Please suggest a dual parallel 18650 box mod that fits my exacting requirements

I'm on the market for a mech box mod with very specific features. The thing is, I need a new mod like I need a hole in the head. So it really needs to do everything I want to interest me. I've done some pretty extensive googling, but I can't seem to find one that would suit my needs 100%. I figured I'd ask here: maybe someone knows of an obscure make/model that would fit the bill.

So here's what I want:

- Dual parallel 18650 (if convertible to series, so much the better). If the mod is a squonker, I'm okay with only one battery.

- Side button, or corner button if easily accessible. No top button.

- Solid SS, or if not solid, as much metal as possible. No platicky crap with metal accents. Brass okay too. Copper... meh, why not, but the mod would have to be exceptional in every other way.

- Quick battery release, in the form of a swing door, or a pistol magazine and latch kind of mechanism. Spring-loaded battery contacts preferred, or contacts that may be screwed on by hand, without tools.

- Lockable if the button is easy to reach. If there's a latch to release the batteries, it should be hard to reach too.

- 510 socket threaded in the mass of the top cap - i.e. no 510 insert.

- 510 pin adjustable enough that every possible atomizer will sit flush.

- Durable and bomb-proof in every possible way.

- Unmarked, or at least reasonably discreet decoration. No crazy paint job or engraving. No reference to religion in the markings (i.e. exit "Lucifer", "Devil", "Diablo", "God", crosses, pentagrams and other such shit) - unless they are easy to remove with a file, sandpaper and buffing wheel.

- I don't about size or weight. I don't care too much about the price either.

The closest thing to what I'm looking for is the Incubus box mod. I could easily remove the stupid devil logo. What prevents me from buying it is the battery magazine latch, which is too exposed, and looks very much like it'll strip quickly. Also, it's more plastic than metal.

The Dos Equis doesn't look half-bad either, but it too has too much plastic for my taste, the battery door looks like it'll strip the bottom of the batteries' wrappers in a hurry, and the positive plate at the top is only isolated from the negative with a worryingly thin piece of sticky tape.

Anybody knows of a mod that would have all the features I want?

Geekvape mech pro? Sounds like your looking for something a little more high end but it's what came to mind and I've enjoyed mine.

Yeah, it ticks all my boxes (no pun intended :)) apart from one: the looks. I mean it's very well designed and all, but it's not exactly exciting to look at, and that's what I'm looking for in a mech. The Geekvape Mech Pro is clearly just functional, and I use regulated mods when I want functional.

Other than that, great suggestion.

On second thought, the Geekvape Mech Pro grows on me. It really does tick all my boxes, and I think I can engrave it and mill new doors to personalize it a bit. And... I just scored one for twenty bucks. At that price, I can't go wrong :)
Yeah I only bought mine because I got it cheap, but ended up really liking it a lot. The only problem I've really found is the magnets on the battery door seem to have bad glue on them so they come undone really easy. If your switching out the doors that shouldn't be a problem for you though.

I got the Mech Pro in the mail this morning. It really is a very good mod! Let's see how it meets my requirements:

- Dual parallel 18650 (if convertible to series, so much the better). If the mod is a squonker, I'm okay with only one battery.

Yes, but no series configuration. Oh well... - 7/10

- Side button, or corner button if easily accessible. No top button.

Great button. Very well placed, very comfortable. - 10/10

- Solid SS, or if not solid, as much metal as possible. No platicky crap with metal accents. Brass okay too. Copper... meh, why not, but the mod would have to be exceptional in every other way.

It's not SS, brass or copper - although the button is copper. But it's a hefty metallic thing alright. It definitely has potential for personalization. Plenty of plastic inside though :( - 6/10

- Quick battery release, in the form of a swing door, or a pistol magazine and latch kind of mechanism. Spring-loaded battery contacts preferred, or contacts that may be screwed on by hand, without tools.

Perfect - 10/10

- Lockable if the button is easy to reach. If there's a latch to release the batteries, it should be hard to reach too.

There is a locking button, it's easy to actuate, and it's hidden behind the door. Very clever. But you have to remove the door to lock it. - 9/10

- 510 socket threaded in the mass of the top cap - i.e. no 510 insert.

It is a 510 insert. But at least it looks solid. - 4/10

- 510 pin adjustable enough that every possible atomizer will sit flush.

The pin is spring-loaded - even better! - 10/10

- Durable and bomb-proof in every possible way.

I haven't abused it, but it looks very solid - although I know I might have to glue the magnets back on at some point. - 9/10

The "MECH PRO" stencil job on the doors is properly shit. The faux carbon fiber stickers on the doors look cheesy enough without them. I could do without the large embossed "geek vape" logo on the side also. But at least it's not religious or offensive or anything. I'll make me new doors, so the "MECH PRO" thing doesn't bother me. But I reckon the "geek vape" logo is engraved too deep to file it off cleanly without ruining the frame. Too bad... - 4/10

- I don't care about size or weight. I don't care too much about the price either.

The price is great! - 10/10

Overall grade: 8/10. It's a keeper :)

On a side note: there is a slight design flaw in the Mech Pro: when the batteries' diameter is on the larger side, the front door doesn't sit flush but rests on the batteries instead. It would be fine without the tab, but it's really needed to eject the batteries on this one. So I ain't gonna cut it. Instead, I milled two grooves on the inside face of the door to accommodate my larger batteries.

Also, the door partly rests on the heads of the inside cover screws. if you have a slight wobble left in the front door, it's possible to get rid of it by giving the screws a quarter turn in or out.

Now my door is nice and quiet. But I really have to make new doors for this mod :)

The only problem I've really found is the magnets on the battery door seem to have bad glue on them so they come undone really easy.

Yep, one of the magnets came off mine this afternoon - the front side magnet on the mod's clear plastic cover. I've epoxied it back on, but I expect the seven others to come undone too at some point or other.

Chinese companies are so strange. I mean, Geek Vape obviously made a real effort to produce a truly nice mech box mod. Yet the only glue they could find to attach the magnets seems to be llama snot. Couldn't they have spent a cent more and applied proper epoxy or cyanoacrylate? The mind boggles...

Probably just what they had left over from the last batch of Mickey D's toys.
