Wicking the Serpent Alto

Anybody have the serpent Alto? Can't seem to wick it right.

Tried wicking it pancake style and it's flooding like crazy. I end up drinking the juice on the first few pulls. Not nice. Lol.

Also tried closing the air flow before refilling and it floods once I open it even if I turned it upside down before opening the airflow.

Tastes great though after I lose half the tank from leaking and me drinking some of it. Attached pics for reference.

You want to tuck the wicks into the channels rather than pan cake it.

Are you sure the leak is not from elsewhere like a missing or damaged o-ring?

Whatever I did it's not leaking now. I guess it's because I used cotton bacon and it's super fluffy to begin with.

The leaking build actually didn't leak at all when I put in 80 VG juice. But started leaking when I was using 50 50.

Yea you do not pancake this one you have to fill the slots to prevent it from leaking.

Anyone still following this thread? I don't have a wicking problem but a leaking/seeping one. The atomizer is seeping from the gaps above and under the airflow control ring. I could post pictures if it helps.
