I've been browsing the forums for a couple of months, using the info here initially to help me figure out my first setup - iStick TC60 and an original Nautilus, cheapest beginner setup I could find that had some flexibility. Ten minutes with a tank of Tribeca, and I'd convinced myself that I wasn't going to smoke another cigarette. So far, so good!

Now I'm at a point where I want to be able to ask more detailed questions - and maybe answer a few here and there, whenever I might feel qualified, and return the favor this forum has done me. To all of you here who are so generous with your time, knowledge, and informed opinions - thank you.

That's a really good setup you got there as a first vape and should last you for quite some time.As I recall Tribecca is a tobacco flavored e-liquid.So you might want to give (Gaia by Heather's Heavenly) a try.It is a Turkish Tobacco Flavored e-liquid.

Or if you want something a bit more full bodied try their Legend.

The only other advice I can give is make sure you get some clapton coils for that Nautilus.

Oh and just 1 more thing.

Thanks for the tip on the claptons - I'll give those a go next time I buy coils for the Nautilus.

Gonna give a few MTL-type rebuildables a shot, too. Not very many options, but that means I can try 'em all without bankrupting myself.
The Berserker is a pretty solid MTL RTA. Highly recommend :)

Out of all the plethora of so called starter kits available there are very few that are actually good and even fewer that will keep a cigarette smoker happy.

My top 4 recommendations for a starter kit

Tube Type = Tie Endura T20-S kit or EXCEED D19 kit
I've tried both of these and they are both very good.

Mini-Box Type = IJOY SOLO ELF KIT
I own a black 1 and love love love it.And those aspire nautilus/triton mini clapton coils will work in the Elf.

Aio POD Tyep = Limitless Pulse
Don't get me wrong the Juul iCare Solo Von Erl My Jet are good little devices but the Limitless Pulse is superior to all of them in my opinion.

I love the Endura series. I have a T18, T22 it's bigger brother and the T20. I use them for the pub or when I don't wanna blow clouds.
I'll have to try the Elf

Didn't like the T18 or the T22.
They both suffered from dry-hit hell.Even with very thin e-liquids.
Now the T20 & the T20-S are completely different animals. Both are very good but the T20-S is a just a little bit better.
And the difference is all in the tanks and coils.
The T22 is a decent little mod/device if you only want to vape at 14watts.I slapped a Nautilus2 on mine and I'm quite happy with the results.

Just a heads up the iJoy Elf tank comes with 0.5ohm coils so you'll need to buy some Aspire Triton Mini Clapton Coils for it.
The coils it comes with are good but in my head sub-ohm coils on a MTL tank are never going to work right in my opinion.

I use 0.7 coils in my berserker which are technically sub ohm and vape it at 25 watts. I don't like really high resistance and I vape at 25 watts which is probably high for how most people like MTL. However I do like a super tight draw when I'm vaping like that but recently I'm more into higher wattage!!

I like the flavor on the Berserker quite a bit. Only issue I'm having is a bit of flooding - by which I mean that it works fine for maybe a dozen draws after a fill, and then I get a mouthful of liquid. Guessing that means it's fussy about wicking, and I haven't figured out what it likes yet.

Reading this about the Endura T20-S, lends it a bit more credibility for me. Not sure I would go out of the way to buy one immediately. I will keep it mind though and give the Endura T20-S further consideration based off of your opinion of it.

Something we all might do good to recall is to not discount anything out of hand. I saw the Endura T20-S kits when they first come unto the market. It was then as well that some infamous Scott with a gleam in his eye mentioned this *gasp* sqounking bit in a video, And of course brother Spanky was lulling me into a fit of dire shinyitis then.

I went to mechanical mods and RDAs, squonking. No longer too bothered to use tanks much. That doesn't exclude a possibility of using them again though. The Endura T20-S kits did look real nice back then and you confirm they seem to be decent.

Thoughts, opinions and views can and do change and it's not even uncommon for some of us to hold several competing views in mind and wind up going a fully different route. :) Then, @UncleRJ already gave my kind away. ;) :) :p We're just mad, mad I tell you, mad like the hatter. :)

Don't let me frighten you off @GreyArea. I'm easy to overlook, in fact do overlook myself a lot. So much so I recall manners and offer a hearty welcome aboard. :)

Ordered a T20-S not long after you posted this, and promptly forgot about it. A few days ago, was hunting for a small, portable device to take to an event - didn't want one of the monsters weighing down my shirt pocket for the day - and decided to give the Endura a shot.

Was and am almost shocked at how good a MTL vape this little thing provides - on par with the original (clapton-coiled) Nautilus, and not all that far from the MTL RTAs I've been putzing with. Good enough that I ordered a couple of the T-20S tanks and some coils. Thanks for the tip, Snake!
