The one I got from 3Fvape came in the square plastic two part tube that other YTFK stuff has come in. Which is what makes me think they aren't SXK as advertised. Oh well.

Now I'm on the look out for an authentic Exocet and an authentic Odis Flow. I'm getting to the point that I'd rather pay for one authentic than two or three crappy "clones."

I stopped buying clones once i biught my first authentic device. Difference was night and day. I had the authentic odis flow imo its better then the Exocet. Plus it cimes. With a sweet drip tip

That's interesting. Mine was just a ziplock bag in the plastic tube. No idea what the issue is. The one I got also has a wobbly positive post. Tried tightening it up and that made it short. The threaded positive post has a small oring around it that fits inside the base and that oring wasn't in great shape either. Replaced it with the one it came with and no better. Have gone through 3 of the base orings and all of them break. I think the clones with the bad orings have other problems as well. The bad flavor may just because they aren't made of the right materials. Or not, who knows.

Either way it doesn't work.

Try completely dismantling the rba. Sometimes machine oil is caught under the insulation and causes taste issues. Just use hot. Waternwith dawn soap.

I don't have a photo, but it's about a 1/4 inch wider and a 1/4 inch taller than a copper vape squonk without a rda attached.

It's quite compact.

It's smaller then rhr pictures look. Its supposed to mimic a pack of smokes but. A little bigger

Hi everyone,

I’ve been an avid reader of the forums here, thought I had an account but seems I had not so I created one.

I have a question and hope somebody can point me in te right direction.

I have a Billet Box Rev 4.B (DNA 60) and love it, so decided to get a second one. Thing is that I’ve been reading about modded Billet Boxes with dicodes boards and I’ve read a lot about dicodes and how they are superior, so I want my second BB to be modded with a BF-60 board.

So now I have coming my way a Dicodes BF-60 board and a new DNA 60 BB. Does someone have instructions or can provide help on how to mod it when I get it?

You should see if @dre is around. I have a modded sxk bbox with the same dicodes board in it and it's awesome. I like it better than my other DNA 60 bbox. From what I remember he said it was pretty straightforward...

Can I get a RLH from either the Exocet or the Insider RBA? I like the draw of my SMM at ~40 watts using 3.5MM ID 28/32g claptons. I'm wondering if I can get a similar experience from a Billet Box.

You sure can, although the Exocet has more airflow and is more suited to a RLH.

Will be purchasing a Billet Box DNA60 as soon as they have the Dober back in stock.
What's everyone's preference for factory coils?
I'll be purchasing an RBA bridge eventually but for now I'll be using it for a trip so I'm after the least fiddly option to start.
I'm all over the place with my vaping style, I like tight draw / max flavor ala a Vaponaute atty, but I also like a cloudy TFV8 style sometimes. Mainly I'm willing to sacrifice either for best battery life. A nice happy medium, thinking maybe the A Tank?
What's the good word?
Authentic only please.

The higher ohm Aspire Triton coils are supposed to be a great MTL. I’m happy with the SS Kanger Subtank coils at .5 for light cloudage. Honestly the Exocet or Insider RBAs are the way to go.

Thanks dude.
For sure will pick up an Exocet too but for my trip, I'm so busy in Europe and it's massively easier to plug & play with a couple packs of coils and not have to bring my build kit.
Lazy I know. Same reason I'm going BB over squonk for now.
What wattage do you run the .5 Subtanks at?

The BB is REALLY convenient and compact so I totally get it. I usually run the Subtank coils around 30-40 watts nothing crazy.

you will spend about $315 plus the cost of coils. if you want to do rebuildables, add about $100 to that. or you can get a clone. I have one for sale here right now, but not bridges (adapters) for any factory coils. just a clone RBA.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can replace the tiny square shaped insulation film that is needed to cover the chrome colored section that is the fire button? Like how the the two leads are that connect to it?

This is the asmodus chip btw not a dna. Stopped firing one day and when I opened it the little piece of film fell out then was later vacuumed up. I didn’t know if I could have glued it even if I didn’t lose it...

Rev Va with JMK button, Hellfire whistle tip and TRVP LYFE panels ...which I suspect are the SXK ones repackaged, but they fit the authentic like a dream so I'm not tripping...

Getting along great with the insider and the exocet and looking into getting some .7 bvc coils to try. Have the kanger rba but bridge that fits the coils is too long for it

Question... Is there a grey/gunmetal version of the BB or is it the dober in differentlighting that I've seen a couple times here? Thought the dober was a bronze/brownish...

Oh, a tip I didn't see this in the thread, but found elsewhere...

If you're having dry hits with the exocet or the insider install where the juice/wick holes facing the boro instead of the sides. Seems to have done the trick for me and i can vape the tank dry without any burnt hits with both exocet and insider

Trying out different drip tips i find that the the stock serpent mini tip covers the 510 nut almost perfectly!

That's good to know. On that note, anybody got a source for close-to-original drip-tips for the BB?

Mine got lost and I wanted to source a replacement, preferably either black delrin or acrylic, or black or white teflon.

I'd hope to find one with a rounded/chamfered edge on the top like the original, and with thicker walls so as to help with heat insulation from your lips...

Please tell me where I can buy one or more like that. Thanks!

I just got my first BB like 10 days ago and my other vape devices have since been neglected. I am loving this thing.

With it I also got the Exocet, and I've got an Insider on the way from China. I'm pretty capable with a tiny build deck since my second device was a Kanger TopTank Mini kit and very quickly I learned to use the included RBA head with good success. That was 2 yrs and about a dozen different rebuildable attys and related devices ago...

So now with my SXK DNA60 BB, for rebuilding, I have come full circle.

Nugget is a limited edition gold BB that I stumbled upon quite by accident last night while awake due to illness.

I have three clones all of which have either died (one shorted which was my fault) or don't work properly but I used tge m constantly.

Speaking of if anyone knows how to fix the issue where the box insists on climbing to 40 watts no matter what you do please lmk.

I'm okay with spending the money for a real one that will be covered by the Billet folks to be repaired should it go the route of the clones. I'm hoping the better build quality will keep me vaping on my BB for many years to come since that's about all I use now.
