Had mine a few days.. still experimenting..
The fire button on mine rattles like crazy.. the resistance was half what it should
have been when I first put a coil on it, but I wasnt following the directions... LOL

Tried TC and couldnt get it to fire at all, so went back to VW mode...
Will try again later.. my coil may have been too warm, and I didnt follow the menu
right.. so likely my own fault...

The UI is awesome... and I posted this pic somewhere else, so I hope I am allowed
to post it here....

The battery door is held in with 4 magnets, there are indents to put your fingers to
lift it off, but I sent mine half way across the room and on the floor....

The front is glass, but I believe the back battery cover is plastic.

It's heavy and wide... even w/o batteries, that was the first thing I noticed.
The second was the rattling fire button. I have not had any trouble with it yet.
It's mushy, not clicky, and the button looks to small for the hole they made for it.

The manual is big, lots of pics, but with the usual confusing English and poor grammer
from China..... You would think they could get someone who can write in English to
do the manual, but no...

Just changed batteries.. it comes on and ready to fire... didnt have to turn it on.. for some reason, it
had changed from 58W to 135W..... so it was a good thing I caught that before I started vaping...
The resistance was reading correctly...

I will try using it in TC with a different RDA soon....

Also, I noticed if i press the fire button at the bottom, sometimes it wont fire.. need to press in right in
the middle... so today is first time I had trouble with the fire button, after vaping on it for 2 days.

The button seems pretty cheap... and the connection sucks...

I’ve got mine about 2 weeks. Loving it, no problem on reading resistance, all functions work correctly, tc and curves.
The only gripe I have is that it doesn’t have a bypass mode, which sometimes I use but not complaining.
Also, it would be nice if u can upgrade to add wallpaper or at least colorful screen.
Again, not complaining.

Where did you get yours?

Don't forget to lock the screen after making any changes. The TC is very sensitive..
I keep forgetting, and go to vape on it, only to discover the watts got changed, like it will
be 10W or 130W because I accidently changed it when picking it up while unlocked...

I just ordered one from Fasttech. My first China order. I really like my Battlestar so I thought I would try this one. My less than 1 month old Procolor bit the dust today. Can't find my receipt to send it in for warranty. I am beside myself.

Also ordered my 4th Serpent SMM to finish out my quad of all 4 available colors

Now I wait.

Oh noooooo!!!!! what happened 2 your procolor?? mine has been working well (knock on wood) but have only
used VW mode on it.. been told to not even bother with TC on that devise...

I don't know. It stopped sending power to tank(s). I swapped batteries, tanks, etc. The display is working and looks to be functional, but when you push the fire button......nada. I can't find the damned receipt so I have a boat anchor.

Did you check the 510 pin with a VOM to see if any current is going to it?

How are you liking it?? I have a G-Priv & this looks way prettier with the colour screen. Is it the same chip as the original charon? If it is I don't doubt the mods performance at all!

No but three different tanks and an RDA that work on my other MODs says no power to 510 pin. I will keep banging my head. It is odd.

Ohhhh....I might not have cleared the puff count! Fingers crossed. I won't know til I get off work if that is the issue.

It sounds like a connection issue with the mod, usually I clean the 510 with tissue an a q tip an that clears it up.
I've had 510 connection issues with a few mods, it's nothing that can't be fixed!!

How are the screens on mods like this and the gpriv? I'd like to get a touch screen mod but I wonder how easily they scratch? I take good care of my mods but I just wonder if the screen is pretty durable? I can live with cleaning off smudge and finger prints but small or fine scratches would bug me.

Well, I am thinking if you don't mind taking it apart, a bad connection is normally easy to spot and fix....

It's glass, so don't worry much about the scratching, I would worry more about dropping....

If I didn't forget to reset the puff counter, I will definitely take a peek inside. I am hopeful I just neglected to reset the puff counter. It had done this once before and it just dawned on me that could be my issue this time too. Will have to wait til this afternoon to know.

I never even notice the puff counter... i set all my modes for 0000 ... I dont understand what ppl use this for??

I'm probably the only stupid one, but when u change the batteries, and the devise is in locked screen, it
will unlock when u put the new batteries in.
So, just be careful and keep that in mind.. i keep forgetting and find myself trying to vape at 180W and
wondering, WTF...... LOL

To be honest it was defaulted to a number. I just didn't bother to read the manual to disable it

If this is the issue with mine, I believe I will take a look at that manual.

OK it was my puff count. I figured out how to make it "000" so I won't have to deal with that anymore! All is well going in the weekend. I got some of my flavorings from Bull City yesterday and my nic arrived from Vapertek this week. I got a good supply of 1/2 oz and 1 oz. Boston bottles so I will start to mix tomorrow! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

i don't think i can ever trust smok again. my gpriv reads the wrong ohms and missfires all the time. my first smoke started kit died in like 2 months lol and all of their tanks i've owned either leaked or burnt out coils too fast

my grpiv screen has 0 scratches on it and ive had it since release. i rarely drop my mods or anything though BUT i did take it to work alot and i work in welding shop.

Seems like that would depend more on the kind of juice.. like if it's super sweet..
Maybe a good way to find out how long your batteries will last, as long as you keep
the same watt/temp settings???

This foum, E-cigarette fotum, Redit DIY_eJuice forum,ejuice me up app, All the Flavors recipe list mainly. It's all new to me so I always look for the recipes that get the most ink and those will be some of first ones I try mixing to start.

Well... I sent my Charon back to ElementVapes because the rattle of the fire button was unacceptable.
The battery door was loose too...
I decided not to get another one and have them issue store credit....
So cool as I think the mod is, and for sure has the best touch screen, I couldnt stand how wide and
thin it was, i kept knocking it over.. and the loose fire button will not be tolerated in a mod at this price..

I will put the credit on a Lost Vape instead.....

So, bye bye Smoant....
