Funny I thought that posting that kind of stuff wasn’t really a thing anymore with all the backlash. I rarely post anything these days unless it’s pictures of my kids... my honeymoon being the exception as of late.

Even if I didn't already like you... you'd get my vote for ANYTHING from Psych! One of the FUNNIEST SHOWS EVER.

Andria
My wife hated that show.mostly because of Shawn (James Roday)
I had to watch it when she was at work.Thankfully we have Tivo or I couldn't watch most of the shows I like.
1) The Walking Dead
2) Any show that is based on a comic book (Arrow/Flash/Gotham/Jessica Jones/Daredevil) just to name a few.
3) Anything too gory.By the way this seems to change on a daily bases.
4) Deeply Sci-Fi stuff (Babylon 5/Farscape)

Remember, the natural pharmacy has a treatment which can help you curb vomiting and increase your appetite. From what I've seen my youngest brother go through, doctors appear to not be keen to say anything if folks use help from nature. They may not outright condone it but they're not going to condemn it either and might 'wink wink nod nod' you toward natural help after chemo.

Thyme, yarrow, dandelion are three different herbs I can think of off hand that offers help. Some suggest marjorum, garlic, basil as well. I'm sure there are plenty more, possibly even some I would have a difficulty knowing help. :)
Good cold water with peeled thinly sliced cucumber and a bit of grated ginger.
Oh and by good cold water I mean something like American Summits or Waiakea.

Ginger is definitely not a placebo; it's more effective on nausea than Dramamine -- the active chemical in it actually works directly on the nerves in the throat and esophagus to reduce/eliminate nausea. If you take a ginger capsule with a tiny sip of water, so that the capsule starts dissolving in the esophagus rather than the stomach, you can actually feel the ginger-burn, and it helps a LOT. I'm emetophobic, so I know!!!

Yep I'm pretty certain MythBusters did an episode pertaining to seasickness. As I recall Adam was shocked by how well the ginger worked.

I just poke a bit of fun at the FB and list thins from time to time.
Not to say that they are bad things, just not for me and I consider them a bit silly.
But that is just for me.

I agree, I rarely EVER visit FB anymore; just got so sick of all the various dramas -- ditto Twitter. But I know those are popular pastimes for a lot of folks. I would never do the FB list thing because I'm not independently wealthy, nor supported by my parents. I look for mods in the $40-$50 range, since we have actual bills to pay, and a limited income.

It even works on morning sickness, hangovers, and nic overdoses. :D Though by far its best use is for any type of motion sickness. It just has a POWERFUL effect on the vagus nerve, which is the big one implicated in nausea/vomiting, along with a great many other things that go on in the torso/abdomen.

James Roday was the main reason WHY I watched it! The banter between him and his partner was PRICELESS. Even if his partner did say his name so fucking weird that I cringed everytime I heard "shoowan". The goofy male cop was very amusing too. And those little flashback vignettes at the beginning, between Shawn and his dad (Corbin Bernsen!) --

"Dad, buy me a personal computer."
"Nah, those things are just fads... likle hula hoops, or yoyos, or LA Law."

:giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

The last few years it's only been that 1 person i've seen posting every move she makes,or what she eats, etc.,i blame it on her little group of friends that blow smoke up her ass and act like they really care, she got like 60 likes for saying she had diarrhea all day haha.
I'm the same way though,i rarely get on there, and when i do it's usually just to check some of the groups i'm in or to list something for sale in some of the local vape groups.Occasionally my wife gets on my page and posts some pictures or something to make it look like i'm active on there haha.

I have acquired 2 Coppervapes now, they are great little mech squonkers.
But I have a question.
Both of them came with a white o-ring and a small white washer (see photo). I have rebuilt both of them and for the life of me can't figure out what the small washer is for.
If I were to guess, I would say the small white washer has something to do with the 510 pin?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

View attachment 94283

I think the o-ring is for in the 510 connection nut to help ensure suction between it and the bottle. The small washer I think you're correct about being for the 510 pin. :)

I polished just the bottom half and you can see the difference. I used some very fine auto finishing polish.

I'm sure the clear tanks are not new to most in here but this is my first.
I love the way I can see when the cotton starts getting dry and turning white.
Then squeezing the bottle and watching the juice flow into the cotton and up to the coil.

Interesting set up you've got. Might not be anything I'm looking to do, although it is still interesting. Might try some old-fashioned CE2s a bit later on merely as something different to try out. I like RDAs well. :)

Me too - I can just imagine the BS if I shared my squonk life with my non-vaping family etc

Never would hear the end of it
I wonder how many will tell you just how dangerous vaping is! I had a couple of well meaning but uninformed relatives try to convince me they knew better than I. Let's just say they got an ear full.

I have a few friends who know I vape and when I check FB (about once a month) there is no end to the vaping crap they post on my wall

Everything from shrilly the popcorn lung warnings to dumb ass vape trick compilations

It's as bad as the "if you love your children you will share this with 10 friends..." emotional blackmail BS

No thank you -

I don't know about interesting, it's just a trustworthy old Coppervape with a Goon clone on it.
As much as I love my Therion 75c Squonker (my daily driver), I still have to grab this and vape on it for a bit.

I never get that -- and one of the ONLY uses I still have for FB and Twitter and even G+ is to give a link in those venues to excellent pro-vaping articles and published studies and blogs -- never hear a word about it on FB, where my only "friends" are really family members and very old friends who are thrilled I finally stopped smoking, by whatever means -- and on Twitter I have cultivated the vaping community, though not much lately -- still got a few over 400 followers on there, which is all vaping-related. I counter all the ANTZ "warnings about the dangers of vaping" with my own caution signs, like this:

I'm not good at marching with the crowd - especially the crowd I'm related to :giggle:

For some reason they feel compelled to try to save me from myself - despite the fact that I'm a more successful and happier person than most of them are

I keep getting an error....

Same, I use my Facebook for various groups and close family. I used to run my local aquarium clubs facebook but I have stopped being as active as I used to be. I hate Fb drama as much as anyone and even removed some in-laws years ago for shenanigans.
Also just to put it out there I hate X1 lists as much as anyone! Randomized lists even more lately. Lol but there's some stuff you just cant get anywhere else that I really like.

Vaping on the Hadaly clone with a little taller drip tip and it made the cut. It's the only clone to survive although the YFTK Entheon is on the way. I'm culling out the herd to make room for more. Thinking hard about the Pulse 24. It checks a lot of boxes versus my three Peerless, Icon, Tsunami, and others that probably won't see the light of day again.

Not searching for the Holy Grail but chasing the end of the Rainbow is fun :)
I honestly thought I was wasting my time trying out the pulse 22. Considering I already own 2 pulse 24's but the pulse 22 has much better flavor! Liked it better then the hadaly, and it's close to an equal of the Entheon. Imo

I saw a post on here somewhere a guy used some sort of polish and made the caps clearer if you have a frosted caps.

Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Well, thank you. Unfortunately, at the moment I only have solid metal caps. They are stainless steel, with the brass-toned ones having a brass coating. I'll find & buy some clear caps eventually. Need to wait upon a stipend to replenish itself to have vaping funds. :) I would class see-through caps for the Goons as a want more than a need. Wants have yet to kill me. :) Don't misunderstand me, still, do think clear caps are the bee's knees & plan on getting at least one. I'm in no great rush nor am I going to have fits until I get one. :giggle:

This to me seems a rather good idea, having a traveling mod or few. :) Granted I tote a CopperVape around near all the time and those are seemingly indestructible & I'm usually not too far from our home. Yet I could see the benefit of a few disposable mods in journies back and forth between WV to VA. Hard to tell when law enforcement might have us stop, not that they have any habit of it now.

Yo Dudes & Dudettes!

Halfway through my lunch hour, I really look forward to my deli sandwiches at 4am now!

Read a few posts and just wanted to chime in on the Facebook topic, not Facebook in general but from a vape scene perspective..

Facebook is like a big city, everything is fast, shiny, new. Competitive. Dangerous. Different restaurants serving every food imaginable. If you see a parking spot you better snag it or it'll be gone in 5 minutes. There are dicks and cliques. crime problems, but it is an exciting & electric place to visit and you never know what you'll see.

VU is like a cozy quaint small town, it's where you go to unwind and shoot the breeze with friends, get comfy in a rocking chair on the porch in the evening hours with a nice neat bourbon. Everyone is welcome and for those who live in the big city it's a perfect change of pace, where you can grab a bite at the local diner and don't need to watch the clock. Only drawback is the little country town is inundated with a growing community of relentless Chinese who won't leave you alone about going to their stores!

For me personally, It's a fun balance. If I want to dump $200 on some hot shit European import RDA or see what the latest styles & trends are I'll go to the big city. If I want to learn how to strip paint of my mod & the best tools to polish it with, or find my ideal build, I'll check in and have a few drinks with my buddies in the cool little town.
Everyone has a value in my mixed-up vape world!

Unfortunately not a whole lot of time for either right now... how is it 5am already?
Fcuk.
*punches clock*

Kiss kiss (bang! Bang!)

Edit for a couple hot deals at Eightvape:
CSMNT for $29.99 (they sell the squonk kit too) & Dotmod Dot 24 for $34.99
Cheers!
