oh hell may as well nothing going on today so Ill respond. the title of this thread is 400mg of nic to dangerous? so I take it as the OP is looking for opinions and facts which he has gotten plenty of. I think if you have to ask then you have not done your homework and no you shouldn't. my opinion.. ..

my opinion also is that anyone cutting PURE NIC needs to have the proper facilities and license to do so. I dont know about you guys but would you eat at a place that cant pass a health inspection? just because your car can go 120mph is that how you drive daily? I hope the answer to these questions is no. is 400mg nic enough to kill you with a drop I kinda really doubt it and for the sake of seeing it from both sides Id agree most of us could cut 4 or 500 mg and be just fine if you go about it the right way and had proper storage and ventilation when working with it..... fact is PURE NIC is a division 6 substance. Only 2 other classes exist above nicotines classification. RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL and certain CORROSIVES,.

my problem is its not a victimless act. if a child gets his hands on it they are dead we know that because a child has died with 100mg nic ingestion.now obviously there are some in this thread that could care less about a childs life and to each their own but in my OPINION thats not the right answer.

for the comment of being institutionalized thats just Andria reaching because she really has no input of value to offer or research to stand on so she goes around trying to attack and bully people like the other thread we had a debate in forcing her opinons. I know people in this thread whose 30 yr old children live at home so I wouldn't be so quick to judge and look in the mirror. personally, I got my first full-time job when I was 12yrs old and bought my own school clothes and supplies and my first car when I was 13 not even old enough to get a drivers license and paying my own rent at 17. pops passed when I was very young so it was me against the world, still is. if you look back also my first comment was in general and not directed to anyone Time attacked me over my opinion, does he have a right, sure he does no sweat off my back but don't get it twisted on who started the personal attacks and puffing up telling people to shut the fuck up.

I never said anything about self-regulations I do think pure nic should be regulated period Ill make that clear and again my opinion and we all know what opinions are like... everyone has one.... do I think nic to the public should be limited to 100mg? sure I do that my opinion who vapes 100mg anyways but its a nice safe number with considerably less chance of a potentially hazardous situation to occur. would it bother me if the limit was 24? nope I vape 3mg it is flattering though that Time thinks I have that much control over things but really I dont sorry guys. and you can in fact buy pure nic as well so again my opinion doesnt really matter.

to answer the question by the OP again yes 400mg is dangerous and if you dont know how to handle it and the hazards that come with it then yes it is to dangerous.

I'll summarize that for ya. 'It's for the childrenz.'

It's the same summary for those that want to regulate everything else vape related, like tasty juice flavors. 'It's for the childrenz'. We can't have fruity delicious vapes cuz the childrenz might like 'em.

One asshole is a bad parent, and your answer is for the government to be everyone's parent. And of course, that brings us back to the US being a population of adult children that need a government parent.

Yep.
It's always some idiot giving vaping a bad name.
Some tard blows up a tube or let's their kids have access to toxic substances and it comes back on all of us.

Most Common Substances Implicated in Poison Exposures?
Cosmetics and personal care products lead the list of the most common substances implicated in pediatric exposures (children younger than 6 years, NPDS, 2015). Cleaning substances and pain medications follow. These exposures are nearly always unintentional.

We've got to control make-up and deodorant...think of the children!!!!

If your child drinks Drano, Bleach, Weed Killer, or whatever, should we just ban all those too.
Or your child shoots his brother or sister by accident with parents gun do we ban all guns.
Things can always go bad when children aren't supervised or taught anything.
Heck I'm paranoid about my dogs eating something bad so I'm real careful about "things just laying around".
And raised my kids the same way.

Except when I left a shot glass with some hydrogen peroxide on the kitchen table once.
(I had been soaking my finger in it after an injury at work).
Went to the bathroom less than 10 feet away to wrap my finger back up.
My 4 yr old son came by and grabbed it and drank it.
His eyes got real big and then it was Exorcist time with white foam shooting from his mouth 4 feet.
It was quite funny at the time but it just shows how quick they can get into trouble.
After that he always asked if he could have a drink of something instead of just grabbing.

I can see your point on all of this but my view on it is we are in limbo now as it is as far as vaping goes. are they going to ban cleaning if a kid drinks drano? nope, no money in banning cleaning but we are in limbo as far as vaping goes, nothing is set and everything revolves around money. there are not people actively trying to take away our rights to clean our house but there are so many people who are trying to take away vaping or to roll it into the hands of big tobacco. the easiest way to do that is for us to do a bunch of dumb stuff and put in their laps.not sure if you have really read up but there are more extreme ideas out there than making someone have the proper lab equipment to cut nicotine lol

but there are so many people who are trying to take away vaping or to roll it into the hands of big tobacco.

Right. And every chance they get they are going to point to people inside the community and say, "See, even the vapers say vaping is dangerous."

If I remember correctly, during the comment period for the deeming regs, someone submitted forum posts from that other forum to do just that. To say that even the vaping community wants the regs.

The last thing we need is for vapers to spread misinformation about how dangerous it is.

The deeming regs certainly went overboard. I'm not sure how you think any nic regs would not also go overboard. What is the popular term? Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it. That's what happened with the deeming regs. ;)

It's been my experience and opinion that vapers have been their own worst enemy when it comes to prospective regulations. Not from accidents, but from actually asking for regulation.

The people that push regulation may have good intentions.... but in the end the people that CREATE regulation dont give two fucks for the public they are supposed to be serving.

As long as they get their cut... you can eat, breathe it, suck it, wear it, ect until you die....they dont care !
They spent years showing us how cigarettes were killing us, and now they just collect the "Sin Tax" and hope you keep smoking at five times the financial cost you payed BEFORE the "Life Saving" regulation.

Now they want their cut of the Vape market....
And they will get it !
All we can do is prepare and hope they dont go overboard, cuz they will get their way.
Little at a time they will squeeze the most $$ they can outta Alcohol, Tobacco, AND liquid nic.
Support it.... Oppose it.... Ambiguous....
It wont matter what we think or want.
The Camel has long had his nose in the Tent.... and it Aint Joe Camel.... Its the thirsty two humped Govt Camel and He aint goin now where but farther IN the tent.
Make Room !
