Got some new beard oil and comb and bought myself a new Pink Floyd shirt. But had fun watching and playing with the kids.

Most of Christmas went to the kids, my wife, and my mother. I ended up buying myself a VT Inbox and Pulse 24 RDA. The pulse 24 now resides in the Pulse BF mod and the Pulse 22 is home on the Inbox. The pulse 22 and Inbox is my perfect setup.

I got a whole bunch of nice gifts from my son, my husband, and also my aunt and stepfather who each gave me a $50 Walmart gift card -- which I already started putting to good use. None of my gifts were vapish, except a few driptips I ordered from FT and stuck in my stocking, and a couple of squonk atties that Cromwell PIFed me and I also stuck in my stocking. :)

But my favorite gift was from my husband: a new 23" LED monitor to take the place of my old 19" LCD:

Same here. I built my daughter a new computer and I can't seem to build a computer cheaply.
It depends on the sales (black fri, cyber monday, etc). Usually there's always something tempting for just a little more which adds up. With ram prices right now I'd hate to be doing a new build. On the bright side you've likely got a much better rig for her than she'd get buying a premade setup and may as well splurge a bit.

Unless you're constantly selling off components and upgrading along the way chances are if you skimp during an initial build it'll be harder to justify making the upgrade after several months. A solid system will usually last years before being obsolete in terms of raw performance so a few extra dollars now won't matter much over the long haul and whatever the better components are will be useful during the life of the build.

Most of my stuff this year was vape related. A revenger mod, magnifier lenses to help the peepers when doing claptons, a bottle of v2 red juice, a couple spools of wire (22ga ka1, 24ga ss316) and some cbv2 from lightning vapes, a pair of ceramic tweezers. Also got a nice warm blanket which will be going on my bed here before long since winter decided to go full retard (-1 with the windchill and may not see temps above freezing for most of the next week).

Got some food stuffs from friends and neighbors, homemade almond bark, fudge, peanut clusters, cinnamon almonds and a box from swiss colony. Can't beat vape gear and grub!

Kaonashi (character from Spirited Away) animatronic bank, shirts & a 21700 mod from Kroning. Also ordered a couple limited cassette tape sets from a couple future funk producers I like (Sugarcream & ミカヅキBigwave). Bank is probably the best thing I got

edit: also started the process to renew my passport for a vacation in Japan that I’m planning next year

Oh, I forgot one other vapish gift I found in my stocking: new batteries! A new set of 30Q's for me, and HE2's for my son. Got mine getting their first charge now. :)

handmade leather wallet

I like handmade leather stuff. Still have a handmade leather sheath for a 3 1/2" folding knife (around 4 to 4 1/2" closed) that a friend of mine who did leather work made for me. He left the outer cover of the sheath natural, it was kind of jagged from the edge of the hide he had, super soft to the touch.
