Coil question

So I have a Smok Priv V8 which is 60 watts and I’m looking for my first replacement coils. My options seem to be the Q2 .4ohm with a recommended range of 55-65 watts or the M2 .25ohm with a recommended range of 30-50 watts. I realize the Q2 technically require slightly higher but is running coils that could be exceeded like the M2 just as bad?

Do either option give a longer coil life?

Thanks for any help.

Is the mod regulated or fixed output or voltage output and limited to 60watts. what coils do you have NOW.

If I’m understanding the terms correctly it is a fixed output depending on battery level. I am not able to choose what wattage I want. Currently I am using the Q2 that came with the X Baby.

I thought that particular tank sucked personally. I use M2's on my V8 with bigbaby beast. I think the M2 series is geared twards these types of devices. Or its recommended anyways.

Yeah. I’m not a huge fan at the moment. I wanted something bigger than the baby. I should have done more research and at least figured out they take different coils.

The ohm determines wattage and the .4 will run at about 35 watts and the .25ohm at about 60 or less. Steam-engine.org battery tab will help determine watts.

No matter, how much research you do at the beginning, you'll buy something that you don't like. However, after a while, you'll know, what kind of mods, and/or Attys you prefer. I did waste some money at the beginning myself.
