Cash, that's gorgeous! This is exactly what m looking at except in Copper or all black. But there are a couple of different brands out there, it would be my first mech and I literally just bought a box mod. But I've decided I don't really like the box, I end up just using my Stick all the time. I just love the tubes. So on the first I'm getting a mech.
I was think of going with a good clone first, making sure I'm comfortable and really like the set up before I spend a few hundred on Authentic. Do you have any recommendations?

If you must have a copper or black tube mech, then just grab an authentic XXX from Vaperz Cloud (.com) because they're not that expensive and they're sooooooo worth it. The Mini Buddha 2 RDA looks great on them... it's an extremely very very underrated little RDA. Some months ago I asked the shopkeeper at the local vape shop to get me one. Now, he's been selling them like mad. I have both the Goon and the Goon 1.5 (authentic ones), and they're both excellent, but the hype that surrounds them is just a little, well... you know.

I have two xxx and would not recommend them for first timers because their button is stiff, the ergo of the tube is NOT comfortable. not to mention vc never has things in stock. I love vc but there always out of stuff and when ever they bring new stuff out they trash all the old stuff.

First off, please use ohms law, make sure you know what your battery can handle before you press that fire button. second, what's your price range? I have a lot of mechs and could get you going. do you like painted metals, bare metal copper brass SS etc or do you like aluminium? are you into low builds or soft high builds for mouth to lung types?

Not sure if I ever posted a pic of this guy, this is my cherry bomber.....or as I like to call it "my hand grenade." I like this little guy but I only bust it out when I feel like I might have too many fingers on my hands and want to possibly pursue a career as a teenage mutant ninja turtle hand double.

On the authentic ones, it's not stiff at all. Just say no to clones, man!
, the ergo of the tube is NOT comfortable.
It's very comfortable IMO. Last time when I was at the local vape shop there were three other people there besides me who all had brought their XXX with them... all four of us unanimously agreed it's comfortable and great, and I even spoke to two women there who also own the mod─they both agreed as well, so... seriously.
not to mention vc never has things in stock.
That's just because they've been selling most of their stuff almost like hot cakes. Can't really fault them for that, but I get your frustration... I live in a country where a $325 Purge mod will easily set you back 415 Euros so my Purge Maelstrom─the complete setup including those three Assassin extension tubes─was way more than $1k.
I love vc but there always out of stuff and when ever they bring new stuff out they trash all the old stuff.
Just keep checking their website often. If you see something you really like, do not miss out.

Listen, mate. Ohm's law has been PRESS FITTED into the top of my skull.

second, what's your price range?
During the past four months I've spent close to $3k in mech mods (not counting all the RDAs). Right now I own nine mech mods... in this thread I have already posted their pictures so they're all here.
I have a lot of mechs and could get you going.
I've actually been trying really hard not to KEEP going...
do you like painted metals, bare metal copper brass SS etc or do you like aluminium?
I usually prefer brass. But my Vapergate "The 99" is copper, and I like it a lot... and of course the Vaperz Cloud "The Four Horsemen" isn't in brass, but I just couldn't let that one slip because it's such an incredibly bad 4-battery mod... it's far, FAR worse than my RX300─I mean... what could possibly be more brutally horrible than "the four riders of the apocalypse" ? lol
are you into low builds or soft high builds for mouth to lung types?
I like big clouds and excellent flavor with a vape that ranges from cool or neutral to fairly warm and without much throat hit. I vape (chain vape, but never excessively so the battery never gets very warm... just put the mod down and grab the next mod... that's what I bought 'em all for anyway in the first place... short draws of about 1.8 - 2 seconds so not really causing too much extra wear and tear on a single VTC5A... don't immediately start chain vaping on a battery freshly charged... just very gradually start chain vaping more and more heavily as the resting voltage goes down, and keep pulling the battery out to feel if it's warm so eventually you'll have taught yourself who is and who isn't an ohms nazi... listen to Mooch instead of listening to the ohms nazis... always remember to tell all the ohms nazis to go and take their flannel suits stuffed with pillows to their padded rooms where they can then fuck themselves sideways...) at .1 - .11 ohms on a single VTC5A, but I also like series mechs (and para-series) a lot... with the three Assassin tubes─four batteries in series─I vape at .93 ohms (actually it measures .92 on a DNA250) using my batteries such a way that their combined voltage is only about 14.5 volts (or less) resting voltage instead of the 16.8 volts you'd get from all four batteries fully charged.

@CashNVape, thank you, I have been studying Ohms law. I love the bare metal copper, but I love black ones also. I've been studying their usage and RDA's, builds, batties and I'm still learning. I'm nowhere near a pro yet. But I am working on it.
As for price range for my first one I was looking to spend no more than 100$ on the tube. Then I know I m buying 1/3 RDAs to learn and practice building and those could cost me.
But as a Disabled Vet that was able to quit smoking with this, I will basically spend what I need to but I'm always hunting for a good deal. This has become a hobby. And it saved my life so by Christmas I will be asking for a very nice mech and RDA.
So I guess for my first I dont want to go super expensive.
Thank you!

And I have much to learn

More atomizer stacking ridiculousness:

36205314155_77c3099e12_b.jpg

The resistance is getting too low for a dual series mod with a 4th atomizer, and it's a bitch to build with 34-gauge kanthal - not to mention, the airflow is getting tighter than a nun's ass. So I'll leave it at three atomizers :)

Saturday afternoon, nothing to do...

Not zero voltage drop, but I'm willing to argue it's the hardest hitting single battery tube mech on the planet. Yeah I get what you mean about those magnets... I own four Purge mods, and to keep them from bumping into eachother I have to separate them by a distance of almost two inches. :giggle:

I am waiting for USPS to deliver my the truck which is basically a B2B for 20700s. It should hit harder than anything I've used before

LoL. Ya, I was puffing like a freight train so I wouldn't waste all 7ml of juice.
The Purge B2Bv2 is being touted as zero voltage drop. It's the 1st hybrid I bought and hits long and hard. Same with the Serenity.
The magnets on the B2B are outrageous. The base will pick up batteries, your keys or anything else metal. Don't get it close to your wallet or it'll wipe the mag strip on all of your credit cards. LoL

so it has less of a voltage drop than the aria oros v2? albeit it's only a win by 0.001+/- which is not a noticeable difference

I have an Admiral and love the 20700 format. I'm not sure if it hits harder but it definitely hits longer. Also, if you order extra batteries make sure you get them from liion instead of illumn. I used illumn first and the 20700 they sent (the only in stock) are 15a. Liion are the ijoy full 30a 3000mah.
If for some ungodly reason you don't like that truck, let me know. I'm sure I can f8nd something you'd like. LoL

Well my XXX stack came with plastic adapter sleeves so was able to compare dual iJoy 20700s vs. dual VTC5As. The difference was very noticeable... the VTC5A hits a lot harder, but it doesn't take very long before the 20700 already catches up, until finally the VTC5A runs out of breath whilst the 20700 isn't close to giving up yet, but my Vapergate The 99 with its dual iJoy 26650s just keeps on wanting to go like almost forever. lol

Sorry guess I just saw "mechanical mod" and thought it meant all mech's not just round ones.
Here's a pic of my small collection of round mech's

Those are mechs, they have no regulator it's straight power to the coils?

Dude! I want one of those in black so bad for my Voltrove! Is that a legit one or a clone? And how do you like it?
It's a clone, but I'm loving it so much I might get an authentic. Mine did have a small fire button sticking problem but it was easily fixed.

Shared in vape mail and bonkers, may as well put it here too, no shame lol. Loving this thing so far, fused claptons in the OG 2x28 N80 cores wrapped in 38g @ around .2 ohms, my favorite build to date.
