I personally think that the human mind isn't capable of discerning *climate* change; it's too large and lengthy a process. What we discern is *changing weather*....

I hear you on that. We still hold to the joke of meteorological forecasts listing a percentage of rain/snow and then adding 50% to that. Example, the weather guy/gal calls for 20% we add on 50% making it 70% and we figure anything over about 60% and we'll see stuff coming down. Not so much a joke I figure though as it's a common sense and bit of objective truth in that "it will either rain/snow, or it won't you got a 50/50 % chance either way."

What cemented it being a scam was a year or so ago I seen some scientist that retired was coming clean on whats really going on behind the scenes. They was being forced to change data so that it showed doom and gloom in support of climate changers agenda.

That scientist was likely the one in the video I posted, Ivar Giaever. He did retire because he could not allow his integrity to besmirch itself by carrying the can of the official party line of the doom and gloom, he had actually started to look into it and found it all *cough*bullshit*cough*. He had asked one of his colleagues that was versed in carbon monoxide studies to examine claims CO2 was depleting the atmosphere. The guy came back and said by comparison and extrapolation the CO2 we create in total including cars, trucks, everything is like lighting a match in a huge 12 by 12 foot room and blowing it out. It's not enough to cause well, notable damage.

That is not to say I think "oh gee, well let's us go out and raze the Earth then!" I think no such way at all. I believe in trying to tread as light as able because well I'm living. That in itself is a gift be it simply cosmic joke or by hand of Divinity it's still quite an honor if you think about it. Such a thing inspires me, at least, to have an appreciation of what helps life and living. I look around and see Nature and the Earth do that. So yes, I like to revere those a bit. Not saying I'm a full on tree huger or saint of conservation but I do make some effort.

In short, George Carlin keeps being proven correct more so and more so, imho. On that note I will say I curse the Ashkenazim Jews and Pharisees. They are the scourge of the Earth in my view and that view is not anti-Semitic if one uses the proper definition of the term and not the belabored Ashkenazim Jew definition, it's a large world of difference in perception and subjectivity. Pharisees can all go choke and die on the usury they charge the poor, in fact they can keep their fiat money and its game. Tired of feeling owned and having a gun put into my face, but I'll stay pacifist & muddle through, not gone that fer round yon bend as is said. :)

Bah, better go rack. Up later than I thought for. Y'all run 'er slow. :)

Here's a thing I've thought for a few years now, for obvious reasons: see this outright, bald-faced lying and fabrication that the gov't is doing with smoking/vaping/nicotine? Yeah. I'm quite sure at this point that they're outright bald-faced lying about a LOT of stuff; how could they not be, when they're the foxes guarding the henhouse and taking our money?

This is exactly why it's so fucking STUPID for the CDC and FDA to be compromising their "scientific integrity" (I put that phrase in quotes because it's become quite clear that they don't have a single shred of it); people will see this particular dishonesty, and start wondering what ELSE the gov't is lying about... and before you know it, you realize that not only is the Emperor buck nekkid, every one of his toadies and acolytes are too. It may be true that most "average" people are dumb enough to never realize it... but there ARE some folks quite capable of seeing thru their shadow-play. This mercenary dishonesty has started most gov'ts of the modern world down a steep and slippery slope... and the way down is fraught with such delights as civil war, rebellion, anarchy.... i.e., death on a very large scale. They're going to eventually reap what they have sown, and they aren't going to like it at all.

Had a world history teacher in high school. He is a devout atheist from being raised by a Jewish father. He couldn't accept the standard party line/s, regarding a lot and had served in the Navy. He saw a lot that was outright lies. One of his key things to use as a catechism was "As long as i got milk for my babies and gas for my rubber bare tired pick'em'up truck I'll be fat, dumb, and lazy if gummint says so."

He encouraged us to do better in his class. I amazingly got a C grade from him for 1 six weeks period, it was the highest grade he'd given in a decade. He didn't use the standard 'curve' to grade us. I had put in a lot of work to get the grade and deserve sleeping in his class during lectures. One thing I did was an extra credit report, 25 pages explaining how Nazism had it's occult roots in Judaism itself. Even to this day there are far brighter bulbs than myself that affirm Christianity has the seeds of Communism 'built in'. Know that might seem 'far fetched', yet if you take a bit and do some poking around you'll see the tales of it, with sources, cites, bibliographies and all academic like. And yes, I know you can call a pine cone a rose in academia. Do your own looking, questioning, make your own answers.

Here's some basic questions to help you start.

Who?
What?
When?
Where?
Why?
How?

Try to answer all six despite Kant suggesting you only need two for a set of complete data. Kant is wrong, you need all six and then some once you realize that starting with basics leads to more question sets. ;) :)

Something folks might want to look up is the origins of and original intentions of Corporations. They were not intended to be the behemoths they have become, nor were they to exist as legal and Lawful flesh and blood people as they currently may. Like Morpheus from The Matrix, I could tell you. That wouldn't offer you the Truth, the Objective Truth, not our mealy Nancy pansy subjective truth. You do need Objective Truth even for more than its novelty. :) Bugger my grammar too. ;) :p

I agree with you, people need to see the lies and then see the cockroaches running off in fear. Get rid of the Pharisees and we'll start getting ourselves righted in a big way then. End global private banking. It's no longer needed as money has become a dead idea, despite my belief that ideas are not keen to face death. Money has to die though so war can follow suit. We no longer need war, all farm-able, grazing land has been conquered and oil, h*roin can only serve as a backing for currency if people consent, they won't.

I dunno about "communism," but it definitely was man-constructed as a tool of social control, for those who thought they had the 'spiritual mandate' to control the maaaaaaases -- the sheep. And most of the sheep are content to let them have that control, to object vehemently when anyone tries to shine some light on it. Just watch what happens here, from this post... ;) For some unexplained reason, the majority of humans want to be told what to do, what to think, how to think it, and why they must think it, and that those who don't think it are heretical; the idea of deciding their own thoughts for themselves, minus the control of some "leader," some "holy writ," makes them so fearful they'll attack anyone who suggests they might do otherwise. Just watch... ;)

Is marrying your batteries a moral thing?

Only if they are of the same gender, or polarity in some of the Bible Belt states. So yes, in our states marrying batteries could be a moral, religious issue. Imagine all the batteries sending mods in their place to get cakes made for same gender battery marriage. This will cause a ruckus the likes of Pogo running for office, mark my words.

That is to say, I don't need to watch to know you're speaking the truth of life. Still a young pup but in the miles I've ran hard, seen enough of life to know and know I still yet got more to see. I've been called a heretic quite often. The only time it 'stung' at me was when Father L at my Mimmy's Baptist church called me one. i think it stung because he knew the meaning of it and knew I do hold a lot of differing views, if he knew so too did Mimmy and she was of Olde Worlde Dutch, damn near Royalty. Her knowing to me was such a shame although I'm by no means Catholic. You just don't go round disrespecting such pure ... class such as she had been.

Just a bit concerned about the mixing of electrons from unmarried batteries in dual battery applications.

I think it'll be fine. We'll end up with mulatto batteries and we know how yummy looking some of the fine brown sugar mulatto people can be. Ultimately we're all going brown or neutral anyway. Some of my kind, those that enjoy both genders, theorize we're all born liking both genders but get taught into liking only one so as to keep the illusions of society's nice little classification boxes. I've long ago forgotten of such boxes as I like defining myself, yet reckon can see their point of view.

It seems to be the age-old dilemma of mankind, this seeking of affirmation, of rightness, from external sources -- some mystics have identified that the only true Truth comes from within, in the still small voice which is often called Soul -- that being KNOWS right, knows wrong, knows truth, knows joy... but is so often drowned out by the voice of mind, of want, of desire, of The Crowd, that it simply can't make much headway against all that roaring noise. I think the desire to belong may be mankind's most obscene failing; it's certainly the tool wielded most expertly by religion -- do this, or you'll be excommunicated, damned, away from all those you hold dear. It's truly a shame and disgrace that humans have given away their self-determination in such fashion... merely to belong.

 regretting not starting to wear that dust mask at work today to prevent breathing fiberglass because my lungs don't feel too happy with me right now and my stupid decision to not wear it since they feel inflammed making it so they don't seem to be accepting as much air as they normally do. I worked at this place for 5 months before "taking a break" (AKA getting laid off) doing the same thing, just started again last Tuesday I'm definitely starting to wear the mask tommorow even though i will be the only one wearing it which just means that I'll be the smartest person in the workshop. just hoping my lungs feel better after sleeping tonight I had the same feeling yesterday only much more mild and it was gone this morning but after it being like this the past 5 or so hours I'm definitely wearing one tommorow and from now on cause I'm not enjoying the way I feel if OSHA came In and saw me and the crew of idiots I work with working they would either shut us down or fine the shit out of the business owner for allowing us to work with no protection at all in conditions where you really do need it considering your breathing dust with glass fibers/shards.

Probably a bullshit email or something which they're hoping you respond positively to with the goal of trying to eventually ask you to "donate" money to their "group"

I could send ya a ton of fire ants! We got plenty around here.
yeah had plenty when I lived in Florida.
My yard was an EPA superfund cleanup site and I still had fire ants.

I think they have little subways to evacuate till the poison dissipates, then move back.

You are the only one who can protect yourself. I learned this lesson when it was way too late. When I was a young man in my early 20's I shot a ton of Imron paint with no respirator, nothing. Back in the 80's we didnt know the harm it would do. Sure I blew mutli colored boogers for weeks afterwards but the job had to get done. Now that my lungs are fucked and I am disabled, I would like nothing better than to go back to that time in my life and kick my own ass. There is plenty of info on the dangers of doing stupid shit like that in this day and age. Painting, breathing fiberglass fibers. Its just not worth it. Protect yourself. Wear the safety equipment even if it aggravates you. Years from now you will be glad you did.

Yep. My husband has worked in factories his entire adult life, and his attitude has always been "we don't need no steenkin OSHA!" so he never wore ear protection. Now his most common statement is "HUH????" He's deaf as a post. The VA would pay for his hearing test, but not the damn hearing aid he needs, but hell, he probably wouldn't wear it even if he had one.

Kin to @AndriaD 's husband, I do a lot of the "huh" asking. Worked in various factories, industries, grew up shooting without ear protection, grew up being a country boy and we blew stuff up (it started with a grandfather teaching us how to make a basic homemade cherry bomb for clearing stumps) and used no ear protection, plus I'm sure all the loudly played AC/DC - Iron Maiden - Ozzy - Black Sabbath - Led Zeppelin - Rush - Accept - Anthrax - Quiet Riot - Dokken - Twisted Sister and so on had nothing to contribute to hearing loss. Know from my last hearing test some decade or so ago, I'm at least about half deaf. What irks me is trying to enjoy British shows/movies/music where it has been proved they do speak quieter than us yanks.

Can agree, it is often a lesson we seem keen to learn too late.

I agree with you. So far each day here at our apartment has found me being a good bit more self determined. Each day usually has about twenty to thirty minutes of general housekeeping work, and then about third to fourth day I do some more specific task/s. I desire keeping our home clean, livable and it is as much a need as well. Also been taking time for treadmill walking and building up on it gradually. May soon work out a full physical training routine involving mountain climbers and/or bicycle leg pumps.

300lbs is no fun weight to carry.

LOL! Anytime we watch something brit-made (the stuff on BBC-America is very good!), we put on subtitles; I hear just fine, but I can't UNDERSTAND what half of 'em are saying, unless they're speaking perfect broadcaster-"Oxbridge" -- any brit-colloquial accent and they might as well be speaking chinese.

Other than the health consideration, comfort is actually my #1 reason for keeping my weight down as much as I possibly can -- once got to about 165#, back during my last bad depression and at first was trying to use blueberry muffins and oatmeal-raisin cookies as antidepressants (they might work well for that, but damn they make you fat!), and that's at least 20 lbs more than I EVER wanna weigh, and I was MISERABLE, lugging around that much me -- my hips, knees, and feet protested every step, and none of my clothes fit! finally got rid of it and have managed to keep it at 150 or below (below is better!!!) since then, but it's a lot harder than when I was young.

I'm busy with assorted housecleaning this week and next, thx to inviting my stepdad and aunt over for xmas day festivities. SOMEBODY has to do it, or we'll all just weep ourselves silly, remembering the great xmas festivities my mom superintended. We miss her, always will, but life is for the living, and must go on.

No problems for me as I lived many lifetimes over there in the past.

I had a little bittersweet chuckle. One of my favored wrestlers, Braun Stroman weighs 385#, so I joked with my wife. "Ha! I'm not so bad yet, look at Rawr, he's a big guy too over 300 pounds."

She helped my foot reach my mouth, "Yes dear, but he's toned up muscle too. You're a floppy old beer belly boy."

I will start dropping weight though. May even hm, somewhat crash diet but safely and responsibly. Figure cutting out a lot of bleached flour products, high carbohydrates, eating more veggies/fruit (water based plant roughage) drinking more water/tea and limiting dairy/meat I ought to start the metabolism going again. Shoot, I'd prolly do alright eating green algae and lichen which are like the ultimate super nutrient rich foods. Then again believe it or not, some fool is actually making Soylent to sell as food. They got orange, blue, natural color which is a taupe white. So far no Soylent Green ... figure, giv'em time.

Interesting times we do live in, in deed, in word, in action. tsk. So far ahead on our housekeeping I feel like I'm behind on it. *chuckles* Keep going and checking every ten minutes or so, "is that clean? Do I need to haul trash? Can I sweep/vacuum yet?" And no, I'm not exactly OCD about stuff like that but by damn, i'm a husband and one of the old kind what thinks he ought nought leave a thing for his Lady to do ... although she does want me leaving the laundry for her.

I saw FT had upgraded one of the free shipping options. You can use USPS E-packs which cuts delivery to 5-8 days over 8-12. Not sure I get how that works but ... okay. :) I ordered one of them there all fancy artsy fartsy Daedalus Clapton coil jig and maker kits. Grown weary of hand winding them and not quite sure when I'd ever figure out buying a drill, or a chuck for the Dremel. That silly agoraphobia can sometimes find me pulling a WACO "We Ain't Coming Out!". Besides that, even despite thinking I might be keen to build a kit meself, just easier to buy a new tire for the already invented wheel. :)

Well, everyone gfy and try having a good one.  Y'all run 'er slow

Besides that, even despite thinking I might be keen to build a kit meself, just easier to buy a new tire for the already invented wheel. :)

Well, everyone gfy and try having a good one.  Y'all run 'er slow

There's only one "secret" to losing weight -- eat less, move more. That's it. Shortest diet book in the world. :D The best "diet" is the one you eat everyday, all the time -- nutritious food, not many empty calories, and put less on your plate. If that seems like you're starving, use smaller plates.

I used the better shipping with this FT order. Still took from 11/11 till 12/8 to get from Beijing to Miami.

ETA: don't crash diet if you really wanna lose weight -- you'll just make your body think it's a famine and it will go even further into save-every-molecule and the weight will get WORSE, not better.

We have a ton of different regional Accent's in the UK ,
Not only do we have multiple countries within UK they too have there own unique accents to there country Scottish, Irish , Welsh, An English but way too many variations to list.

Its all localised on the areas depend on how broad that accent is, Some are louder some are quiter
im from Lancashire England so a broad Northern accent similar to John Snow on game of thrones, but this varies from town to town for a not so large island we have a heck of alot of different accents of English
we often rip on each other for our accents

We were watching a BBC-America show a while back called "Ripper St," and most of the folks spoke a Whitechapel variant of cockney -- totally impenetrable! We always turned on subtitles for that one. But even on "Copper", set in 1860s NYC, we needed them, because of the vast numbers of irish immigrants from the potato famine -- very musical to listen to, but extremely difficult to understand if they speak rapidly.

You'd think a modern London accent would be easier, but it's not; years ago, I was addicted to AbFab, but I could only understand maybe 25%-50% of everything they said. It was funny anyway. :D

Ab fab was very funny ,
Some of the older shows ,

have you ever watched a TV show called ( The Royal family ) about as common uk accent as you get .

And the (Fast show ) another classic show , has a wider range of accents from posh to common.

An the Glaswegian pensioners from , (Still game ) thats on YouTube theres a lot of Scottish an Glaswegians in my area
So always could understand Scottish pretty well ,others struggle when they talk faster.
Strange this is they jump in-between 2 totally accents , more English when speaking to English and straight Scottish when speaking to a fellow Scot ,
2 well known actors James McAvoy , an Ewen McGregor
Speak perfect public school English in movies ,
but both have broad Scottish Accents naturally , same with David Tennant from DR who another Scot that speaks perfect public school English for TV ,

London accents vary too from Chavy Essex (only way is Essex accent )

to snobby Chelsey type Accents. You can really tell in UK who has had a privilege public school upbringing

One of my favorite guys on TV, EVER! was Craig Ferguson -- from Glasgow. When he first started doing the Late Late show, I found it challenging to understand some of what he said, but the longer he was on, the clearer his speech his became; not sure if it was that I got used to it (watched him every freaking night!!!), or his burr softened -- probably both. Absolutely broke my heart when he left the show. Easily one of the funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of listening to or watching. Occasionally his buddy Gerard Butler would be on the show, and they'd get going fast with their scots accents, and then it became challenging again. But I figure it's sort of a moral imperative that I at least make an effort to understand scots speech, being married to a guy with the last name Duncan. ;) He's as American as I am though -- maybe even moreso, since he also has some Native American in his genepool, and I think mine is all western-european-mutt (mostly Celt/Anglo-Saxon).

Never have been able to understand why Brits call private school, "public school". Over here, "public school" is the norm, for the "great unwashed." :giggle: Every region in America has its own accent/colloquialisms (a MUCH wider area!!!), but it doesn't really signify anything in terms of status -- those who need to speak publically usually make some effort to soften their accent, to sound a bit more educated and polished (or maybe it's just an artifact of their education, being exposed to a broader collection of different accents), but that's not 100% across the board -- just look at Jimmy Carter! He sounds very educated and genteel, but very definitely with a south-Georgia accent. One thing I've noticed, though: in places where most of the immigrants were English from anyplace even close to London, the R's are not pronounced, just as y'all don't say them -- but here in North GA, and in other places where most of the immigrants were Irish or Scots, the R's are very definitely pronounced... in fact, we kinda look at those who don't say their R's as being a little retarded, or with a speech impediment at the very least. :giggle:

Likewise, without the trip -- gotta finish the grocerying, including the rest of the ingredients for the 6 cakes I'm making, then finish up the wrapping. After that, I'll have no more reason to procrastinate the housecleaning... though I'll probably procrastinate it anyway. :giggle:

Been Detailing the house for almost a week.
Think I cleaned places that had not been cleaned in 40 years or more.

Heh, I did that sort of thing before the spawn came back home to live, this summer -- some areas had not been touched since we moved here just over 6 yrs ago. :giggle:
