How many "hits" are you getting? (RDA)

hits, tokes, puffs, pulls. Whatever lol How many hits do you get out of your RDA before you have to re-drip? I'm using a Wotofo Lush Plus and although it's a pretty goodtime re-dripping every one or two hits is kinda BS at this point lol

I have the original lush, using a single spaced coil. if i'm chain vaping I get 3 or 4 hits between dripping, but if I let it sit awhile between hits I can get about double that. I like to run one end of my cotton to the other side of the deck, then just pour the juice in.

It depends on the rda. In a goon22 usually around 7 hits, in a Kennedy 3-4 in my petri around 5-6 ... It also varies on build and how much power you're giving it.

But I agree with @SteelDriver
Nothing beats a squonkmod for carefree use of an rda... I have a goon22, hadalay and cyclone all on squonkmods and really can just grab and go without worry. They are great for dripping and driving or just not needing that bottle with me at all Times. There are so many options out there now that bottom feeders are getting to be commonplace

when someone releases a decent regulated squonk mod that doesn't break the bank I'm all in..Rip Trippers said something about a rumor that Vandy Vape might be working on something that fits the bill perfectly.,I'll wait and see. No mechs or $300 devices for this guy!

Not for me either... but if you listen to anything out of that stupid bug-eyed asshat's mouth, I've got some oceanfront property for you... in Arizona. ;)

Depends on your atty and on the power you send through it. Mine are are small chamber flavor RDAs, I vape between 35W and 50W, and I get 3 to 5 hits per 10 drop charge.

You think it's a pain to drip? Keep at it: after a while, it'll become second nature and you won't even think about it. I usually carry a mod and a bottle with me, and my hands do it on automatic - even walking in the street, or in bed with the lights off. It's so second-nature that I often find myself dripping my squonkers, then wondering why the bottle stays full :)

Canada needs to catch up lol none of the squonkers mentioned are available here yet..or Canadian vendors are ignorant of the whole squonk movement. The only one I've seen is here is the Lost Vape BF Drone and it's $300..I may just have to wait until we figure it out lol In the meantime I have an Icon RDA on the way which apparently has a more generous juice well than my current RDA aaand it comes with a squonking pin if I ever do get what I'm looking for in a mod..In all honesty I'm just shopping around for a good old tank with a large juice capacity. Still excited for my new RDA though and future purchases..I've officially fallen down the rabbit hole :)

But but... thanks to his advice, the skin of my hands is so smooth and moisturized!

Well, at least with RP, it's obvious that he's a shill. He's too damn greedy to be discreet about it.

But all the other reviewers are too - all of them, without exception. They think saying "This XYZ was send to me for free for the purpose of this review" at the beginning of their videos is enough to prove they're impartial. But the plain and simple truth is, if they poop on too many products too often, the manufacturers stop sending them shit to astroturf, and their little Youtube businesses collapse.

The only impartial reviewers are the ones who review stuff they purchase with their own dough, and there ain't too many of those around...

Next one on my list.
I have a halcyon and love it! That not changing battery thing makes it impractical to take out all day. Thankfully I have plenty of mechs

I hate to say it but, Buying at your B&M is always going to be more expensive. My local B&M charges almost double for many of it's products. I'd love to spend some money there, and I do, on batteries, juice, sometimes coils, and cotton. I refuse to pay 100% mark up though.

To answer your op. I use OG Goons, I get between 5-7 toots before having to re-drip. I go through 30+ ml of juice a day with .12 claptons ripping at 70-80 watts. I don't "drip" though. It's more like I pour lol. Or in the words of Grimm Green I "Bleeeh" my juice in.

My drone, I paid $130 usd and IMO, worth every penny. SO much more convenient to squonk than drip in almost any scenario. It's got decent battery life, and more power than I need. I go through 2 sets of batteries in about 10 hours, and ~20ml of juice.

I wanted to like the troll that I purchased. That RTA has good flavor and decent cloud production BUT, the wicking cannot keep up with my vape style. I'm constantly burning my damn wicks, or having to wait a while in between toots out of fear lol. Lately I've been bringing the drone and the troll on my captain so that I can hit the troll sparingly and still be able to vape out my guard shack. I could probably use less cotton to help it wick faster? But then I worry about leaks.

Anyways, personally, squonking is the way of the future for myself. I can fully enjoy my RDA's without constantly dripping, over dripping, leaking out the damn air holes on my RDA, making a mess, missing and dropping juice on my hand, seat, mod etc. I just absolutely love it.

Reviewers who do not monetize their youtube channel are the ones to look out for because they really don't have anything to lose.

A review is still only as good as an opinion.

The real trick is finding a person that vapes the same way you do. As an example If anyone, reviewer or non reviewer is only into direct lung, high power and strictly clouds but all you enjoy is mouth to lung or restrictive lung with alot of flavor than no matter what they say, it's pointless as far as performance goes. The review may have value on build quality or factual information but that's about it.

Just my perspective and all. I tend to turn to people whose opinions I know I can trust on different aspects of vaping; because, they tend to already prefer the same sorts of things I do. The joy of vaping is that no matter what you like, you can find it, if you look around enough.

I couldn't tell which ones aren't monetized: it's been years since I watched a Youtube video in the damn Youtube player (it's disabled in my browser) so I can't tell those that have ads in them :)

Anyway, Google income or not, if they get stuff to review for free from the manufacturers, they're shills - and most of them do and are.

The real difficult trick is finding a reviewer that actually uses the product for any relevant length of time before opening their trap on Youtube. They're all competing to be the first to review something new, so they only give the product a quick once-over. We - the real-life users who actually buy the product - get to find out when a product is shoddy and doesn't withstand the test of time.

That's pretty much what I'm saying. I have a few vape friends from the forum, most from outside though; who I trust and trade gear with.

People either love or hate these guys but for eliquid reviews I know for a fact that I have never disliked an eliquid that they gave 2 thumbs up to.

I'm not really into high end mech mods but Matty seems to really get technical with the total breakdowns and rebuilds of the entire devices for cleaning.

Plus they sure as hell aren't afraid to call out shitty ejuice

I usually get around 8-9 hits on the goon v1.5 before the fun is over. I'd say that's plenty in order to reap the benefits. I'm definitely in the market for a regulated squonker mod. Preferably single 26650, or at least 20700.

I'm looking hard at the Ijoy Capo squonker. Right now I just have a COV Wraith, and the battery life is shit. AND the fire button is iffy after a month of light use

Have to agree with you on the Wraith. It's too bad too as it has some good things going for it-well-mainly its shape and feel, and when it *does* have enough charge it vapes rather well. But even at a measly 35-40 watts once that battery reaches half...it's game over! You can actually watch the battery meter drain as you vape it seems. I guess it's an efficiency issue? Oh and don't get me started on that battery door!

But for the $30 i paid for it...it opened my eyes to the world of squonking.

I run it about 50 watts, the battery is dead in no time flat. Or like you said, at the halfway mark. It was worth the $30 but not $31 lol. It's a GATEWAY mod, now I'm hooked and must have more!

I seem to get around 6-10 hits off my mad dog clone. It doesn't have a super deep well like some do but I can usually drip around 20-30 drops without over filling it. Running dual fused claptons, 3x28ga ss316 cores with 38ga ni80 wrap at around 70-80w.

Some rda with deeper juice well like the aeronaut or troll may help you get more hits out of one drip, but if you don’t vape super high watts like above 100 , which I sometimes do with my goon v1.5, modern day rtas like the reload or the Azeroth that I’ve tried along with the others may give you really good experiences.
The only advise I’d give you is if you vape around 60-80Watts like I do, stay away with single battery squonk mods, especially the mech ones. And still I don’t like the drone or the kanger as much as I don’t like three battery mods just because they won’t fit in my pocket nicely.
So, squonking? I’m fine so far.

Mod - Boxer Lipo
RDA - Goon v1.5
Build:
Dual twisted round k1
24g
3mm ID
3mm leg length
5 wraps
.20ohm
80w
26 hard pulls before hint of dry hit
27 hard pulls and need to rejuice
(No juice at the bottom, just saturated cotton)
All about wicking, can prove it all day

I have a Lush Plus that I use on a tube mech. I use a spaced twisted coil configuration at about .3 ohms, 5-6 wraps maybe. I juice it heavy, bordering on flooding it and get 8 or so pulls before re dripping. I wick pretty tightly and do not comb the ends. I just snip at the right length. Sorry thats all I got. Hope it helps.

check out that video, no bs, I used to need to redrip after 4-6 hits. I’m easily getting to 20, but I’ll saturate the wicks after like 10-15

The Eleaf squeeze 2 is under $30 on sale and works great! It's one of my favorite squonks. The only rdas I use are ones with bf pins so I can use then with my squonks. Take the plunge and try a squonk. You won't regret it!

If your vaping some low ohm coils you will get a puff, 2, or 3 before redripping. If you vape with a high ohm setup then you will puff dozens of times in between drips.

I find myself squeezing my squonk or dripping every other pull.

I agree. A friend of mine does youtube vape reviews. He's an RTA for life guy. I only use RDAs. I watch his videos for entertainment and because he's a friend.

i use temp control! without it i usually get 4 hits out of my jenna or 6 from my 454, with temp i can easliy squeeze 8 hits out of the jenna and 10 out of the 454. temp control will get all the juice out of your wicks without burning the cotton! i never liked temp but after experimenting and learning my preferences when the wicks are wet it hits just like regular old power mode!

another thing ive learned is not to stuff a whole shit load of cotton in your dripper! all you need is the tails to be touching the base and that is it! i use very little cotton! if you have to much cotton it will fill up the space that could be for your juice!! i use to think that more cotton would mean long hitting time but if the wicks are too long the liquid will not flow sufficiently enough to the coils there for you'll be wasting more juice due to it staying at the bottom of the cotton!
