Getting bored of strawberry. What are your favourite fruits?

Hi all,

Looking to purchase some new concentrates and want your recommendations on fruits.

I’m getting a bit bored with the majority of my juices being strawberry based.

I have strawberry tpa, strawberry ripe, strawberry sweet, strawberry flavour west, strawberry red touch, shisha strawberry.

I started with mainly TPA and FA and just recently started to branch out to CAP and INW.

Please recommend me your fav fruit concentrates. E.g. blueberry, melons, banana etc. I’m willing to try anything new.

I have landed on a few fruit flavours I like.

FA – Fuji Apple

FA - Kiwi

Watermelon – LorAnn

Apart from previous mentions:

TFA Dragon Fruit
FA Lime Tahiti
FA Pear (makes all other fruits better)
INWA Raspberry

Then some fruit enhancers:
FA Liquid Amber (baked fruit notes)
INWA Kactus (juicy notes)
CAP Blackberry (Berry sweetener)

It's strong stuff, that Kaktus. First time I tried it I used 3% and had the same reaction as @bobnat. But I do love it in smaller amounts in recipes. mmm-mmmm! It's really versatile used that way.

I like CAP-Juicy Peach but haven't tried any other brands of it. There probably is an even better one. I would love to make a decent peach/mango.

INW Peach 3%
INW Mango 2%
(I usually add a bit of Cream to soften them a bit)

CAP Peaches & Cream 6% (Juicy Peach would work too I think)
CAP Sweet Mango 4%

Adjust ratios to your liking.

Thanks everyone for their recommendations!
This is what i have in my basket so far.
Sorry if your recommendation didn't make the list. I either have it already or it's not a fruit i'm particularly fond of. eg; cranberry and blackberry.
and im not brave enough to tackle the kactus yet haha.

Banana - Capella
Blueberry - Capella
Glazed Doughnuts - Capella
Cake Batter - Capella
Honeydew Melon - Capella
Sweet Mango - Capella
Raspberry - Inawera
Watermelon Clear
Joy - Flavourart
TFA Bavarian Cream
TFA Blueberry extra
TFA Blueberry wild
TFA Cantaloupe
TFA Dragonfruit
TFA Mango
TFA Papaya
TFA Vanilla Swirl
TFA Berry Crunch
Peaches and Cream - Capella
Vanilla Custard - Capella

List is not finalised yet as some fell out of stock. Anymore juice to recommend?
I'd prefer to purchase liquids I could use in multiple recipes and maybe a lot of.
I have a few bottles that are hardly touched as they use so small percentages or they only work specifically for certain recipes. eg caramel, catalan cream, acetyl pyrazine.

I'm starting to venture out into creamy or cakey recipes. Anything i'm missing?

edit: Whoops. didn't mean to make them hyperlinks. I just copy and pasted and now can't remove

There are a few i'm curious about, but not sure if i should add to my list.

Churro - Capella
Cinnamon Danish Swirl - Capella
Cucumber - Capella
Vanilla Cupcake - Capella
Vanilla Whipped Cream - Capella
TFA White Chocolate

I've read Cucumber supposedly makes fruit juices, juicy? juicier?

CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl is liked by many others but I like FW Cinnamon Roll better cause it tastes sweeter to me and also works as a stand alone.
Vanilla Whipped Cream is pretty good IMO.
Didn't care for either TFA or CAP Vanilla Cupcake although some like them OK.
TFA White Chocolate had no taste for me and FW White Chocolate was better.
FA Chocolate & FA Cocoa are still my favorites tho.

Forgot to mention FA Marshmallow, FA Meringue & FA Zeppola are great little additions for many things.
They add some sweetness, body, fullness, and the Zeppola when used a bit higher creates a doughnut taste.
You may also need a good French Vanilla, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, and a separate Cream like CAP/TFA Sweet Cream or FA Fresh Cream.

IMO, the Cap Cucumber isn't very good. If you want cucumber, use FA.

Also, I'm a big fan of TFA Raspberry Sweet and FA Raspberry mixed together. I also like TFA Honeydew a lot. The FA limes are great too. TFA and FA Pear, FA apricot, TFA Juicy Peach. There are others. I'll have to look at my stash.

Yeah, the cranberry translates to a vape, just like it tastes in real life, eating one. Yummy in recipes, but if you don't like cranberries... good call.

I’m willing to try anything new.

I like INW Marula (3.1% in a single flavor mix)

IMG_20170616_092901218.jpg

Sweet, refreshing and exotic.

You may not be familiar with this flavor name and instead might know it as:
mng'ongo (Swahili)
dania (Hausa)
Umganu (Zulu)
Nkanyi (Xitsonga)
Maroela (Afrikaans)
When someone asks what flavor/juice I'm vaping, I usually reply with the Swahili name

@RonJS Wow that sounds crazy exotic. Never heard of this fruit before but I'm so intrigued.
Could you describe how it taste? What other fruit does it come close to?

I primarily suggested this flavor to you based on your avatar and as my research indicates the actual fruit is a Big favorite of monkeys.;) I have read reports that the very ripened fallen fruit, when eaten, can cause monkeys to become intoxicated . I pray my suggestion does not cause you to become addicted to this flavor.

For me, it is more difficult to describe than the taste of say INW Cherimoya. Some say it's similar to guava, but I get only perhaps only a faint amount of that from INW. (Maybe from real fresh fruit? (Never had any))

Sniffing the flavor bottle one can get a very light strawberry aroma. Perhaps a small bit of quince also. I can't pick out either when vaping it though. I can't really pick out any fruit it reminds me of. If you enjoy FA Forest Fruit, you might also be a good candidate for this flavor.

Caps Sweet Mango and TFA Blackberry mixed have been treating me quite well and I dont particularly like either of those fruits to eat.

Currently doing some single flavor tests of some RF SC fruits: Boysenberry, Yumberry, Orange, Melon Medley and Pear. All are quite tasty (though the Pear is a bit of an outlier that I am not quite sure about yet) and should go good in a variety of recipes. I have a lot of their other fruits and like them all a lot.

I just got an amazing flavor today from OOO Flavors. Strawberry Shortcake. Also the gave me 2 30 for free. Sweet tea and Neapolitan Ice-cream. Plus ten other 10 ml's they give away for free on the site. Amazing. I was tired of strawberry until I got this strawberry shortcake.

I got two samples awhile ago and I was pleasantly surprised by them. I've got some on my next order list. I'll put the above on it as well.

You will not be disappointed. You do not even need to mix it anything.

I tried Peanut Butter Cereal Balls (ok) and Captain and Berries Cereal (I liked it a lot) both at 10%. I had small samples so I haven't tried any other percentages.
