I'm not taking it personally. My mind is boggling at your claim that the batteries can't be removed from an Alien mod.
They have had problems with batteries getting stuck in the alien mods, Not sure which batteries but I saw it on some of the videos out there.

The Captain isn't bad, and the battery life is great. Just that it feels a little weird in my hand compared to the other mods.

It's a little bigger than my alien, I don't have entirely small hands so that might be why it's so comfortable for me. Lol.

It's not that it's too big. When casually vaping I like to switch back and forth between flavors. It is distracting grabbing the larger mod. There's nothing wrong with it; just a different feel.

So I'm about to go to the vape shop for some juice and crown III cartridges. I'm thinking of replacing the eleaf ello with a Crown III. Thought process being that I only have to worry about getting one type of cartridge rather than two.

Any thoughts on this? Good strategy or should I keep the versatility?

to keep cost down focus on one tank imo..providing you're not vaping menthol or some strong ass flavor it's easy to switch flavors using on tank/same coil.. Take out your coil > rinse tank > reassemble > fill with new flavour..first 6-8 hits might taste like old flavor then a mixture then it crosses over..I used to throw out my coil every time I changed flavor..rookie mistake!

Nope - no weird flavor and definitely not menthol. Weirdest I have is peaches and cream, which I always keep in the same tank. I should start rinsing them before refilling, though. I better get in the habit of that.
