Joyetech eVic Primo - normal internal temperature test

Hi there

Wondered if anyone out there with a Joyetech eVic Primo mod that could help with a test please.

I've noticed that recently mine has started getting very warm to the touch during use, drains the x2 Samsung 18650 batteries very quickly (including draining overnight whilst not in use).

You can see the internal temperature of the board by doing 5 rapid buttons click to turn off, followed by 10 clicks to switch back on again. I'm finding internal temperatures of 43-50C after 10 minutes of moderate use (TC mode 230C / 48W, on SS316 0.7ohm setup), which seems on the high side. .

Was wondering what sort of internal temperatures other people were getting on this mod?

Cheers

Idk if the temp matters.... the fact that it gets warm and the batteries drain when not in use tells mee you have a problem. Either with the batteries or the mod. Try different batteries... Problem goes away.... bad batts... not gone new mod.

Thanks, definitely poorly mod. Same behaviour with different batteries.. and after 2 hours of no use, internal temperature still 36C.

Won't be vaping on that one anymore.
