Tank cleaning day

Once a week I clean and wick my tanks. I just choose Sunday to do it. Since Sunday for me is the best day and time to do it. I don't use all the tanks at once. I find it relaxing and want to keep my investments in prime condition.

I pretty much vape the same ejuice all the time so I clean my tanks maybe 4 times a year.
About every 1-2 weeks I clean the RBA deck, rewick and recoil if necessary.
The driptips I use have virtually no lip gunk buildup on them.
I clean them as needed, at least every few days.

Get yourself an Ultrasonic, trust me when I say it's well worth it. I have one with a separate heat control and use a non toxic jewelry cleaner, well worth the investment.

Yeah definitely well worth the investment even an entry model like I’ve got makes a huge difference

I have a kettle with Britta filter just heat the water myself first and add it below boiling ...Not so hot I cant dip my finger in quick ...whatever heat that is :D

Have to watch things that strip through It’ll take off film from glass no probs if it’s not adhered well

Wow.
I just rinse under hot tap water.
If a strong flavor and switching to another rinse with alcohol after the hot water.

At least you don’t lick it clean Cromwell :giggle:

Bob you’ve gotta be joking right! Tell me you are

I got an el Cheapo from Amazon at first, the heat only came on when you turned it on to clean which was pretty much worthless. I then bought one with separate heat control so I can turn on the heat to preheat. Heat makes a big difference with ultrasonic's 'cause you really need the solution to be hot to effectively clean.

Yes and you have to be careful, I've found that pretty much anything made in China if it has a coating it will come off. For those devices I usually only clean the base/deck and the glass. Good US, European or Pinoy gear it will hold but I'm still cautious with it. Oh that and don't put anything Aluminium in an Ultrasonic unless you want a black coating ;)

Nope only used hot tap water to clean my vape stuff for almost 3 years now.
Unless switching to a new flavor and then alcohol may be needed.
Drink and rinse. Repeat as needed.

heck I virtually never even remove the glass from the tank on my STM's.
Has to a couple of times to get a tobacco flavor out of the seals though.
Soak them in 90% isopropyl for a hour or so and they are fine.

I seldom ever rinse out the tanks unless I am changing flavors.
I do 60% PG so germy things is not really an issue.

Hey thanks for the tip. I may just have to look into one.

I only wash mine (warm water) if there gets to be bothersome seepage around the air or on the glass. My flavor range is so subtle I dont bother rinsing when I change flavors. I rewick as necessary, maybe ummm...twice a week, once for each tank (yes, I just use two right now)

I clean mine at least once a week or every time I clean the coil and wick them. Just under hot water and every month I rinse them with 95% alcohol. I clean my drip tip everyday when I wake up. Maybe just a germaphobe. Only takes me a couple mins to do this and the gunk that come out when I clean them makes it worth my time.

I do a full alcohol clean on a tank if it is going into inactive status.
