The Counter Sink depth on the screws, and the unfinished dull look of them is what I have read thus far and seen on their FB page...Yours does look to not be all shiny like mine came, and your door doesn't look translucent... I think they found another mfg for their boxes etc honestly, or just said fuck it and didnt send out finished products...Ludovic hasn't chimed in on the subject yet. But many are disappointed that the mods sent out aren't representative of what is shown on their site.

Biggest thing for me isn't the finish that is an easy fix, and some of the Translucent'ish doors actually look nice semi-frosted ( Like yours ) its the counter sink depth of the screws that hold the bottle...if they honestly would use Chicago Style fastener, larger bottles (18mm+) would fit.

Mine arrives Monday, its a replacement, actually arrived in San Diego already, but wont process in time to be delivered today...

EDIT: This was their explanation for the finish difference lol

Ill re-word it in my Cynical ways...

We decided not to smooth finish the product as we have before to save us time and money...If you want it smooth and finished as before, be our guest...Suckers.

Plug finally arrived yesterday. It feels smooth in the hand and is built rock solid. Full silver internals with a Mod Dog 510.
I don't have the heart to put anything on it until I get a nice high end atty to match... anyone got one they want to part with?!

With the FLAVE. I get quite a bit of spit back. Not the really hot kind. Just warm. Sometimes I feel I'm tasting more of the liquid this way than from the vapor.

Haven't had that issue...I am running 3x26x36N80 3mm 5 wrap Alien slightly spaced, I did grind down the squonk pin though so it was flush to the deck...with how it sticks out normally, wouldn't really suck back into the bottle the excess juice.

The local NBC station for Plattsburg NY/Burlington VT always said they were from Plattsburg, North Pole, Burlington. I spent 5 years at Plattsburg AFB. Colder than a witch's tit wearing a brass bra there (-35F w/o wind chill). The only saving graces were it was only 60 miles south of Montreal and some great brook trout fishing.

I had to give one a shot too...and it's here.

I was JUST ABOUT to give it props, because unlike so many little boxes, they cut the end of the fire pin to a perfect CURVE, so it makes a really good connection.

I have no idea what 510 this is - do you? Is it manually adjustable, cuz mine doesn't seem to be.
If I have to undo the 510 nuts to raise the pin, well, that sucks and usually leads to leaking.

I haven't received mine yet. Order went through but I guess they are out of stock, I have a tracking number that is still awaiting the package. Really busy with work, and my squonky activity has only been obsessively window shopping for Runt & Bolt accessories so kinda forgot about that Armageddon purchase(!) ..need to follow up on that tomorrow.
Yeah the curved fire bar is a nice touch. According to Ariel (Mr. Armageddon), the 510 is exclusive to them. It's manually adjustable only.
Looking forward to getting mine but something seems off about the whole release. Like they launched them to see how it would go over, and there will be follow up of another box or something. Rumor is only 500 of each color were made. Also they are supposed to have engraved doors & accessories coming soon on the website.

Full on next few days for me, so catch up with y'all soon...

I got it off the Highcreek website. Its a swiss site. The site is www.high-creek.ch The last i checked they still had some in stock. They take a while to ship but once shipped it came from Switzerland to California is 3 days. Only if it hadnt took them 5 days to ship it...lol

Yeah they hold on to the battery. Almost all mech sqounks do that, there are a few that dont. Its totally safe, Mooch said so himself and he is the Guru of batterys...

Yeah i got busy and didnt have time to come on here or go on facebook to check. I read the response from them about the finish. I do feel its a load of crap. I dont mind the finish, it actually looks good imo. And if i start to dislike it in the future, its an easy fix as you said.

The counter sunk depth on the other hand is a issue. I dont see where your saying the nuts that hold the bottle in place. The only nuts are the ones that hold the contacts in place. They stick out alot and push the bottle over towards the battery. Is that what you talking about??

I dont mind the finish, and the frosted door. I really am a fan of perfectly clear doors but the frosted dont look half bad.

Can i see a picture of your original one, so i can see the nuts that hold the bottle and how they are countersunk...Thanks

Man i love that color, have been thinking of trying and getting one. Right now im strapped for cash with all the stuff ive been buying and im going to hold off on buying anything for a little while. I have probably spent a couple grand in the past month. My bank account is in pain...lmfao

It's manual adjustment from inside at bottom of 510 according to reviews

I meant that holds the contact in place and pushes the bottle...to where Chicago style fastener would eliminate that issue...

Far left... That's super tiny! Oo!... Awesome lol. Most squonkers well atleast for me, want a small simple devices for the squonk tanks. Which also im curious. Does anyone make dual coils tanks? I seen squonk tanks that are single coils.. I'm love my pulse 22, but I'm debating... 24mm upgrade worth it maybe lol

Any idea what the resistance is like on SS mesh? I watched Grimmgreen build the Ceito and it came out to like .12 which is way too low for my liking.
