner vs INW. I think my e aromat order was made before they required (for shipping to me in the USA) use of DHL. That might now flip things around price wise.

In addition e aromat charges VAT. I thought orders to the USA didn't get whacked for that? I’m not sure how INW looks at it.

@pulsevape don't get hung up on what people think is a good Tobacco because I have had some wonderful blends that were from small companies or not one of the Big Brands. Flue Cured Tobacco is some really nice stuff.

I never tried them myself because I have so many good ones that most put their noses up in the air when mentioned.
