Tesla makes clones, TOBH is an authentic rda maker, tobh is an ancient Hebrew word for "Good".
An authentic TOBH will cost anywhere from 80 to 140 dollars and are not the easiest to find.

Not trying to hijack the o.p. but is it weird for mine to say TOBH mods V2 2014 on the bottom like this.

not at all...good way to tell original Tobhs is the deck (cool looking swirly pattern), check out this link and you can compare pics, Tobhs also come with oxidized screws and orange red orings. You might have an original, most people have to get on a list to buy one and as far as I can tell, only 2 places sell them.
Here is the link to his site.
http://tobhmods.com/

vaporology is the store that usually sells them when they come out.
http://shop.vaporologie.com/

and here is the link to Tobh mods facebook.

Here is the pic of what a Tobh atty deck looks like.

Made in the Philippines...and bloody good kit with only .04 voltage drop.

Very nice. I especially like the cinched waist.

ok, last photo I will post of my baby, I redid the red paint and matched it up to a new chuff cap I got for her, then I added a custom blue set of stripes to match the blue that is in the patina on the atty....going to make a charm set for her too, but probably not till after the holidays lol. For now, she will sit like this until my next project (come on santa!)
Vanilla clone, Atty clone v2.0, red chuff cap, copper patina done with ammonia and salt, custom paints mixed by me.

Always liked this simple concept and emulated it in a couple of my mod projects. Couldn't see paying up for it at $100 plus.

Well, looks like a few weeks back this came out on FT.

Let us know for sure. I have a mod I wouldn't mind using this on.

Just received two of these. Outward appearance, build quality and materials are good. Inside is not so good, though fixable. Two main warnings before you buy:

1) The atomizer contact pin is a slotted copper screw. However, it is not adjustable. The far end of the screw inside the base is soldered to the positive contact wire. It will turn a bit, but if you turn it too much the solder point will snap. Many have done this and learned the hard way that the atomizer contact screw is false advertising.

2) The mod contact pin is indeed adjustable. However, support behind the fitting it screws into inside the base is weak. The bad one I received had no support at all, so if I try to unscrew to raise the contact it doesn't move. This I will have to fix by opening op the bottom cover of the base, which is interference fit and not easy to remove. :(

That said, I'm keeping these and getting another. It's a clone, so as usual I expect to finish it myself. While I am at it I'm going to upgrade the atomizer contact with a $2 spring loaded core from Fatdaddyvapes. Those little buggers really come in handy. :D

New on FT. Description does not mention spring-loaded but I'm assuming they are. I have nothing but respect for Fatdaddy, but these have always had a better, cleaner look IMO.

Yeah, Don, not for everybody. I personally can't stand bottom firing tube mods, nor long rigs, so side-by-side is kinda my thing. Comes out of searching for short pocketable stealth rigs that can hit hard. Hell, I'm still using my lowly modified Grippers for just that reason. Here's one in "long" 18500 mode with an Orchid.

I had been carrying my 4nine almost exclusively but recently picked up an authentic Praxis. It's amazing. Just wish it had options to do 350 and 500 as well. Only a few mm longer than my 4nine clone. Paired here with a Zenith v2 is always with me and a 30ml bottle of juice.

forgot to mention I stopped using the copper atty when I saw some green stuff in the top cab, but it did look good while it lasted.

Put the copper in a cup of vinegar with a tablespoon of salt. Just don't breathe the fumes! If you want to see what it does before you put your RDA in there, take the dirtiest penny you can find and try it. It will remove all the oxidation from the copper. Swirl it every few minutes.

I'm not a fan of tube mods in general, but have to say this brass SMPL is the nicest I have ever had. Seamless simplicity, really smart design, so easy to adjust to the battery and atty contact, rattle free, perfect button, and the shortest 18650 out there. Totally minimal style is not for everybody, but a standout for me. Makes my second favorite GP Paps seem kinda busy and dumb, handsome though it is.

it is! i have used it. most times i dremel with a soft wire wheel, then buff with the dremel with a buff wheel and some marine cleaner wax. for some reason now i have been wanting to let my copper age. i actually am waiting for the clearcoat to dry on my first attempt at forced patina. did it on the 18500 tube of one of my akumas. ill post the pics in the asthetics section when its ready
