House Flooded. Help Needed.

It's been raining pretty heavily here. When I got home, my basement had about 3" of water in it. There's water damage to the basement walls. Guns, knives, military memorabilia, and vaping stuff was damaged. My two mods (which were in a cardboard box) are among the things ruined. My homeowner's insurance doesn't cover flood damage.

If anybody has a mod they're not using, I would be grateful if you could donate to my cause. I'm not asking for a $100 mod; anything you can send would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hello. At present I cannot help you, but I would suggest you to take some proper steps so that this does not happen again.

Hello. At present I cannot help you, but I would suggest you to take some proper steps so that this does not happen again. I think this is a very common scene during the rainy season. So my colleague has installed Palm Beach window and door from this website to keep her house safe from storm and hurricane. You also need to take such a step to keep your house safe.

You sound like a spammer with that lecture

You may want to try to put the vape gear in a zip lock bag of rice, then high tail it to walmart and get a Vue/blue

What @Whiskey said, or disassemble them as far as you feel comfortable, and use a hairdryer on them. Wet electronics generally aren't ruined unless you try to use them while they're wet. I dropped a Kanger Nano in our fountain, once. Completely submerged and waterlogged. Immediately took it apart, rinsed it with clean water, and dried it with a hairdryer, then let it sit on the table overnight under the ceiling fan. Worked like a champ after.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to offer as a PIF. I was burglarized last week, and lost 3 mods and 4 attys, myself. Along with pretty much everything else that was worth anything. Fuckers even stole my car, used it as a moving van, and torched it when they were done. So, things could be worse lol.
