Help me choose... RTA + RDTA

Building a rotation, and looking to add 2 attys. Not counting I'll get Kylin Mini, I'm thinking dual coil
Manta RTA and
Pyro 24 RDTA which can do single or dual.

Would you choose The Troll over Manta? Or suggest something different?

Trolls build deck is a little small and it can get hot. So it depends on what type of coils you plan on using. Other than that, I think your choices are solid. :cheers:

The Manta is a solid RTA but quite airy. A decent 60-120 watt device.
No good at lower wattages but a good choice.
For RDTA my favourite is ijoy combo but I've not tried the Pyro to compare!

I'm pretty new to rebuildables. So for coil types I'm not sure about what wire/coils I would like best. I've wrapped a couple from the A1 Kanthol 24g in CM kit and tried a few premades while trying to zero in on the coil types I'll want - which I suppose may vary from tank to tank. Seems like it takes a lot of trial lol. Right now I'm using these https://www.advancedvapesupply.com/products/10-pack-quad-core-fused-clapton-coils-316l-ss-30x4g-40g and they are 30x4 core/40 wrap/4 id/7 wrap and they are close to that .4ohm because I've been trying to conserve battery at work. It's a good vape and going to pull a couple wraps off and give that a go.

Want to try a well made Alien and wider coils but can't find good wire already made. Looking like for those you have to build the wire, or buy the coil pre-made. Right now I just don't have the time to learn+build intricate wire. Maybe I'll find a member that I can buy wire or coils from.

I'm in experimental mode. Thinking I'm going to be using both single and dual coil. Probably mostly single at work for reasons stated above.

Thought about getting Zeus RTA as well, but I should probably stick to what I've got going on right now.

I actually love the Zeus but my favourite RTA is easily the ijoy exo :)

Sound like great choices to me Vape Fan difficult to begin with until you experiment with a few to see what sort of features you like

Another fan here of the Ijoy Exo go stainless steel if you get it though there were some issues with the black version if I remember right ...it offers everything dual coil, single coil and even comes with a resitrictor for single coil

Heard a lot of love for the Sherman in the past even the clone is supposed to be great, I really want to try the reload RTA that’s on my deffo buy list at some point

RDTA I still love be the bombertech Pindad the fact you can squonk with it as well is a bonus offsets it’s tiny 2ml juice capacity though you aren’t gonna be slinging in big coils on its deck only needs basic claptons m ....other than that the Ijoy combo 2 was a nice and Tons of aftermarket decks to try out with it if you get on with it (I use the 510 adaptor with the druga style deck)

Looks like EXO RTA and RDTA are both good recommendations. Hadn’t considered either. I like that the RTA comes w/single coil deck but you can get separate 2 coil instead of doing both on - dual deck doesn’t always seem that great for single, even if they say it Is.

I thought hard about Reload. Not gonna do $80 for it - I’d be more inclined to go for even higher end – down the road. Don’t know how good Relaod clones are.

iJoy Combo RDTA has options too.

You can put some RDTA’s on a squonk box and fill the tank with a squeeze? Didn’t know there WAS such an animal.
Dang it KingPin, I was looking for another mod, maybe 2 now :thanks:

Maybe try a Reload clone :) I want the authentic but it's always sold out!

There’s a thread somewhere on the kindbright Reload I’ll dig it out and post the link

Cthulhu Gaia and Geekvape Medusa reborn both offer bottom refill as well ...I personably preferred the Pindad over the Gaia

I had the original Medusa RDA flavour was excellent, had some issues though which irritated me ....the reborn fixed a lot of those issues by looks of it although never picked it up. I should really supposed to be solid RDTA performer

There was another RDTA the DeJa VU that doesn’t have bottom fill and is only 2ml but from the reviews ive seen supposed to be very good

Looking to compare Gaia with others that squonk directly into tank.
All I’ve found is Asmodus Nefarius TF/BF RDTA. Pre-order and no pics of deck or insides that I can find, or even when it will be available. Outside looks nice. https://www.asmodus.com/asMODus-Nefarius-RDTA-p/asmodus-nefarius-rdta.htm
