Single Flavors that can stand on their own?

Title says it all. If I'm smart I'll be doing DIY for the first time, for sure, for sure in November. I'm looking at recipes on here and that's cool and all but a little overwhelming. So I'm wondering if there's single flavorings that can stand on their own. I'm willing to try whatever. I like desserts/bakery. I'm willing to expand my horizons tho and i feel DIY is the best way to do so..So any fruits, drinks, candy, cereals, etc is all game. I haven't tried that many different flavors (commercial juice) as I've only been vaping for a year now. So my pallet is still a virgin to many different flavors. Any good ones you can recommend is appreciated.

I just recently did a LA Watermelon that was pretty good. I used 5%. It did come out a bit sweet for me, so I ended up mixing in 3% FA Kiwi, which toned down the sweetness and gave it a lighter and more refreshing taste. But my daughter loved it as it was. I have a low sweetness tolerance at times and this particular watermelon is candy like.

Another good one for stand alone is FA Forest Fruit. I also mix this one at 5%. It is my go to when I am in a hurry and out of juice. A great shake and vape. The watermelon is also shake and vape. @wllmc is a great resource for suggestions, he has never steered me wrong.

Really depends on your personal taste. For me, a lot of tobaccos are good standalone, particularly Inawera's. TFA's RY4 Double is decent as well, though for me gets old fast. I enjoy an occasional tank of CAP VC1 10%, but it's not something I vape regularly. Inawera's custard is also decent solo. If you're into flavors like peppermint, spearmint, etc, those will work well as single flavors. And of course, there's menthol. Some of the candy flavors like TFA/FW Swedish Fish, Skittles (or whatever they're calling it these days), etc. can hold their own as single flavors. I used to mix a lot of FW Fruity Flakes for a friend and vape it myself as well, and TFA's Fruit Rings is also decent. Standalone fruits will be entirely dependent on your personal taste, there are many that could work standalone. One of my personal favorites is Flavorah's Wild Melon, plus a few others like FA Kiwi.

If you're interested in single flavors, you could play around with some of the many one-shots available. OSDIY has some decent ones, Lucky Shot and Lotta Latte are pretty good, I also like their Blue Raz Slush standalone, very occasionally.

I'll second the OSDIY concentrate blends. I like their Sweet Southern Tea, Pink Lemonade, Old Tyme Root Beer, and Chocolate Mint. Nuthin to jump fer joy about but tasty enuf to get you by until you get yer DIY game revved up. A lot of folks rave about the Blue Razz Slush but it did nuthin fer me.

Flavorah Irish cream, marshmallow, red velvet, blood orange, chocolate deutsch...matter of fact, most Flavorahs are better as single flavors than mixers to me. Gonna cull out quite a few of mine as lost causes, as well as most of my Real Flavors.

there are a lot of flavors I like all by themselves and vape single flavors often when Im being lazy or trying to learn new flavors when I first get them. just dont expect to many to be mind numbing delicious :p Ill make a list below of what I like personally and keep in mind my taste and your taste may differ I know I share some pretty complex mixes and some of them pushing 10-14% flavoring and thats mostly because Ive learned what most people like but for myself I like light flavor and lower percentages, again this is my personal list and others may feel different about them. you might notice a trend of my favorite brands ;)

just about every flavor art flavor I enjoy single flavor around 2-4% minus obvious one that are background notes like fresh cream etc they are just very clean and refreshing but the one that top my list are

bilberry
Irish cream
Jamacian rum

cappuccino.... havent tried the V2 and the origonal didnt taste like cappuccino but none the less I like the way it taste
Fuji apple
double apple
juicy orange
sweet tangerine

Capella Silver Line

fruit circles
Ranbow candy
27 fish...( sweedish gummy fish)

So any fruits,drinks....

I'll second wllmc's suggestions of CAP Tangerine (@4-12%) and FA Espresso (coffee) (@2%)
(Not that the others he mentioned are not good ones too! :))

I'll add FLV Wild Melon (@2.8%) to the growing list....

EDIT: With the Holiday season soon upon us, you may also consider making HIC's very good...

Thanks! Dang! I've never tried a white gummy bear.
I'll be looking forward to determining how this SC stacks up against my current favorite HS Pineapple.

Yes! That was probably it.

Real Flavors
blue moon Ice cream

RF has a fair amount of SC flavors that stand on their own well at 3 - 4% for me. Cookies and Cream, Deep Fried Cookies and Cream, French Toast, Aged Bourbon Cream, bread Pudding, Pancake, Fruit Pebbles, Paczki and Brownie are some of my favorites I have tried as a one shot flavor. Their Hazelnut is also really good on it's own. Honorable mention to their Butter Crisp Candy Bar and Sugar Cub as well.

Heres what I use. theyre pricey, but worth it. all the guess work is eliminated. All the flavors are specifically formulated to be mixed at 15%, and they all come out perfect. 1% (or less) sweetener, depending on your sweetness tolerance. you can get about 80ml of finished ejuice from one 10ml bottle of flavoring. theyre $8 a pop, so it works out to about $1 per 10ml, assuming you already have your pg/vg/nic.

also, they're not single flavors- so you can get complex tasty juice.... but when mixing you treat them as stand-alone because all the different flavorings are blended together in the bottle. it couldnt be easier. you just dump about 50ml VG, about 15ml PG, 0.75ml sweetener, the entire 10ml bottle of flavoring (which is really more like 11.5ml), and whatever nic% you use. for 3mg, it ends up being 2.3ml.

ive been using these for about a year now and im super satisfied. ive tried many many DIY eliquid recipies over my 6 years of vaping and none can compare. true blue shake and vape. ive noticed steep times raging from instant to 3 weeks or so, depending on the flavor and personal preference. generally speaking, 2 weeks is good.

you gotta get the "boosts" though. their other flavorings are just normal DIY flavorings, complete with all the headaches, trial-and-error and all that happy horseshit.

oh, and theres a coupon code until 10/20 i believe. THANKYOU12

From now until midnight EDT, you can save 30% on everything currently not discounted. If you need some more juice or a new kit, now is the time to shop. Use code PRIME30 in the shopping basket to save 30%.

I bought a mod from them and they were kind enough to provide 2 free sample juices. Way too sweet for me.
