I was a smoker for 15 or 16 years. I got my first, basic setup a little over 4 years ago. It was 600mah ego-t with a ce4. Used it for a few days unsuccessfully. A few months later, I got it back out. Ended up wanting a tank a little better. Wound up getting a t3s. Then the ego died and I got a manger evod. Then, I got a protank 2 and saw all the options to make the pt2 better. That' all it took to bring me to the hobby side. Then, I found gaping on Facebook. Their was no turning back!
I saw all the "cool" shiny mods and, I knew I had to have one. I ordered a copper nemesis and an igo-w. I was excited when it was delivered. Then I realized, mechanical mods didn' come with batteries and, rdas didn' come with could! LOL needles to to say, I ordered batteries, a charger, and some kanthal. Every time I turned around, I was getting deeper into the hobby side.
Now that I'm almost 4 years into vaping, I still love it. I'e been strictly using rebuildables for about 3 years and, diy juice for a year. I've only had 2 or 3 flavors I mixed myself that I really enjoy though.
My current daily setup is an ipv4 with a limitless rdta plus. I do have a "custom" series pwm box I prefer to use but, it' out of commission due to a broken contact. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it in a week or two.
Aside from my journey, my children were my main reason to vape myself away from smoking. I am a stay at home dad. Our daughter is 8 and, our twin boys are 5. I was a Toyota tech before being a stay at home dad. When our twins were born, day care was going to cost $1,900 a month which was more than I brought home.
Oh, my wife vapes too. She still smokes but, vapes! She uses my old sigelei 150 with a lemon. Her build is a single coil 3mm id 6 wrap 26g senthal reading 1.2 running 21w. Mine is 24g nic80 3mm 10 wrap dual reading .3 running at 60w
