I doubt its overheating. Tanks as well as mods tend to get warm, some tanks might get hot at the bottom, but not to the point of overheating. If you feel your tank gets to warm try lowering wattage/temperature.

The top of your mod, were the 510 connection is can get warm as well, however that doesn't apply to the whole mod, if you feel it does, maybe give it some time between puffs. If you're sitting there chain vaping for an hour as an example, sure the mod will be warmer than regulary but its not big of a deal.

Now if you're using damaged batteries, or some cheap ones, as well as some that are not meant for vaping, then I could understand its actually overheating, however your mod does have a protection for that. Therefore I'm going by the more reasonable cause, mod/tank getting warm/warmer as mentioned above, which is normal and nothing to worry about.

thx for the reply and the advice but I am new to vaping so i might be wrong but at some points it gets too hot to hold and it might be because i charged at some point using a wall socket

what batteries do you have?
are the batteries getting hot as well?
and what does the mod say your coil resistance is and what is the coil resistance supposed to be according to the coil?

What’s overheating?

the mod (take battery cover off and feel if batteries are hot)

Or the tank (tanks get hot chain vaping this heat can be transferred to the mod)

if it’s the second one a lot of regulated mods have a temp warning in order to stop the chip overheating ...the beast tanks do get properly hot to hold when chaining them

As @Mattp169 was asking, what batteries are you using? Utilizing improper batteries can cause (over)heating issues, worse case, resulting in exploding your mod.

Due to the nature, of the TFV8, the tank itself, can get hot, due to the wattage required to heat up the coil. It can also result in heating up the mod.

Charging the batteries via wall socket, will also produce some heat. However, it shouldn't result in not being able to hold the mod. Again, it is important to know, what batteries you're utilizing!

the mod has an internal battery

Oops :D my bad sorry not familiar with the tarot still is it the tank getting hot heating the mod up ie is it warmest at the top of the mod? Or is the whole mod getting hot?

since it has an internal battery I would immediately contact the manufacturer and try to get it replaced under warranty
