Smok al85 battery

Hello!

First sorry, if im in wrong forum, im new here.
My question is that is it okey to use LG HG2 battery in smok alien baby mod.
And which wattage range i can use? Mostly with .4 coil.
If its not good idea, then maybe anyone knows some good batteries?

Yes, you can use those batteries. I use those, HE2 and Samsusng 25r. As for your wattage, start low, then increase til the taste best suits you, just my opinion.

Thanks! But 55-65w is okey for the battery?
Considering I don't usually vape that high, only because I prefer a lower wattage, I asked one of my guru pals. He said you'd be ok with that one, but that a 30Q would be a bit better. Of course, you're using a regulated mod, so it will fire what it can, safely, or won't fire. His example was, that if you have it set to 80w, but it will only safely fire at 60w, then you'll get 60.

That's mostly but not entirely correct. Problem is the chip can't tell what the battery specs are. If you buy a crap battery that can only output 10 amps continuous then 60 watts is pushing it especially as the battery drains. Battery is drained at 3.2 volts and full at 4.2 volts. What you do is take the watt setting and divide it by the max and min volts to get the range of amps you will pull from the battery. so given your example 60w / 4.2 volts is approx. 15 amps drawn when the battery is full. Using the same equation and you get about 20 amps when the battery is almost drained.

So a 10 amp crap battery is not what I'd use at 60 watts but all the batteries mentioned above can handle 20 amps and are perfectly fine for that mod. Since we don't hold the button down continuously you should be safe going to the 85 watt max for that mod with those batteries but that is for you to decide what you are comfortable with.

Yes you will be fine with the HG2. Depending on how you vape at those wattages you probably will need a extra battery or two. I vape at 48 - 58 W on a HG2 but I carry a extra battery and have a external charger in my office.
